“Glorious Magnolia” I really love the house of Teo Cabanel. You might not personally like every one, but their fragrances are well executed, smell like high quality ingredients and always nicely done. On me, Lace Garden starts off very fruity, like peaches and nectarines, over natural smelling white florals & magnolia. The beginning is effervescent and youthful, bursting with a fresh peachy citrus nectar. The reviews before mine describing Lace Garden as vintage and French seem strange to me. Lace Garden is vibrant, playful and American in character. If I had to name a similar perfume it would be the original Michael Kors (the fruity gardenia one), but it’s miles better and less synthetic than that. Others I’d place in this similarly fresh playful white floral genre would be Gucci Bloom, Narcotic Venus, Nishane Tuberoza, and Le Labo Lys 41; although I think Lace Garden has the upper hand in terms of quality and price point. Lace Garden never goes fully into Big Tuberose territory on me. It remains a peachy magnolia jasmine and doesn’t change much only to soften and mellow as it dries down. It’s likely the Ylang causing it to smell so peachy (and a little banana-y) at the start and this phase of development is truly delightful. Lace Garden is a beautiful, fresh, realistic fruity white floral. Those from the American south should enjoy this beautiful scent, don’t miss this one.

This new offering from Teo Cabanel is a must try for tuberose and ylang lovers. It opens with a sugary lemon and creamy ylang, which is joined by a buttery tuberose, accented with some jasmine and neroli to tone it down a bit, but tuberose is what stays with you. The drydown brings in lovely woods, a bit of vanilla to soften and some benzoin to make it last. Although the description lists powdery notes, this is not a powdery fragrance to my nose. It is lovely, creamy, a bit of indoles in the development to give it a sexy vibe, and long lasting. This beauty stayed with me for 12 hours and it even has a tiny bit of sillage left after 12 hours. I normally find tuberose scents too "diva-ish" but this one is perfection. I used only 2 sprays and it projects well, but in a feminine way, not in a take no prisoners way. Lace Garden does make me think of lace. It would be a perfect wedding day perfume or the perfect evening scent to go with some new lacy lingerie. Uber feminine, sexy and altogether divine!

This is a stunner, as everyone else says... cool, milky, soft, delicate, creamy and so natural white yellow floral perfume . Ultra pretty, it 'Wowed' me on first smell, I can pick up all the little nuances of all the flowers... the lemon, ylang, jasmine all delicate and natural, a natural Magnolia note stands out the most and remains dominant the entire wear, so you got to love Magnolia. I could wear this everyday, all occasions. The dry down is warm floral and melds with the skin, slight vanilla but still all the flowers are there, remarkable, I cannot compare this to anything else on the market.. It is a gentle blend, not bold or harsh. The bottle and packaging is also stunning, gold and rose gold. I highly recommend to white floral Spring in a bottle Magnolia lovers to try this. Agree it would make a great Wedding scent or special occasion scent.

I have been obsessed with Lace Garden by Teo Cabanel since I fist smelled it! This comes as no surprise since I am a white floral fanatic. Lush tuberose blooms with fresh lemon and creamy ylang-ylang notes. Lace Garden dries down a bit warmer with a powdery vanilla base and slightly wood undertones with the orange flower keeping things sweetly floral and the tuberose is still going strong. This is such a beautifully feminine fragrance and I absolutely love wearing this!

A fragrance of impact with a French imprint. Remember a French garden,spring days with its very lively and sunny notes. Lemon and Ylang is an interesting beginning, then it becomes very "floral" with tuberose mainly. A refined representation, a delicate and discreet perfume. This perfume describes just like a "dream garden". Beautiful. Sillage: 7.5/10 Longevity: 8./10 Scent: 8.5/10 Overall: 8.5/10

The magnolia note in Lace Garden is incredible. It reminds me the smells of early summer sitting under a magnolia tree. Teo Cabanel are just unbeatable at photorealistic scents that replicate the battery of smells associated with something you’ve likely experienced, and then make the fragrance entirely wearable. Art and science in perfect harmony.

this perfume is definitely about tuberose! the tuberose is fresh and green...It makes you feel so elegant and feminine. it gives an impression of walking into the garden full of greenery and white flowers, freshly watered or right after the rain. To my nose it's the sister perfume to Petite Fracas but without sweetness and less loud.

This perfume is like a fresh bouquet. It seems wet & fresh. It reminds me of the inside of a florist shop at Easter time. I am yearning for the sun and the warmth of springtime. This perfume embodies that.

Lace Garden was recommended to me on the forum, so I was excited to find it on sale in a department store. I didn't buy it, but it is a beautiful, ladylike springy tuberose fragrance. If you like the tuberose note in Fracas, Lace Garden is a lighter, fresher take on this kind of tuberose, with a cool, powdery vibe. It starts out quite citrussy and green, the lemon note is very apparent. Fortunately it doesn't smell like flower stems though, I don't like that in tuberose fragrances. The lemon vanishes over time, but the fragrance stays fresh on the skin for hours. Beneath it, there is some warmth from the vanilla, benzoin and woods, but this only becomes noticeable in the drydown. This slightly balsamic base really gives Lace Garden a richer character and keeps it from becoming thin and fleeting. It's not the creamy kind of tuberose though, it's quite dry in texture. Despite being a clean and airy white floral, this is not a week perfume, when had two sprays on my arm I could easily smell it through my sweater and my coat.

Waw , it's not a formal french garden at all! ... the opening is a gorgeous burst of orange flower, green tuberose and fleshy magnolia with an very intense almost tropical milkiness, like some over riped exotic fruit and green figs, mixed with the lightest drop of coconut milk. The result is a silky, white milky floral note that is almost refreshing in its greenness, while also being sweet in a really natural way. The evolution is more consensual with a lot of white musk who brings sillage and longevity but erase the outlines of this beautiful garden. A truly exquisite Spring-like floral in a tropical garden (nothing old, vintage or even european in style) I find it very unisex

Simply divine, lovely vintage spring scent. Fresh, but with a warmth to it. I really enjoy this mature scent. It does sit quite close to the skin. Lace Garden reminds me of green leaves and flowers as dusk approaches after a hot summer afternoon. There is a lingering green freshness, with a powdery slightly sweet warmth. Would be a wonderful addition to my spring/summer collection if it packed just a little more punch, but perhaps that would ruin the magic.

very vintage floral like a Laura Ashley or Alyssa Ashley fragrance in the top then turns a bit to a very green slightly bitter floral with tuberose but not the creamy kind and rose that I can smell distinctly, interesting and pretty, unique take on a floral but not for everyone even floral lovers; in the base it is just sweet white florals and you feel the jasmine and magnolia more

Lace Garden is mostly strong and lemony magnolias, but there's something sharp that makes it unwearable to me. Maybe it's the lemon's acidic fault, or it's the powdery note or the alcoholic smell that I somehow get? Or maybe it's all the flowers that make it so shrill, I don't know. It reminds (very slightly) of Jardins de Bagatelle.

I agree with the different comments, it is a vintage floral fragrance. Ylang and tuberose dominate in this perfume. More for hot day, for an elegant lady. She is in his French garden, takes time to live and watch the nature around her. 6/10

Candied floral scent - strong and rich at first, it fades away pretty quickly on me (in about two hours). The drydown is powdery, nothing special. Kind of disappointed by the performance after my encounter with Cafe Cabanel, to be honest.

Simple, clean tuberose. Very elegant, timeless, pleasant. I like it a lot, even though it lacks charisma...if I were to choose, I prefer Prada La Femme.

Pretty, yellow, springtime, fruity flowers. Ageless and not mood-dependent.

I had high hopes about Lace Garden and was almost sure that I'm going to love it as I love tuberose,magnolia,orange flower,jasmine,powdery notes,vanilla and benzoin.I'm very lucky that I had the opportunity to test it before blindbuying as I don't like it at all I expected a tuberose bomb,radiant and fresh but I didn't find it fresh at all.if citruses are there,they appear warm and not juicy and there was no powder.I can't talk about it's notes,just a warm floral blend(probably ylang ylang being the most dominant one),not bad but not really nice-smelling either.my experience is totally different with all the other reviews so it's probably a skin chemistry issue خوشم نیومد.واسه من چندان مریمی نبود و اصلا فرش هم نبود

VINNNNNNTAGEEEEE! Maybe the lace garden refers to an old vintage lace from the 19th century... I'm not sure anyone can rock this one today without scaring people... it will definitely generate reactions. but if you like loud screechy vintage floral, go for it!

Very fresh and floral with a hint of lemon. I don't like it and it's a bit headache inducing for me.

A feminine perfume of green tuberose and magnolia, perfect for spring. It is a simple and beautiful composition but one that we have smelled many more times, for example in perfumes in the line of Gucci Bloom. Maybe that's why I find it somewhat generic and boring at this point. It is compared to the classic Carolina Herrena perfume but, to my nose, it has nothing to do with it. The CH has an important fruity part and is sweeter, also showing a slight animalic touch that gives it that vintage character that many people attribute to it. A character that, in my point of view, also makes it a perfume with much more soul and personality. It has a moderate-soft sillage and lasts about 6 hours on my skin, some more hours in clothing. Due to the lack of surprise in the composition and with cheaper options on the market and in my collection, I would not buy it. I also found out that it is not available on the brand's website, it must have probably been discontinued. Lace Garden, a white floral grenade. This is a heady tuberose scent, the kind you could shove in a blunt and get a nice lil buzz off of. I adore white florals but I was not fully enchanted by this perfume. The reason is that there is this hyper realistic green “bite” to this fragrance that I could not make peace with. It is not the perfume that failed me however, it was my own nose that failed me. This is because the scent is so well constructed and I know this bitter green note was added as a photorealistic fresh floral detail.... but my nose was not in the mood to enjoy the nuance. I absolutely love all of the other elements that play under that bitter note. Nevertheless I could see many people adoring this scent, especially any true tuberose fanatic. Lace Garden is what I imagine a lady would wear back in the day, as she strolled through her garden with a lacy parasol resting on her shoulder.

The Ylang Ylang opening will please any fan of the banana-y flower. I don’t find it shrieky or overly syrupy (thinking of those 80’s fragrances which contain yellow florals) at all; there’s a tropical, creamy softness to this scent but you must love ylang or you’ll be disappointed. Unfortunately, the sweet opening transitions into tuberose and magnolia, reminding me of a more elegant, ylang-forward version of Curious by Britney Spears, which gives me a headache.

It is that soft milky gardenia with a cooling breeze that hits you with a calming wind when first sniff, Goes white creamy with a slight greenish rooty note to describes the dreamy garden. I could smell the tuberose, the magnolia, but there is no jasmines so far! the lemon and the ylang gives the effect of a slight greenish soil but no jasmines. It is kind of powdery as well but more of a milky cooling gardenia magnolia blend, soft, calm, & relaxing.

This is a BEAUTIFUL tuberose, very fresh, modern and sexy dare I say! I am not a lover of "heavy" diva tuberoses aka Fracas, but this is not even in the same category. Very white floral, very summery and just gorgeous, totally full bottle worthy.

A very light, pleasant but unfortunately, short-lived fragrance. Lace Garden feels more like a cologne than a perfume, this is evident by its poor longevity and sillage. Pass.
