Hammam

I am a fan of the Tesori scents.Although I am in my thirties and earn well enough to be able to afford expensive scents, and my previous collection of catalogue and drug store darlings slowly gave their places to perfumery goods, Tesori stays. I don't care if it is cheap - it does not smell cheap, it is surprisingly complex and beautiful. I own 5 different bottles and they are high on my preference list, no matter what. Among them, Hammam stands out: it is my top favourite Tesori, and I might even say it keeps it's place in my Top 10 favourite scents ever. The bottle I own is way more beautiful than this pictured here, the black one with copper ornaments. And now finally the scent: it is an absolutely lovely, soft, very complex mixture of citrusy, vanilla and woody notes, having even some oily softness I can not explain or tie to one of the notes listed here. Amber, almond blossom, orange blossom - they are all there, but like in some kind of precious oil oriental princesses but on their hair or skin to smell divine. Love it, will keep on owning a bottle of it until I die:))

I'm new to the Tesori d'Oriente series and this is my favorite so far. Reminiscent of Armani Code on first spray. I get a quick note of lemongrass...the fragrance remains bright and somehow woody on the dry skin of my arm. This is made with Argan oil, which someone said Hugo Deep Red reminds them of; I can also see the resemblance between HDR and TdO Hammam. The heart and dry-down are a rich and almost unctuous spicy vanilla, rather too full and overpowering for tropical summer nights, but evocative of that mood for those days in the year when you long for a bit of warmth. I have a bottle with a different design: not the cheesy towel-draped couple but just beautiful bronze arabesques against black. Love it! Update: Have just discovered this to be a rougher but certainly less expensive take on YSL Cinema.

This reminds me a bit of black opium but way less sugary. On my skin i get a bit of citrus in the opening, some powdery almond and vanilla with some very subtle florals. For some reason I also get heiotrope but it isnt listed above but it might just be the combo of the musk and almond? I find it great as an everyday scent, and hope it doesnt turn noxious during the summer so I can use it all year round. It sits close to the skin with one spray. With two sprays it improves It lasts for about 5ish hours on me. Its so affordable and you get a lot of product so it is definitely worth trying. I would consider it a safe blind buy if you like the notes listed. Its not a complicated fragrance but I love how easy it is to wear, so if I run out I will repurchase it!

My favourite from the Tesori d'Oriente Rituals! On hot Summer nights out or even rainy Summer nights, this works wonders on my skin. It is sweet mandarin orange at first, then the orange blossom and vanilla-amber deepens it up. I always layer with the bath / shower cream, the body cream and then the aromatic perfume for a bit more staying power. I have even performed the sacrilege (not really) of spritzing (nope, over spraying) YSL Black Opium (before it was so hated and became so common) as a finishing touch. Was it an orange blossom, vanilla bomb with a slight citrus-spiciness? Yes and I loved it! It garnered compliments and it gave monster sillage as well. The black and rose gold / copper packaging are always a must have in my bathroom.

A value for money, long lasting, creamy flower and velvety citrus fragrance. Imagine eating lemon vanilla ice cream in a jasmine garden. The scent ist super classy. When I mix this with really dark, animalic notes I feel so upper class. This fragrance, especially when mixed with any darker scent, becomes a masterpiece (try a strong patchouli one) Hammam gives a feminine leaning impression because of the jasmin. I love it for its slight indolic character. As with all tesori fragrances the price (5€) could not be lower. Sillage is perfect, so is duration. Not a safe blind buy in comparison to other tesori fragrances but a nice one to have.

This amazing little gem is one of my all time favorites, I always keep a bottle of it at home. A bottle with the gorgeous black and copper design, not this ugly one featured in the picture here. It has indeed a luxurious spa vibe: warmth, precious oils, orange blossom and amber, steam and relaxation. It lasts quite long, around 6 hours, close to the skin but noticeable. Although it is really cheap, it does not smell cheap at all, no sinthetic, disturbing vibes. Except the really hot summer days this is a nice companion all around the year. I adore it and will continue to buy it until it exists! :)

I know perfume is subjective and Ph-related, but for your sake, don't think that this is a lemon air freshener/cleaning solution disaster. It's not screechy, tart, green or dated. It is pleasantly citrus-ey at first, but amber, flowers and ultimately, vanilla, beautifully unfold for several hours. Excellent projection and longevity, especially if used in colder months, when it can fully shine. A true gem and bargain for its super low price.

As it was said before, this one smells very similar to YSL Cinema but in my opinion Hammam Tesori d`Oriente is better considering the price and longevity. This scent is very sensual, totally recomend.

Sweet and floral! The "lemon" note I'd call "lemonade" because it's sweet and, to my nose, not harsh at all for a citrus smell. Balanced well with warm, cozy undertones. Very girly and cute!

This one develops beautifully between the top, mid and base. Very pleasant, fresh and feminine. The mid really sings.

Bought this one today, i wanted it for some time now, it's a nice smell. affordable ~8eur for 100ml....aaaaand it does smell like YSL Cinema. not a lot, the chic almond blossom here would be just almond, but none the less i like it. I wear these little Tesori d'Oriente perfumes as body mists, and they do the job, nice smell, short lived, but you can re-apply any time from the metallic 100ml bottle. I have a perfume addiction :))) Keep buying stuff lately.Oh and btw the bottle in the picture is not the actual bottle, my bottle is black with copper "lace" design. Oh btw : listed notes are clementine, jasmine sambac, orange blossom, argan oil. I feel some vanilla in it, and it is similar to Armani Code too. I don't think it's a feminine perfume at all...it's quite unisex and i think it would be sexy on a man :)

This is my go-to scent for when the primary goal is to feel and smell fresh and clean. With this initially you'll get a blast of sweet lemon, which quickly dries down to a cozy vanilla and almond scent that isn't too sweet or edible. The name is fitting, because it does give off a luxurious and calming spa vibe. All in all, this is a great scent for someone who likes sweet scents but wants something they can just throw on after a shower and feel clean and refreshed. It's also dirt cheap, so what's not to love? Of course, you shouldn't expect huge longevity and sillage from this, but that's not what it claims to offer anyway. I personally layer it with the matching body cream for added comfort and intensity. Also, note that the bottle has been changed; it's now black with copper and much more elegant looking.

Taken by a compulsive shopping spree, I emptied the Treasures of the East sector. Having snubbed and / or underestimated it for years and years, despite having appreciated its olfactory performance on several occasions. After reading all the reviews here on Fragrantica, I decided to test and experience these cheap fragrances, very synthetic but still pleasant, if it goes wrong I will spray them in the rooms ... Hammam by Tesori d'Oriente: it is a majestic citrus triumph in the opening notes , sour, lively, fresh, when dry, the olfactory evolution turns towards a light white floral bouquet always distinct from the prevailing citrus note. When dry down, the amber, boises and sweet vanilla notes faintly close the olfactory experience. Very reminiscent of YSL Cinema.

In my experience, Tesori d’Oriente delivers very nice quality for the price. It’s cheap but it doesn’t smell cheap. Hammam is like others have stated quite similar to Cinema, but it might smell more like Cinema when the nozzle isn’t clean (a heavy, over powering smell). A clean nozzle, after a few sprays into the air, will give a more citrusy experience with lemon as the main note. It’s a strong and beautiful lemon when it plays along with the orange flower. When the lemon has subsided the smell is sweet and calming. Hammam is beautiful and elegant, but will sit close to the skin. It doesn’t disappear, but it’s easy to become anosmic to it. Others will notice and appreciate it on your skin though.

Luckily the bottle has changed to the black and copper. Anyway, regarding the similarity to Cinema there is some, but it is not a dupe. When someone says that this reminds them of a perfume they don't mean it is the same, so do not downvote. so there is a similarity but to me this has a plastic note that ends up smelling like a plastic doll's head. But apart from that it is good. In its notes mentions: jasmine and orange blossom but there is definitely vanilla as well. It is a good perfume for autumn or winter since it is a little heavy and sweet but not cloying. Both the sillage and the longevity are moderate.

Very pleasant perfume. A bit lemony with some almond powder. Also some florals with vanilla. Hammam is leaning towards the feminine side but, I don't mind that. It has moderate staying power and projection. The overall presentation is a powdery scent with a pleasant character which comes in a lovely metal bottle. I think this will be a grower. *Update* yes, this is a lovely and well blended perfume with lots of character.

Warmth in a bottle! I am on seventh heaven when I am wearing this and using the hand cream. The scent is intense, cuddly and perfect for winter. Although the notes are not listed, I get argan oil, some spices and cacao. Longevity is great for the price. I can't say whether is similar to Cinema, but it's definitely a nice discovery to begin the year with!

This is a very out of the shower scent, I will layer it with my body butter and maybe a powdery vanilla perfume and will smell amazing. To my nose is almost a soliflore orange blossom. Fresh, clean and aromatherapeutic. I think its great for the price, lasts long.

In this moment I have Cinema in one wrist and Hammam in the other one. They are similiar at 90%, both are warm and intense. I really like it! Maybe this one could be more unisex than Cinema, but it's a beautiul alternative for only 4€ 100ml!

On my skin it's quite similar to YSL Cinema Festival d'Été, but Hammam is much more citrus-infused. And in CFdÉ vanilla is more dominant. It's a cheap fragrance, but it doesn't smell cheap, like most of the Tesori d'Oriente fragrances.

Somewhere between Armani Code and massage oils of the 90's, throws me right back to lying in the bath in my aunt's apartment and smelling all the different Yves Rocher bath foams and body lotions lined up on the edge of the tub.

A powerful explosion of raw lemon, burning, then my skin ate everything and there was no continuation, no sweetness, no almond, no amber... nothing.

Nice scent, similar to Yves Saint Laurent ́s Cinema. Creamy and yummy.

I was expecting something much more spa like because of its name but it just smells like a vintage perfume that has lost its power.

Hamman by Tesori D'Oriente is a cheap smelling synthetic vanilla/citrus blind-buy mistake. It smells like it should be found in a child's toy box of dress-up costumes as it mimics a sense of being grown-up whilst being cheap, sickly sweet and easily expendable. Perfect for my mother-in-law as she likes a bit of tat. A no-no for anyone that does not like synthetic vanilla. Vanilla done well is amazing, vanilla done without quality is vile and car-sick inducing.

I don't know how it's possible but on me this smells exactly like Burberry Brit Rhythm. It's very powdery in the opening and once it settles I get some almond blossom, vanilla, no citruses on me. Sweet, close to skin. Fall/winter suitable.

I'm not convinced about the quality of these perfumes. In my opinion, they are only synthetic, for health rather harmful. This scent has completely convinced me that I have to return to natural essential oils. My Rating 1/5. Disaster

I had a 3 ml sample of it last summer. It started nice, with something like lemon or orange blossoms, but it lasted only a while on me. Then it changed into some kind of syntetic, overly-sweeted citrus hard candy ;(

This scent reminds me of the orange peel ... but sprayed in the eyes. It is a harsh and annoying fragrance.

This is a sweet lemon air freshener. Not bad for a bathroom scent, but I can't really call it a perfume

Straight up lemon that's all I get. Good for spraying on bathroom towels / guest towels.

White floral scent, which is not pleasant. It's good for the first seconds. Starts with a beautiful green notes but then it turns into strong white flowers.

I have this one and I like it enough. Nothing spectacular but I like it more than YSL Cinema which is more cloying and too vanilla, also slightly putrid on my skin. Hammam behaves better and it has a pleasant orange blossom note (or what they sell now for it). I still don't know what pure argan oil smells like. I know at least 3 perfumes that feature argan oil and they have something in common like a nutty edge plus other notes. Here "orange blossom" floral part is the star and it makes a nice combo. I cannot say that Hammam is very similar to L'Erbolario Profumo all'olio di Argan, because that one is more nutty and sweet. I have it in the black bottle with coppery decoration. It is mostly sold in that bottle in the last years.

I'm really thankful that my bottle of Hammam looks nothing like the one on here!! Actually, mine is very classy . . . dark chocolate brown bottle with copper filligree separating the text blocks, all the writing is also in copper. I just wish that the contents measured up to the bottle. As soon as the spray settles down I get lots of citrus and then it's gone. I hope that the addition of argan oil would cause the perfume to hang around longer but it did not. For me this is the same kind of generic, inoffensive perfume like those produced by Cuba Paris in those cigar shaped bottles. Nice, not overly sweet but with nothing memorable in the notes or construction.

This is another nice scent from Tesori d’Oriente. The pyramid above doesn’t really describe the actual development, which is as follows: first we have a very sweet burst of orange and clementine, and after it subsides a bit the almond and vanilla take over. There are some white flowers in it as well, but they are overpowered by almond and vanilla. The drydown mostly consists of amber and vanilla. Although Hammam is not a gourmand, It is indulgently sweet throughout its development and probably better suited for colder months. As is the case with the other TdO fragrances, its longevity is unexpectedly good (6+ hours), with moderate sillage.

It is for sure a trip to deep India or Arabia...! Every time I wear it, Everyone asks me if it is me or their nose smells a sexy lady somewhere around..! I think this comment says it all! a pure feminine and so ladylike smell, that makes you want to wear it all the time, when you realise how confident suddemly it makes you feel! I believe it is more appropriate for night, cause it has a very dense smell, but I wear it all day long!

Haha! "Rear" precious oils was funny! Hammam comes in the long line of Tesori d'Oriente and you can find it at many drugstores and a few big supermarkets in Italy. This is not bad as a scent, but don't expect anything very complex. It's true it reminds of Cinema somehow but downscaled and I don't like Cinema. There is another one inspired by Argan oil (another rear oil?) in the same line and I think it smells better than this one.

so i sprayed this at the supermarket and it was a citrusy disaster (i’m a citrus hater so looking at the notes it makes sense) but i went home and sniffed my wrist again and to my surprise tbis is a beautiful fragrance. it’s soft and creamy and warm. it’s not something i would choose for myself but i would be more than happy if someone next to me smelled like this

This is a very nice cheapie. Warm, sweet, spicy, very pleasant indeed. I would love to try some more from this brand but they are difficult to find. Hammam does not smell cheap at all. It is a nice every day go to fragrance when you want to save your high end beauties for special moments or you just want to have a break from them.

Lovely for it's price! you wouldn't tell its a cheap one smelling it on someone. The start reminds me of Tom Ford neroli portofino, but the drydown is totally different...its really a bit similar to cinema as mentioned above

I agree a bit with all of the reviews before - a slight resemblence to `Cinema` without a skanky-putrid undertone; pleasantly spicy drydown, surprisingly long-lasting and excellent value. I`m a fan!

Creamy , Warm , Vanilla . I like it! First Tesori D'Oriente I try . Made me wanna smell more of them. P.S. The bottle distributed in Greece is much more beautiful than the one pictured here.
