Green Pearl

Green Pearl is a perfect mixture of woody, citrus, and green notes. It smells like a walk through an apple orchard after rainfall. It has one of the most realistic and juicy green apple notes I have ever smelled. The opening quite literally smells like someone just cut a freshly picked Granny Smith apple. The green apple is accompanied by bergamot and Mandarin orange notes, which definitely gives it a mouthwateringly-tangy quality. Even though this is listed as unisex, I find it as the more masculine version of DKNY Be Delicious. The dry-down is where things get really interesting, because the pepper and green notes mix with the citrus, which adds a spiciness to Green Pearl. The green tea note is what balances out these very strong scents. It adds a very slight, but appreciated bitterness that keeps the very prominent green apple note, from being overpowering. The artemisia and oakmoss add an undeniable warmth to it, and make it very clear that this scent falls under the aromatic-fougère category. The oakmoss is obviously very woody, but I find it on the stronger side, which is just as well because it doesn't allow the other notes to overshadow it. The longevity, sillage, and projection are all equal to each other, and are excellent. You will get a full work day of use out of it, and then some. It lasts even longer on clothing. Even after washing your clothes, don't be surprised if you can still smell it lingering under the detergent and fabric softener. This scent is a perfect signature scent for spring; daytime specifically. While I would say this is a safe office scent, it is quite powerful, so I would avoid anything other than 3-4 sprays, or it will be quite suffocating to those around you. The atomizer is also great, because you get a cloud of fragrance come out with just one spray.

Let’s start by saying that this perfume begins as a projection beast! But before we get to that, we have to talk about the scent... Green Pearl is all about Tea, a lot of Tea... you will also get Green Apple, which is delicious and tangy... it has some Bergamot, lemony and fresh... and finally, a very lovely Musk, not animalic, just creamy and delicious. The rest of the notes you won’t really get, but it doesn’t matter, this concoction is incredible just as it is!! It’s also very similar to other creamy tea/citrus perfumes, like Imagination and Météore from Louis Vuitton, and I find it especially similar to Mefisto Gentiluomo from Casamorati which also contains the same delicious musk. Now let’s talk about performance... projection is a beast for the first hour or so, it might even too much, so go easy on the trigger... after two hours projection decreases to moderate, longevity is around 5 hours, which is rather decent for a fresh perfume. In conclusion, this perfume has a delicious citrus tea aroma with a lovely creamy musk envelope. It has very good performance for a fresh scent and it is completely unisex. Another instant favorite!!

One of the most complex green and fruity fragrances that I have ever smelled, the combination of lush artemisia with mouth watering green apple is simply fascinating, tea-pepper-tonka trio flashes instantly through your soul, absolutely amazing, and the legendary oakmoss-musk combo in the heart notes let themselves notice even from the first second on of your first spray, they are practically there for the entire 8 hours if its monstrous longeivity, hence build the fundemantals of this complex green-floral earthy-mossy jewel of an olfactive artwork. A BIG APPLAUSE TO THAMEEN

Extremely beautiful and elegant cologne vibes. It takes me all the way to some green misty highlands. I think it's the much easier to wear (and cheaper) alternative to Clive Christian for Men. The drawback is that it's just slightly different from tons of other green/citrus fragrances out there, many of which cost a fraction of the price.

This is a beast mode SMW with a slight fruitiness. Quite green with a very prominent tea note. A bit watery but not much. Very well done citruses I love this fragrance. Great projection and may choke others out, don’t go to heavy on this. 6-7 hour longevity for me Magnetic cap and pressurized atomizer 😍😍😍😍

Very good scent, not nothing new or original persay but very well rounded without the harshness i get from a lot of designer fragrances I tend to try. I’d buy it even if it’s redundant with another option because it’s so much smoother. The green apple on my skin is very pronounced and I like it

One of my favorites in my collection. High quality scent that doesn’t smell synthetic. For a fresh summer & spring scent the performance is very nice, 7-9 hours with moderate projection and a solid trail. Smells like mefiso mixed with smw.

Really similar to Louis Vuitton's Météore with a fruity apple touch. Fantastic scent for spring/summer. You can't go wrong with this.

VERY similar to creed's silver mountain water

Leans a little masculine, I wouldn't exactly call it unisex. It has a great blast of apple at the very beginning that sadly fades almost immediately. I like the note, it's just too fleeting. Everything after that is pretty expected. I agree with comparisons to shower gel: it smells like a nice, pricier shower gel, but it's shower gel all the same. When it dries down, I find that musk is the most prominent note up close to the skin and bergamot is the most prominent note an arm's length away. Some of the notes that could really make this interesting (apple, artemisia, tea) really get lost in the shuffle. It comes off as more aquatic, less citrus. Sticks around strongly for an hour or two, but then backs way off; while it's technically still present a few hours after that, it's faint and I only catch whiffs. Inoffensive, pleasant, and versatile, but overpriced for what it is. 6.5/10.

Finally got a chance to sample this unicorn! Shout out to my buddy Ricky for the 10ml decant. I love this type of scent!! It's very "green" and fresh, just a touch of sweetness to soften it. It's honestly kinda hard for me to detect individual notes, it's a really well blended fragrance that smells every bit of its $150+ pricetag, although slightly unremarkable for such a price. Performance is mildly better than i expected; green scents like this can often suffer low longevity and sillage but i get about half a workday off 3 sprays. Not bad, i reapplied at lunch and was good to go for the rest of the day. To me personally, the only thing i could compare this to is Bond no 9's Gramercy Park, or even sorta/kinda Mugler Cologne. A great Summer fragrance. So glad i finally tried it, for me i would say this is bottle worthy. I'd give this 8 out of 10.

The most economical of the Thameen luxury line of fragrances is this unique and lush aromatic chypre. The perfume opens with notes of green apple, mandarin orange, bergamot and neroli. It transitions to a heart of artemisia, tea, pepper and green leaves. The perfume finally settles into a mossy powdery base of oakmoss, tonka bean and musk. The unisex perfume is beautifully blended with moderate sillage, projection and longevity. A unique and safe scent that is best suited for sultry weather. Enjoy!

Green Pearl is a beautiful fresh tea fragrance that leans more on the masculine side. I smell a very green scent, with tea, sweet apple, a bite of black pepper, and the fizz of both bergamot and neroli. Very refreshing. It's not uncomfortable to wear as a woman, but it does lean more towards the gents than I expected. I like that it's light and sweet, and doesn't turn sour from the citrus notes - it keeps you feeling bright and clean in the hot weather.

Nice fresh fragrance for the summer and meetings. No sharp opening, nice dry down. A very safe multi-purpose scent without having to overthink it. Percival might be a better summer scent, but you might not want to wear it to a meeting or certain situations. Aventus either. This is understated and smooth. Nice alternative to to the above and say a Miliseme Imperiale. High quality too.

Musk, Tonka, Bergamot, Tea. Backbone similar to Silver Mountain Water, CK One or JV Original. Linear, silliage moderate. For Office man, daily use. Not challanging. Rather generic. Overpriced.

Instantly reminded of Silver Mountain Water in the opening. However it quickly adopts a very similar green scent to JPG Paradise Garden. Need more time with this scent.

Nice, clean and slightly green. I get a lot of Xerjoff Mefisto with some slight green nuances, or a much higher quality version of CK One. I've owned both Mefisto and CK One, But i Do prefer Green Pearl over both, as Green Pearl is slightly less floral and more green then Mefisto, and are generally way better quality and smells a lot better then CK One. I don't get much of the tea or tonka. I get a lot of neroli, bergamot, pepper, and a clean musk. I don't get any tonka at all. I haven't tried all tea in the world, but i do drink a lot of high quality tea (not in tea bags. REAL tea). I don't recognise any specific tea note directly either. "Tea-like" maybe. But i'd put that under "green notes", not tea note. I don't have much else to say about this fragrance. It's a great scent. Beautiful, clean, fresh, soapy, and slightly green. But, it's also Very uninspiring. Which, makes it Very versatile, but also not sexy/alluring. For a workplace like an office, this will be perfect. And for meeting someone you know for lunch or a trip to the store and you want to smell fantastic, this will be excellent. But it has no character or personality. It's just a clean and fresh man/woman. If that's what you're looking for, then this is great. It's got decent longevity for it's style of fragrance. 6-8 hours is what i get. A couple of inches from the skin after around 3 hours, but still leaves a bit of a scent trail up to the 6-8 hour mark if you spray multiple areas (neck, collar bone, and wrists, for example). Spring and summer, casual, but can easily be worn in semi formal, even fully formal settings. Full suite or dress will make the elegant mix with the clean and fresh, and give you a serious and "mannered" aura. Daytime and work friendly fragrance. All ages and genders, but probably more popular with the 30+ crowd. Personal Score: 8/10. Not something i'd buy. But something i could wear without hesitation for work or general daily activities.

I tested this one a time ago in a store and really was quite expectant of it to be something really different and unique. It did smell nice but it was very unoriginal and developed into a profile I am use to on the cheaper ends of fragrances. I wasn't disappointed because I didn't buy it but I was upset with my experience because I was expecting something interesting from this brand. A fresh and cheap cologne smell that is going for hundreds more than what I feel is sensible for that quality of smell. I wasn't much of a fan of the inkiness of Creed's Silver Mountain Water because it was too sharp smelling and heavy in the really mercilessly hot days and this stands differently but now on the side of being too sharp and sweet for the heat.

Green Pearl is just okay. There is nothing wrong with it, but there is nothing unique or intriguing about it either. It’s a very safe citrus summer fragrance. I don’t pick up any of the pepper notes, but I get a very light white floral in the background. The tea note is present, but only really supports the citrus. The dry down down is a musky vanilla/tonka finish. Projection and longevity is moderate. Again, this fragrance is fine and I don’t think anyone could find it offensive, but for the money you can do better. I rate it 6/10.

Tea is a difficult note to pull off and needs to be handled with ease and delicacy. Many fail by oversaturating compositions with an overload of florals and aroma-chemicals. Here we have a cross of Silver Mountain Water and Citrus Riviera, and to my nose, just as refined as both of them. But even though the opening and mid are gorgeous, the scent eventually becomes a bit bland, dull, uninspiring, and even begins to lean feminine. The end result is unimpressive.

I love green perfumes. I love tea perfumes. Unfortunately for me Green Pearl is holding court in the middle of the road. And it’s a green tea powder scent that fades fast, within 45 minutes. If I’m going to spend my money on a cheap thrill, I’d go with so many others, even the classic Elizabeth Arden Green Tea is a better option.

I find it to be rather soapy, and not outstanding enough for a Thameen. Imagine an apple and citrus handwash, but with a twist of green tea & pepper at the backend. Don't get me a wrong, it's not a bad perfume or a perfume with a negative review. It's just that this blend won't go far into people's sweet memory banks.

I bought this one as a "niche" version of CK One. While it was fresh during cold months, it started to be a masculine leaning scent during spring. It became too masculine for my taste and I cannot remove this association from my olfactory memory, unfortunately.

Reminds me a lot of Brioni Intense with an overall very familiar generic profile that reminds me of many modern men’s fragrances; with a peppery apple bomb dna. Nothing unique.

Lovely fresh scent but performance is incredibly poor. Found it hard to pickup even as a skin scent after an hour. Such a shame as has real potential.

This is an easygoing green & citrus scent that can be worn anytime. Overall I enjoyed it, its just kinda forgettable like this review.

A nice perfume but very male leaning

Blind buyer’sreview. Three days tested. The weather has been ranging from 85 - 93 degrees high. Here GOES: Off the top, the apple + bergamot notes gives me a designer fragrance vibe. It’s not very natural smelling. There are definitely synthetics in this not that there’s anything wrong w/ synthetics. It’s just not that unique. However, as the “Green Pearl “ dries down the niche quality comes out just a little but it’s no BYREDO BAL D’AFRIQUE. :-/ I do start to pick up these bright nuances! Fresh & Fun yet Mature! It’s unisex but leans masculine just like Bleu de Chanel. Overall it’s a no for me and my skin. The note combination seems like a winner but the uniquenes is a 2 out of 10. The performance on my skin is a ZERO. Listen, I want to love everything I spend my hard earned money on but sadly it doesn’t always work out that way.

If you've set your sights on mediocrity on a "prestiche" level, look no further than Green Pearl. It's gratingly fruity, with a green apple Jolly Rancher accord that will take you right back to fifth grade recess; a wan, feeble notion of verdancy that Creed made famous in Silver Mountain Water; and—you guessed it, uneventful laundry musks in its dry down. All of this can be yours for the price of (for fuck's sake) 175 US dollars for 50ml. This seriously smells like something a lughead would pick up at Target to spray and go after deadlifts and a shower at LA Fitness.

Smells good but nothing with "wow" factor, i see similarities with Silver Mountain Water, but to me SMW was like apple shampoo stuffed into a glass bottle for $200, but Green Pearl is more refined, more like apple hand soap stuffed into a bottle and pumped out for $115. Safe, clean, nothing unique but solid, will not buy. edit: ok maybe i will buy. lovely and clean and simple, performance sucks tho

Like many have said, if your nose picks up a few of these notes more than others, it becomes a very “cat piss” kind of smell. Similar to Silver mountain water. You may not be sensitive to those notes, in which case this might be a good fragrance for you, but there are so many others to choose from that still get you a citrus/green combo, like Xerjoff Nio.

my sample was nice and i was itching to buy so i bought the 50ml, the liquid in the bottle i received was slightly different from the sample i remember, more screechy and sharp and not super smooth, smells like a boys body spray or soap. overly synthetic, this brand is mediocre for what it is and just cheap.

I have literally never said this about a perfume before. but this shit is rancid, I straight up smells like autobahn toilets you know the perfume they spray tons of so you can't smell the pee.

All the perfumes in this line have a high school locker room, axe body spray vibe to them. Very cheap.

Green Pearl is a very green fragrance that has that shower gel / air freshener type cleanliness to it. More masculine than unisex. It falls somewhere between YSL Y EDP (good price) and LV Meteore (overpriced) but comes across as very 'basic'. If you like Y EDP, you'll like this, but why pay so much more for a fragrance that smells so similar and achieves the same scent profile? Smells of high quality, but very unoriginal and somewhat unnecessary, unless you only want to own Thameen and you want this scent profile so you have to buy Green Pearl instead of Y EDP or Meteore.

I don't know about you but I find it pointless buying expensive shower gel. The scent is gone from your skin the second you leave the bathroom. However if you want your skin to smell like shower gel all day then wear this. Quite linear and generic but just enough in it to suggest it is more expensive than the others. I do find it a frustrating wear though. I keep wanting more from it and it never arrives. Maybe a bit more roundness and less sharp neroli. Not sure when I'd ever reach for it. Wearing it just feels like a waisted opportunity that you could be wearing something else. Im playing Padel later maybe I'd just wear it for that. Even then im worried it will annoy me.

Sharp citruses, pith, peel and everything, along with an equally sharp 90's aquatic tone to it. Vetiver, sporty soapiness and geranium. One of those macho, forcedly green, über 'fresh' fragrances. If I didn't know this was from a niche house, I would've never considered it to be. And sure, it's pleasant enough but who is honestly impressed by stuff like this 20-30 years after the genre has been milked to death? If you're after an uncomplicated fragrance for a hot day to just vibe in without having to think, go for it!

#1 seller by Thameen in a popular Miami niche perfumery. price to performance issue, but if you're into niche this fragrance is uplifting. buy a decant, and I believe you'll be pleasantly surprised. better than the compared to Citrus Riviera imo. I didn't originally believe Green Pearl smelled like CK1 in the opening, but it truly does, although Green Pearl is a lot more refined.

Tried this one in the store and thought it was just ok, nothing mind blowing. However, the next day my room smelled amazing like green tea and apple and it was Green Pearl. This is truly underrated, it gets better as it sits on the skin and becomes a bit soapy and dry. In the summertime this one would be amazing. 🤓 Need this in my collection !

To my nose at least this isn't as citrus as the recommended "smells like" section would have you believe. For sure it has citruses but there's also something else in the background that is just as upfront. It's like mefisto meets Mancera's Sand Aoud. Weird mixture that somehow works.

I seldom agree with the 'reminds me of' but this actually does remind me of CK One. Not so much when you smell it very close up but the sillage absolutely does. Up close it reminds me of a worse smelling interpretation of Dior Thé Cachemire. Just okay in my opinion.

I revisited this scent today. It's a big no. Too soapy. I'd still claim Green Pearl is a high end CK1 and similar to SMW, but Arabiyat Prestige makes a better similar juice of SMW. For some reason, I'm not getting the spearmint vibe I used to enjoy with Green Pearl.

Mid to dry down reminds me so much of Chanel’s Allure Homme Sport. Performs excellently. Opens more green and juicy. Can understand comparisons to 212 Men but they veer off into two different directions. This low key a solid designer-ish all rounder scent.

I just blind bought this is and it did not meet my expectations, I bought this for 155 and it smells cheap and exactly like CK one just more better quality ( not worth it at all ) smells like green bubbles to be honest.

Oh my, this is an absolute Beauty! Super fresh air smell with the most fresh apple smell you could imagine! This is bottle worthy for me! Very easy to wear and can imagine it would be a compliment getter! 9/10

Silver mountain water with apple. If you have had SMW you will get irritated with the ink note after a while this is the alternative. If you get a discounted bottle then go for it perfect for the summer 🍏🏔️
