Beautiful scent, lasts a while. Very classy and elegant. It can be masculine but leans more on the feminine side. I would recommend wearing to a wedding or special occasions, that’s how special I feel it is. It’s subtle and present all at the same time. Received so many compliments recently.

This fragrance sets the scene of a romantic night near the sea...the scent of sand, roses, wood all together in a soft cream and black pepper note. Incredible and luxurious scent.

Update: After observing it for a few days in different climates, to me, it definitely leans more on the masculine side. BTW, it lasts almost 12-18hrs. It opens with an eye weakening naturally fresh, crispy sharp pepper, but not any pepper. More of 'green bell peper'. I thought it would be disappointing, but its quite an intriguing pepper. I wasn't put off, and i wanted more. However, within the first 5 minutes or so that green sharpness starts to lessen in intensity, and I'm not sure if its the Pepper and Oris that begin to form a leathery note. Its a luxurious creamy soft nappa leather feel and the scent is definitely softened with the velvety rose petals (Cashmere) and sweetened with a hint vanilla but with the amber density. Nothing synthetic here. Its an alluring buttery rose floral (but not floral alone), deliciously aged woodsy, and soft musky spiced Oriental. To me, as a woman, I feel it leans slightly more masculine. Probably due to the peppery kick. I do like it a lot. It would be a "soft", playful scent for a man, and a bit deep "serious" scent for a woman. Its not flirty or playful for a woman. •Would I wear it? Sure. Where? An evening gala/serious event (not a fun charity event either), or important boardroom meeting with prospective investors. Not an everyday office fragrance. IMO its just too heavy. •Could I see my husband wearing it? Yes. Where? Anywhere really. Office, to play golf, etc. I really like this one, as with pretty much anything Thameen offers. However, Royal Sapphire is my easy go to. Hey, in a world filled with (yes gorgeous) MFK's BR540 (but a tad overdone) Thameen is a nice change of pace. ^__^

Very sophisticated oud/rose, with a touch of peppery spice to shift unisex, if slightly masculine. Strikes a very similar balance to ELdO’s 500 Years, though this one is a bit less sharp and easier to wear throughout the day. I know I know, they don’t mention oud ... but a rose oud by any other name, you know? I appreciate their integrity not to make false claims. as those other ouds are synthetic anyhow - or perhaps they’re just avoiding backlash to the note, seen as too sharp or challenging. Certainly this is smooth, posh, impressive and delightful, but the price is a bit high given all the other options.

A soft woody, musky rose. Earthy woods, dirty, loamy even, but not quite petrichor. Somewhat powdery courtesy of the black pepper, orris, and suede but it's all centered around that musky rose, like a dug-up flower bed. It picks up a modest vanillic sweetness as it dries down. Moderate projection fades over 2-3hr, longevity 16hr+. Has the characteristic sour, somewhat camphorous accord of oud in the opening despite oud not being an official note, but that fades after ~30 minutes.

Sophisticated but somewhat boring floral woody musk with high quality ingredients centered around a nice Turkish rose. The scent opens with notes of pepper, vanilla and orris butter before going into the rose heart. The perfume dries off to reveal notes of cedar, amber and synthetic musk. The unisex scent has moderate to strong sillage and good longevity. This has been done many times before and far more economically but it is still elegant and moody. Enjoy!

This does come across very dated. The Orris and Amber wrap the rose up into a powdery oud which feels very elegant if you were a lady of luxury in the 70s. My grandmother would have loved this.

Dirty leather and rose. That’s about it. Pretty stinky Overall- 4/10

A beautifully blended scent of spicy rose, with a discrete vanilla holding it, while the orris adds a powdery touch. Each note is played perfectly in this combination. I am not sure where the musk is in this scent, I do smell something synthetic that may be providing the clean musk note. This note reminds me of masculine Montale fragrances; fortunately, it is not overdone in this perfume.

A fresh sweet rose that's disrupted by a weird intense musk with some vanillic touches. Stays relatively linear. The musk used is quite interesting, but it's not for me, I don't like my rose with musk. Source: Official 2ml Sample Date of Purchase: 14/3/2025

Definitely oud satin mood vibes, a soft powdery rose, however there is much more leathery peppery masculine aspects to this rose. Leans masculine I would say. I have an official 2 ml sample for swap along with 175 other samples UK - get in touch!

Slightly bitter saffron with a supple suede-like tone and equally soft almond paste nuttiness. Dewy rose petals with a slight floral indole gives it an exciting, animalic edge. Leaning feminine. Elegant, soft but seems to pack a punch.
