Summer In Love

Ordered a sample set and Summer in Love was the standout. I was thinking this one would be my least favorite but it surprised me. Im not a fan of green fragrances and I typically loathe basil notes but the ‘green’ in this is beautifully balanced and blended with the bright ‘not too sweet’ peach note creating an uplifting and almost sparkling clean aroma. Almost smells like an upscale luxury soap or lotion. It’s very chic and smells like ‘effortlessness’ (if that makes sense to anyone but me) It reminds me of Bal d’afrique by Byredo. No, they don’t smell the same but they have that same effortless ‘if you know you know’ kind of appeal. Definitely recommend and I will be adding this to my collection asap!

This is probably my favorite in the discovery scent. I was worried about the tomato leaf note being too green or savory, but it’s actually a beautiful, effervescent herbal scent without smelling overwhelmingly green. The peach balances it with some mild sweetness. It smells like a summer day in a lush garden. It’s a very intimate wear but beautiful regardless.

Definitely very fresh and green! The tomato leaf and basil are super prominent, with wisps of underripe peach breaking through. If you've been exposed to Fzotic, the peach accord in this reminds me a LOT of the apricot accord used in Monserrat (this is a good thing). +1 on the Mrs. Meyers comparison that @Aums made. I love that stuff and have it stocked in my kitchen during the summer pretty religiously, this smells really similar.

This is pure photorealistic tomato and basil leaves, as if I crushed them together in my hands straight from the garden. This immediately makes me think of summer. I would love this as a room scent spray or candle, but it’s not a scent I associate with wanting to smell like out in the world. Edit: I realized this smells exactly like Mrs Myers tomato leaf hand soap. I associate it with a fresh and clean kitchen in summer.

This is super fresh and really unique. It’s not for someone looking for something mass appealing (even though it is universally nice) because it genuinely smells like tomatoes and basil. It’s very herby green. The perfume is really high quality. I picture wearing this on a picnic in the summer.
