Wow absolutely deserve to be in my collection Oh man its really nice No im testing it again its like many iris here very nice combination of iris and leathers its sweet but nit that sweet we hate it Actually i love it in the openning i me its little animalic or incense for about 3 minuets and it is going to dry down and it starts with lots of very fresh very very clean and nice iris Really loveble just imagine you have bunch or iris on the table whil you enter your room and you have leather gloves and bag too but also there is another smell its coming too it carris lots spices not that peppery or mint but definitely lots of spice very nice balances here very nice After a while maybe 2 hour (less) you smell roses to ots really nice perfume i love very high quality I got very nice projection in 4 hours and then its going to dry down and long losting about 10 or 11 hours. This is a lovely dance between light and dark. Opens bright, with a dry, mildly metallic orris, sharp cloves and a citrus that rides the line between bergamot and grapefruit, to my nose. To keep the whole thing from being so airy that is disappears, light animalics anchor the top tier and provide a bit of dirty contrast to all of the sunniness. The middle section eases into a cozier mode, with roses and a sun warmed leather buffing off the sharper edges of the top notes, varying on the opening theme of bright eyed freshness. The drydown is more structured, and less overtly cheerful, with a stout sandalwood and the ghost of the earlier spice lending a more down to earth character to the last leg of this particular journey. If "Lonestar Memories" is the scent of a lifelong cowboy who will feel far more at home riding alone in the prairies and pineywoods than in any of the towns he passes along the way, "Lonesome Rider" is the homesteader who is a bit solitary and sad for all they left behind, but still hopeful that a better and brighter life lies just beyond the next ridge. Surprisingly gentle and pretty, without losing the character that makes Tauer unique, this is definitely full bottle worthy for me. Sillage is a pleasant but not overpowering arm's length, and like all Tauer fragrances I've yet tried, lasted a solid buy not cloying 11 hours on my skin. This is definitely a more approachable option for those who might find the "Tauerade" common characteristics to be a touch overwhelming, and would be easier for a lady to wear that many other of the line's bolder unisex fragrances, given the balance between the notes used.

Pure magic and awesomeness ! Andy Tauer is a genius ! In the Andy Tauer line, I have tried his other creations LAdDM and ACdD and loved both of them. Truly unique in the classy niche perfumes world. In my view "Lonesome Rider" is underrated and deserves a much higher rating. This is such a unique blend and a masterful composition. The explosion of Incense + Sandalwood + Ambergis is a heavenly experience and opens up new worlds and new perspectives. I see a dark, deep, dense tropical forest. Druids are gathered around a large roaring fire that burns incense sticks, sandalwood logs and ambergis. Tall wisps of dense smoke leaping into the night air creating glowing sparks. The forest floor is carpeted with iris plants, wild rose bushes and vetiver grass. The smoke gently wafts through the carpet of flowers and the green grass to produce a deeply intoxicating and spiritual mood that is jubilant, serene and joyful...I catch glimpses of the infinite... Pretty good longevity and moderate sillage, and can be worn anytime. A modern masterpiece ! For fans of mysore sandalwood , you don't want to miss this one.

At first I couldn't stop sniffing my wrist. Smoky leather opening with truly beautiful powdery iris and rose notes. After an hour or so the scent got less smoky and much more floral and feminine than what I expected. Also the citrus notes in this were more notable than I expected. I think Andy Tauer is an amazing artist and I appreciate this perfume, but it was very different than what I expected based on the name and the marketing. I don't know if I'm able to wear it myself, because I have difficulties with rose notes. I find the smell of rose to be quite overpowering and in Lonesome Rider it is definitely one of the central elements. Lonesome Rider is extremely long lasting and rather complex perfume like Tauer's creations usually are. Actually I think that the best part of his fragrances is not actually wearing them, but the way they linger on my clothes and sheets for days after I wore them. Sometimes, out of nowhere, I'm able to get those slight but completely mesmerizing and comforting whiffs that take me to an other mental state. 7/10

Really love this stuff, shame I can't get hold of a bottle her in the UK. This opens with a smoky, rubbery kind of note which is not particularly pleasant but this soon goes away and settles on an amazing leather and iris combination. I love leather but it's often spoiled in fragrance by other notes such as oud, but this is just perfect. It's not too heavy but it has that unique quality that satisfies those looking for something more interesting. I've not really smelt anything similar before as I've not tried too many niche leather or iris fragrances. One that I first thought of when smelling this is Dior Cuir Cannage, because of that smoky leather iris combo, but soon realised this is different, and a lot better IMO. Projection is huge when you first spray this but it dies down very fast to an average projection which is perfect for this kind of scent. The longevity seems to be good, 8 hours or more, but definitely not beastly.

There's only one place in Melbourne where I could get this, and at that time they only had the tester, I wanted to buy this but they didn't have it at that time, and I needed to wait for a couple of days to get this wonderful fragrance. It was love at the first sniff, I initially thought that this was Lonesome Memories, and I was a bit baffled that the notes seemed different... #DUH But yeah, I like this one better, with Iris and Leather performing side by side throughout the duration of this perfume. The leather that I imagine is a rough leather, cowboy-esque leather that's a bit dirty, but ultimately creates an exquisite scent standing side by side with Iris. The longevity is good, but the sillage is moderate. But don't blind buy this, my sister doesn't like it, so it's not for everyone.

I’m not a fan of leather scents. This is despite the fact I own many scents some with a leather/suede component. Today Tauer sucker punched me again!!! This one works for me - beautiful suede with mainly iris on top backed by weaker rose finishing with light bite of incense. In between is a jumble of complimentary notes and a lovely airyness thanks to the Vetiver. Sold! Sample converted to a big bottle. I’m sure it’s the recipe for his Data Miner or Solar Engineer soap that I also love. I think I’ve tried every scent he has now and whilst I wouldn’t own them all I have huge respect for his abilities. Andy Tauer belongs to a group with Bruno Fazzolari, Ormonde Jayne and Miller Harris who should be way bigger than they are but I’m grateful they are not, like it’s my secret ;)

Got this on a whim rather, for my birthday with a gift voucher from friends. Could have gotten myself a nice Dusita, a Tauer floral or whatever else they had in their unique curation. But I got sold on the story. I am often attracted to discrepancies and unexpected combinations so the thought of a fully made up look wearing this strong masculine scent appealed. This is way to smoky and leathery. I appreciate patchoulis, vetivers, santals and whatnot but this a bomb of powdery smoky leather - much more appealing with a man's skin chemistry. Will give it a try in this cold weather to see if I get some comfort out of it before putting it on sale or swap.

The rider in Lonestar Memories has matured into a gentleman cowboy in a white shirt and clean new boots. The rough edges of the former are now polished into a mossy chypre along the same lines as Xerjoff's Reckless and Clive Christian's X (without the cinnamon), wth a tart citrus top and smoky, earthy vetiver, leather, just a dash of incense and orris root as the foundation. This is a great year-round, safe scent from Andy Tauer, office friendly, mild, mature and it sits close to the skin. There is no Tauerade in this one, and it is unlike any of Andy's previous offerings -- not unique or challenging, but a significant shift in style. 9/10.

Got my samples a few days ago and have had three full wearing a now. I like it. It seems to lean a bit more to the feminine side too me. It seems to get quite floral at the dry down. I love Andy tauer and most everything he's ever made. This is no different. I do feel this is a much tamer Tauer. This is quite accessible to the average fragrance wearer. It's not at all abstract and can easily be appreciated by all. Don't let the name fool you, there are not many similarities to my favorite Tauer frag with a similar name, Lonestar Memories. Overall, I give it a respectable 7.5 out of 10. P.s. Like all Tauers, it lasts forever!!

A much friendlier, wearable counterpart to Lonestar Memories. The loudly charred, smoky wood is softened to a whisper here. Leather takes a backseat to refreshingly zesty citrus and powdery iris. Reminds me of Shalimar, with a tame amount of petrol and no vanilla. Maybe I'm being picky, but I wish there were a Tauer scent that fell in between Lonesome Rider and Lonestar Memories? I actually love the burnt note in Memories, but it's too aggressive for me to wear out much. Rider is nice, but toothless in comparison? Yeah, my bar for Tauer scents is just high.

First off, I do not have a "good nose", I cannot smell individual notes like others and I really have to inhale deeply to get a general idea about the scent I'm wearing. What usually concerns me is if a UNISEX scent leans a little too much to the feminine side, this does not. When rose and iris show up on the list of ingredients I have to wonder. This is a good one, can't tell you much about the evolution but I'm just happy with the drydown, it is good. Don't know about being worth a full bottle purchase but trying out a sample/vial is encouraged.

Mysore sandalwood, frankincense, dry rose petals, vetiver & pepper are pulverized and the powdered mixture is sprinkled upon burning coal. The aroma from the fumes attained as described above is the opening. Your cotton shirt & leather jacket catches the aroma of the fumes and that is the dry down of this fragrance. This is the fragrance that captures middle eastern vibe perfectly. Projection: 8.5/10 Longevity: 10 hours 9/10

This fragrance came to me in a blind swap. and as I write this review, I'm 5 hours into an initial three test sprays on my arm. Based on the notes and the reviews, there seemed to be a repeat theme of a cowboy riding off into the sunset, after the fire at his campsite had burnt out. Quite honestly, I don't get that at all. The initial few minutes of the fragrance seemed light and somewhat watery - kind of like a jumble of various elements, but a few minutes later, the iris took over. Now, I'm a take it or leave it person on iris but I can definitely say that this is a dominant iris fragrance and in fact, it steals the show. Without a doubt, if you're a person who loves iris, this fragrance would likely be well suited for you. In the middle phase, it was iris all the way, although it was slightly muted by the background players. At this point, I kept waiting for the gasoline note that several had mentioned but I never picked it up, just as the listed incense note - nada, didn't register. Now, The typical gasoline note that I'm referring to is the emulation of it, typically produced in leather and violet combinations, such as Dior's Fahrenheit, which has been a popular men's fragrance for over thirty years now. To sum up the middle phase for me: it's an iris dominant floral. While I'm not much of a fan of the middle phase, the dry down is quite pleasing and the best part of it. Between the middle and dry down, I started to pick up a bit of a warmer, dry climate but that passed quickly. The florals seem to make it seem "too wet" to be truly arid. Another thing that I'd like to point out is that I'm wondering if I'm somewhat jaded or biased, based on the somewhat romantic, old west, Tauer description of it, along the many repeated reviews that echo that. I have to wonder if the image created by the text has produced something akin to the power of suggestion and the crowd mentality echoing that in later reviews. For instance, if the title had been different - say "Damp Floral Fields", would people would still have been referencing it in the same way? Having babbled that, on to the dry down. Thankfully, in this phase, the iris has receded more into being a mutual strength player than in the overwhelming dominance of the middle phase. I do still pick up the dampness and the floral element but still no smoke, incense or gasoline and it's now become a pleasing and relaxing scent, oddly, producing a very slight sweetness that wasn't evident before this. Could it be the ambergris popping its head up a bit to say "hello"? Longevity is good, projection is soft. This would make for a good office fragrance, for either sex. One thing that stands out to me, is that this is one of the most, if not THE most non-linear fragrances that I've ever smelt. It was entertaining it smelling it shift from element to element and phase to phase. While some non-linear fragrances go through more subtle changes, Lonesome Rider does it in chapters, as in: you've smelt chapter one, so now, let's change gears and move on to chapter two. My apologies for the extended review. Sometimes, I'll start typing and ramble a bit - or a lot, as you see. TL:DR: Watery opening, iris and floral (iris) dominant extended middle phase with a blended floral, damp and woody dry down. ** Update ** i decided to wear this fragrance for the second day in a row and continue to be puzzled and surprised by it. Yesterday, I put it on about 15 minutes after I got it out of the mailbox and opened it. Now, it wasn’t terribly hot and it had only been in there a couple of hours. Today, the especially strong, if not overwhelming, iris that I experienced for an extended time frame in the middle phase of development isn’t nearly as strong. I can smell a bit of incense and smoke and it seems to have shifted faster through middle and onto the dry down, which I enjoy. Regardless, the scent still remains soft on me. This fragrance is a “like” for me and although I don’t see it moving up to a “love”, I’m not sure that I’d part with it in the near future.

Fresh rose in the top, that will later shift towards a light iris/leather combo. The base is interesting, with the iris still present, and the addition of a light woodiness and possibly some ambergris. No incense to my nose, and soft projection. Had I to describe it? A rose-centric chypre. But I'll state it again: it's light and sheer on my skin.I expected something bold like Lonestar Memories, but we're miles away here. I see this one as an elegant light rosey-suede fragrance, and I'll risk to say that it's good, but not breathetaking. I can imagine that one better worn by a woman. Still, glad I could try it. i sincerely think that other fragrances by Tauer deserve more attention, and can't stop thinking that this one might be overhyped because of the limited exclusivity-fueled feeling, and the FOMO of who did not get a chance to smell it. No worries, in all honesty, it's very nice, but you don't miss a lot.

The opening is a wonderfully funky, horsey leather and incense chord; I think the incense includes myrrh, it’s got that rich-spicy flavor. Kind of a hippie-cowboy smell. Then a few minutes later I get iris. “Why is there iris all over my perfectly good leather-incense perfume?” It’s not bad, it’s just that iris tends to go chilly and polished and unfriendly; it’s a hard note to like in high doses. But it blends very smoothly with the leather; “leather-iris” is a genre in its own right. And *then*, a few minutes after *that*, I get Tauer’s cool trick of making the perfume get lighter as time goes on (instead of darker, as is typical), and I get a little grapefruit sunshine. And finally, at the drydown, it’s perfect: a smoke/leather/iris/vetiver mist, like a cloudy day over the prairie. A study in warm grays. It’s really good, y’all. Perfectly unisex. Low-key. Thoughtful. Calm in a bottle.

The immediate top note is interesting but a bit messy (makes me think about some of Gorilla Perfume's more confusing scents). Very soon Lonesome Rider takes the shape of a bright, soft rose on a slightly powdery, woody leather base. If you like rose but is reluctant to wear some of the more intense rose fragrances, Lonesome Rider might be something for you. I agree with a number of reviewers who expected something else from the marketing. To me this scent is not associated with a "Lonesome rider", my association is more to a gardener in the sunshine or maybe someone taking a Sunday-ride in the vicinity of their well kept stable with all brand new clothing and equipment. When I feel like wearing a rose scent with the signature of Andy Tauer I will most likely turn to Incense Rose. And for a lonesome rider feel I would choose Lone Star Memories.

I thought that Lonesome Rider will have similarities to Lonestar Memories, as it is kind of a reinterpretation of it (as Au Coeur Du Desert is to LDDM). However, this one opened up quite fruity to my nose with a heavy dose of iris and a pinch of that leather that Lonestar Memories had. But the leather is the only connection, this is an entirely different fragrance. It is more effervescent, light and more wearable. This is the new-age cowboy, less rugged than his predecessor and more friendly. Yet due to these characteristics, it does not project as much and lasts a little while shorter, which is around 8 hours. I think that is more than sufficient. I recommend trying both, as they are quite different. Personally, I think Lonestar Memories is the winner. It is more daring, masculine, and better value for money.

I ordered this from America without testing as I love Tauer fragrances and couldn't test it yet in the u.k. It's not my favourite of the range but I don't dislike it. I think I expected more orris and maybe a smoky element? I didn't get the "bacon" smell that some people have noted, I got zest that settled to a suede with the mildest hint of powder. It's quite nice but I would never have said it was a Tauer if I had not known, it's not one I will rush to replace when finished unlike his Incense rose or Gardenia but will use it and enjoy it all the same, just not quite as much as I had expected that I would do.

Opens with a warm powdery leather, like the smell of a nice pair of new leather shoes. :) I also get a fruity note in the beginning that I think smells like apricots, but that's not listed, so I know I'm imagining things. A little bit of spice that smells like cardamon pops up in the first few minutes giving this a really warm, comforting smell. Within the first hour the vetiver pops up and during the drydown this becomes a nearly purely vetiver scent on me, which I'm not a fan of. Lasts about 7 hours before it's purely a skinscent on me. Skews slightly more masculine than feminine to me.

Smoky leather with a beautiful rosy-orris core. Manages to be "meaty," powdery, floral, aromatic all at once. Feels like Tauer through and through. I wish I had my old sample of the discontinued unicorn Orris--this honestly smells exactly like my memory of that scent. I do wonder if anyone who owns that one has done a side by side. I love LR (and the aforementioned Orris) atmospherically and not necessarily on my body, so I'm happy to have a sample to spritz every once in a while, as it conjures up a specific mood.

An interesting floral leather composition that carries the typical Andy Tauer signature. The perfume opens with aromatic notes of citrus, pepper and incense. The heart is firmly floral with rose and iris. The fragrance settles on a leathery powdery base of ambergris, leather, sandalwood and vetiver. A nice safe leather scent that can be worn by anyone in any setting. Like most of the creations from this line, it smells very natural also. Unisex, with moderate to strong projection and longevity. Enjoy!

gorgeous combination of processed leather, rose water, iris and dried citruses. the creamy iris rounds up the leather and the slight smoky and spicy background adds depth to the scent. leather forward scents aren't my favorite because they remind me of shoe and leather stores but i appreciate the beautiful harmony of this scent. the leather note here is similar to tuscan leather by tom ford.

A bit of incense at first, then spices and in particular Citrus and Iris remain a lot. Iris tends to be too much for me in this scent. I don’t get leather...interesting perfume anyway. Very intense and big longevity

Lonesome Rider reminds me in some ways of a fragrance website used to push political propaganda. It's unfortunate to see the owners of the site treat it the way Ukrainian forces treated the Moskva.

Lonesome Rider is sort of a yin/yang type of scent. You get the smoky leather+vetiver combo contrasting with strong citrus notes that are pleasant and not sour. I smell a powdery iris too, which is a really nice play on this classic vetiver/citrus pairing. Has a lot in common with both Lonsome Rider (which has no citrus and more incense) and Incense Flash (which has more smoky leather and incense and no citrus nor vetiver). Lonesome Rider is my least favorite of the ones mentioned, but that is probably because the vetiver/citrus combo does not suit my personal preferences. But this is certainly a Tauer perfume, and I feel that with this perfume what you see in the pyramid is what you get. If you are into that combo of citrus & vetiver, I think this is the nicest and most interesting one out there. Update: I'm just way more into vetiver than I was when I wrote this review. As a vetiver fragrance, this is one of the best out there. Full bottle wanted!

My sample of this arrive the other day. I was excited to get to try this one. I LOVE Desert Marocain and Lonestar Memories. Upon initial spray I thought.. Hmmm... a very feminine scent. The floral is very dominant. But I know that Tauer is known for a different slant on fragrances, so I hung in there with it and wore it throughout the day. I am sad to say that it did not get much better on my skin. At the end of the full day wearing, I still get a very floral / feminine vibe from this one with an undertone of leather and wood. So this one is a pass for me. On the plus side it has great longevity and good projection on my skin. So if you are into floral heavy / feminine scents, this might work for you.

I bought a decant of this fragrance because I was so curious. It's fascinating, but I'm not sure I want to smell like this, on my skin the incense note is dominant and I end up smelling like a church in a forest while raining. Very unique olfactory experience.

Tauer talked about the iris being metallic here, and if so, that's not something I would want (at those prices) because I already have a couple of scents like that and rarely wear them (really have to be in the mood for it).

Unfortunately, on my skin this is very rubbery smelling. The incense and rose do not mix well for me. You will want to test this one before buying.

A very interesting fragrance combining typical notes for a rather atypical fragrance. It's a great experience to smell, but I find it very difficult to find the right occasion for this. The opening is a sharp, overpowering iris which atop the leather, vetiver and smoky notes creates a very authentic feel. To me personally, it smells quite medicinal and piercing. However, the leather is very nicely done–rough and tanned, like a leather satchel.. The smoke is executed just as intended, fiery and with a burnt quality. Since Tauer fragrances are all about experiences.. I'll explain what I envision.. A woody cabinet, left outside on a vegetal field, burning away–with its contents inside. Perhaps clothes, some flowers, a bitter citrus, some medicine.. This sounds horrible, but it's actually quite satisfying.. Perhaps it's our Lonesome Rider watching in tranquility as he's burning away his old possessions to feel free of the burden. After about 10 hours, he has slowly made his way out of the field.. Excellent longevity at 10 hours, strong projection for 4 hours. The main notes I smell are leather, orris root, iris, dusty woods and citrus. I really enjoy sniffing this, but can never feel "right" to wear it.

I, absolutely, LOVE this fragrance! Just received Lonesome Rider and it is very nice! A spicy somewhat boozy gourmand fragrance with a sweetly dark feel; I don't detect just sweets nor just dark, however the combination; Lonesome Rider has this woodsy yet soft edge about it that's almost powdery, but is really rosy. Perhaps from the Incense and Sandalwood combination. Might I add, I detect the Rose and Leather playing tug-of-war; blended together, they are done in the most masterful way!! (There is a rubbery aspect that I detect initially hidden underneath it all but it is not off-putting, however just an observation worth noting...this is probably due to the leather, vetiver, and pepper). This comes in 1.7oz and you don't need much to project or to leave a scent trail (silage). (This fragrance puts you in the mindset/genre of Phaedon Dzhari, gourmand, sweetly dark, spicy; also, a Jubilation XXV spicy, sweetly berry touch.) In the end, my final analysis: in the dry-down you get a spicy, woodsy, semi-sweetly fragrance that is both MESMERIZING, and utterly AMAZING!! Projection: 9 Longevity: 9 Silage: 8.5 Performance: 9 Overall: 9

I purchased this directly from Andy Tauer's site, and he included a hand signed thank you note with my purchase. What a delightful, unpretentious, and personal touch that, while quite unnecessary, is absolutely endearing. I also purchased his mag and a 5 ml sample of the new oud fragrance, which has not yet arrived, but I cannot wait to try! So, Lonesome Rider is, to me, the epitome of a certain time in the American West. A time when Billy the Kid roamed about Lincoln County, terrorizing citizens and the law alike. This perfume smells of leather, of violence, of suffering, and, yes, loneliness--or perhaps isolation is a better choice. Yes, I think it is. This perfume evokes a sense of isolation yet paradoxically also of vast open space where lizards scuttle over rocks and crows circle ominously above. It is unique and captivating--definitely a unisex scent leaning more towards the masculine (which I love). The longevity and sillage are excellent. Highly recommend.

An interesting exploration into a Western vibe (after Lonestar Memories), Tauer Lonesome Rider is, for me, primarily a mix of suede, powder, and woods, and that is respect, is cold-weather leaning. The iris is powerful and blends well with the leather in creating a mixed leather/iris experience. In contrast to the green and incense aspects of Lonestar Memories, I get a dry, old book-smelling aspect with Lonesome Rider. It's not smoky, but slightly dirty and spicy, likely due to the vetiver and pepper, respectively. Lonesome Rider walks the unisex line, as the powder brings it from a masculine-leaning fragrance to something that most adults could wear. It certainly doesn't strike me as something that a young person could or would have any interest in pulling off. Performance is very good, as expected with a Tauer EDP. Overall, I'd regard this as interesting artistry but not something I would buy or find consistently pleasant. 6 out of 10

Ok, so imagine camping in the forest and you light a self made fire pit consisting of branches, leaves, and other combustibles. It burns all night and self extinguishes right before sunrise. All that is left is the smoke as the pit's temp gets closer to the ambient air around it. Oh, and your leather boots may or may not have been accident scorched by the flames from being too close to the pit. Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you, Lonesome Rider. Floral-leather hmmm no sorry! I prefer Amouage's Imitation man floral-leather interpretation a lot better.

It starts out very smokey, like how your shirt smells after you've sat around a fire pit. Then I started to smell something a little sweeter, a new car smell. If you rolled the windows down on a brand new car with leather seats and sat inside downwind from a bonfire, this is what it would smell like. That is an oversimplification, but you get the general idea. The drydown is my favorite part - a beautiful, somewhat sweet powderyness. I like it, but as a woman I don't know when I'd where this. I'd like to smell it on a man though.

This was simply too heavily incense for me. I think my skin amps incense and my nose did not enjoy it. It started with a discordant dual note of leather and citrus, a bitter citrus. The leather eventually dominated but the first 20 min was unpleasant. Then it was leather and incense, mostly incense. After 9 hours, it's much sweeter, but the majority of my day I was bathed in a fragrance that was too strong, not in harmony with my skin or itself. Sillage was bold, good longevity.

That one is a cowboy stuff. The american cowboy, the 18th century cowboy era. I smell a cowboy tobacco, cowboy hat, his dirty jeans, his gun, his leather, the dessert around him, some hay and the bar he is heading too. This is quite different that Tauer's collection and i can't smell his stamp in this one, it is quite different. Very leathery, very tobaccoish. it does resembles the Cowboy era.

🐻 Sweet and smokey soft leather. 🐻 4:30 a.m. a knock on your door, you open up to the darkest blue starry night and greeted with a big cold hug from a warm cowboy you love; the crisp firewood and leather scent lingers on your cheek and hair as you look in the mirror and thank God he made it home safe. Paid a hefty resell price for a half full bottle on poshmark; worth every scent/cent. 🐻

This scent is unusual in that it rotates between the odors of tea and a hard-worn leather jacket that has been bathed in wood smoke. The taste of lapsang souchong tea is the closest match that occurs to me. I used to drink lapsang souchong from time to time, wondering if I would ever grow to really like it. The same goes for this perfume. But I will try, since I bought a full bottle.

Wore this to basically a family reunion this past weekend. My female cousins said it smelled like "bbq" and leather. They were intrigued by it and we even had a conversation but they didn't necessarily like it. I get a leathery floral note and do notice the smoky smell it has. I enjoyed wearing it and it is a unique scent.

I bought my bottle of Lonesome Rider scent unsmelled because Andy Tauer can do no wrong, in my opinion. When I sprayed it on I couldn't believe how much I disliked it. Four days later, on reading the posts listed here, I decided I must have missed something. I shall now return to my bottle and reevaluate.

I like most of andys frags, he really takes an artistic approach to his stuff and for niche, he makes his stuff affordable. This appears to be a love or hate it type of scent. I have a sample on the way and will do a review once I get it both on here and YouTube. Fingers are crossed!!

you board a flight from India & you land at ANY European airport, the 1st smell reminds me of this . Its may be because you suddenly get surrounded by tobacco note & perfumes at Duty free. Its one of my fav smells but i don't know if i will buy it as a perfume for myself .

A beautiful iris and floral leather composition, quite stunning. It reminds me in some ways of Modoc by Xerjoff. Iris scents are not my thing but if you like iris and gentle leather and floral notes, all balanced so well, then this is a gem.

Scent - leather, iris & rose. Season/Time of Day - I prefer to use this one in the warmer months, day or night. Projection - I didn't get noticed, I didn't get a compliment. Longevity - I get 8hrs consistently.

Can anyone point me in the direction of where this is still possible available? Even if it's a decant or a small sample??
