Chamo

Tried this one from the discovery set, to me it's perfect smell. no, I'm not a Blink. It's like a chic yet elegant fragrance, not too long lasting on my skin. It gives me a clean, subtle, and calm scent. From the first spray, it's more like daisy and chamomile on my nose, then becomes more subtle on drying down with a musky and ambery scent. To me it lasts for about 6 hours for indoor usage and island climate. But a friend of mine told me Tamburins do not really have good quality from juice, performance, and bottle quality. For me this is a nice and pleasant fragrance, consider buying the full bottle.

Tamburins' Chamo is a truly unique fragrance! I initially discovered it on a colleague and was later gifted it for my birthday. It's quite popular in South East Asia, and I understand why—it's unlike anything I've ever smelled. While some describe it as herbal or medicinal, I find it to be a fresh, daytime, and inoffensive scent, ideal for work. It's also versatile enough for all ages. The 14ml "egg" perfume packaging is particularly cute! The dry down features a lovely muskiness. I absolutely adore it and consider it a very safe purchase.

Tamburins Chamo (2022) - purple chamomile - How I wish I could complement the perfumer, sadly this Korean brand doesn’t disclose, on this wonderful fragrance. Herbal notes from Clary Sage and Chamomile are combined with citruses at the top. As it progresses, earthy Cypriol combined with what I perceive as Iso-E create a fragrance akin to an Ellena creation (watercolors). Extreme tenacity with amber and white musk dry down.

My new signature smell, Chamo is a very obvious chamomile perfume as you can smell it without a doubt, dark sultry and can be worn either in big events or a night out, its in that perfect middle for me ,it is surprisingly very long lasting for me as i can spray it on a piece of clothing and still get the musky and earthy smell even on the next day, very great will purchase again and again

It's a lovely all year round scent for me. A nice powdery, soft skin-like with a hint of wood. The sillage of this perfume is not really good, unless I sprayed on myself like crazy. But the woodsy scent will lingering on clothes for days. As a person who can't stand heavy floral perfume, it's my personal favorite. Yes, even though I'm the only one who can smell it on me 🤣

Woodsy, musky, creamy and a little sweet. I love this. Not too forward on one side, but rather a good balance of all of the above. The longevity is pretty bad though unfortunately. Will have to keep a atomizer to re spray throughout the day. On the dry down is where it becomes a bit more floral and the sweetness of the chamomile really comes out.

You can barely smell it on yourself and doesn't last too long but I enjoy the fragrance. I feel it could work during all seasons. Leans more feminine than masculine. It's not too musky, a very good balance with the other notes - I can't stand NHAP and don't think it smells similar at all. Edit: after a few months, it lasts pretty well.

A unique, herbaceous and slightly medicinal floral that I happily adore upon blind buy. I’ve never smelled another perfume quite like it. Makes me wish I had a Tamburins near me!

The best way I can describe Chamo is with a colour. This smells mauve. Chamo is balmy, soothing; a library-soft musk that lends the gentlest sweetness and cleanliness to skin. Dried wildflowers pressed beneath porcelain, sprigs of sage forgotten in the pocket of a flannel housecoat. It’s a very hushed scent; I get no more than two hours with very liberal application. But not every fragrance needs to raise its voice. Got some coworkers travel sizes when I was in Seoul and spent the following year kicking myself I never got myself one whenever I'd catch a waft. Finally got my own in Tokyo (the faux-stone “egg” vessel is so rad and also super sturdy) and have gotten a lot of joy using it as a little olfactory reboot whenever I'm midway through night shift. Mental Snapshot: Bedding down to journal in your studio apartment. Tea lights flicker on the windowsill, a heathered meadow ripples in the dusk. The unit is old, but well-loved. Every stretch of wallpaper is obscured with shelves of dog-eared books and antique trinkets. You can hear "Fade Into You" warbling out of your neighbour's radio. tl;dr: lo-fi scents to vibe to 💆🏻🕯️

Smells like you just washed off a sharp astringent smelling hand soap with a fast food restaurant’s tap water (in a good way i guess?) Like what others have claimed, longevity and sillage is terrible but it’s likeable bc it’s play-safe and decently pleasant. Call me insane but I think it’s similar to Bvlgari pour homme soir except Bvlgari is its darker and more mysterious sibling. Both fragrance are tea-like and served with ice but the only difference is: Tamburins Chamo is more of a freshly steeped and slightly sweetened chamomile tea, served in a glass with mint leaf garnish. Bvlgari PHS is a chamomile tea resin, stronger and more bitter, served in a metal cup with lime wedge garnish. I like them but not quite a reach for me bc I wanna be seen. I wanna stand out with my fragrances. If I wear a perfume I better announce my presence LMAOOO

I actually like this quite a bit. It’s a nice, intimate scent that’s very easy to wear. Kinda in the same family as Glossier’s You Fleur but less strong and more herby. I would have rated it as “Love” if the longevity and sillage were better. But that’s also kinda the idea of the fragrances from Tamburins: gentle, clean, laid-back and quiet - they smell quite niche without an extremely hefty price tag. Wish they were easier to find in the US though.

A year on from buying this on a trip to Seoul, I can say this perfume has grown on me like an untreated skin infection. I live for herbal scents, and my sister and I agreed it has an insect-repellant quality to it, reminiscent of the Chinese medicinal oils I picked up in bulk. Definitely not a strong projection scent but I’ve found it lasts on my clothes for aaages. Regret not buying a bigger bottle now!

Really sad part, the longevity and sillage is bad. Other than that, the fragrance is good. But when a perfume has bad longevity or bad projection it loses the meaning behind fragrance applying. You want to smell good but you can not with this. If this issue gets fixed, then maybe we could talk about it better after.

I first tried this in the summer and honestly hated it- it went swampy on me, like a heavy, dirty, swampy musk. I took it back out again in cooler weather, and it’s actually quite nice. It’s very herbaceous- earthy, slightly floral, slightly bitter. I’d avoid it in the heat, and use it on cooler, rainy days.

there's this sweetness to this perfume although it's kind of musky as well, I like it but I don't love it because it doesn't scream unique to me, and the longevity is bad

I love the aquatic floral herbal opening. Hate the glossier you reminiscence. It’s a little basic but I somehow really love it on the skin

Musky armpits, but with no stank. 8.0/10

This is a pretty average musk-heavy fragrance that sits really close to the skin. It's very intimate and doesn't read as overtly sexy or attractive. Tamburins describes it as their chamomile scent hence the name, and the notes read pretty similar. However, the cypriol oil is very prominent and can give a sour, earthy effect. I heavily disagree with the Escentric Molecules and Another 13 comparisons, there's a bit more going on but I can see similarities in the woody compounds. I would compare it to a more musky version of Coffee Break by Maison Margiela Replica, but without the coffee, lavender, and milky notes. This is perfectly unisex, and the scent profile is probably more suited for cooler weather and nighttime wear.

Quite astringent, I suspect from the cypriol oil. It's something I'd imagine aesop to release. It's not something I enjoy on it's own. I'd honestly imagine for a malnourished health conscious person to smell like. I like to layer this with a light floral cucumber water like body mist as it rounds it out perfectly. Got it as a gift and I've come around to enjoying it. Wouldn't spend money on it nor recommend it to anyone

Very handsome scent but too camphoric / menthol-y for me. But overall it's still very pleasant. And yes performance leaves a lot to be desired. VERDICT: Almost good, but missed the mark a little

to me it’s more woody than floral. Pleasant but pretty forgettable

herb+sage+daisy opener. its sort of almost too powdery. There is def that woody element that comes through nicely. I don't exactly get the water scent, and if there is any, it doesnt make it fresh or anything. Dry down is better ad lighter! but sometimes it feels like im sniffing sweat? Its not basic but its not that interesting either.

This is the weakest of the Tamburins perfumes I’ve tried—its projection and sillage are practically non-existent. The opening doesn’t sit well with me, but the dry down is a more tolerable musky scent.

Very disappointed about it, last maybe 5 minutes then kinda like i have nothing on my skin, i even give it a chance by use in winter but it was no longer, i buy it because Jennie Blackpink Pr so much, but beside the good packaging, it is more like a body mist than a perfume for me

Sour musks with a sulphuric woody base. A strong pass for me.

This perfume smells very light —yes, herbal, a little, but very spring-like. A dry spring morning after just enough sleep, maybe. Probably what I would want my laundry to smell like, in a good way. If only it lasted, or if I could even smell it after spraying at all..

just received this as a gift in solid form... exquisite packaging .... the scent from using the solid version lasts all day... love the delicate musk

This is so feminine and pretty. Not my usual scent but reminded me of my Seoul trip. I love the balm formula - especially the packaging.

Smells identical to Glossier You Fleur on the drydown. Very pretty but performance is lacking.

Soft nice scent that’s it nothing else. I like this on my skin, simply satisfied.

Comforting and inviting fragrance. Longevity is a disappointment tho.
