Peregrina

Peregrina by Thameen London is very very nice. I personally love it and am very happy to have added it to my collection. Yes, it is very much on the Oriental side of the spectrum but it is sooooo well blended and I smell the sweetness as much as I smell the florals. I smell the amber as much as I smell the musks. This is balanced and done with a touch of opulence (look at that bottle) and classy-ness. Longevity: 8 hours + Projection/Sillage: beast (on my skin) so I have to spray once, no more (for fear of killing others around me). Price: yeah... it’s pricy... ... ... It sort of reminds me of M Micallef Mon Parfum Cristal and Kayali Sweet Diamond Pink Pepper but they are not dupes of each other at all. They just share the same notes. Peregrina smells more deep, dark, sweet (caramel/vanilla) than the other two I mentioned. I personally think it is a Winter months scent because it is so deep and strong but that’s my take on this. As I continue to experience this wonderful fragrance, I find that there’s a slight tinge of darkness to it...by no means do I find it bad (I love a bit of darkness to my perfumes) and I definitely wouldn’t wear this in the Summer months. It smells like there might be Oud in it though it isn’t in the perfume’s notes...I don’t know, I guess we all perceive scents quite differently one from another... Personally, I love it. I picture a modern Arabian beauty wearing this and her trail just hypnotizes everyone...

I’ve been looking for a rose perfume that hits the sweet spot of easy wearability for a long time, and it wasn’t until I tried Peregrina that I knew I’d found it. During my search I had the pleasure of trying and owning many beautiful rose perfumes, most of which I sold on because I realized that though beautiful I wouldn’t get much wear from them. Hermann à mes Côtés was a bit too abstract. Rose Tonnerre a bit too earthy. The absolute queen, Rose d’Arabie, too dramatic. Young Rose, a bit too lemony. Or thin. I’m not sure. But anyway, as much as I loved those, owning a full bottle didn’t make sense as I wasn’t going to use it that often. And then along comes Peregrina, the Goldilocks of rose perfumes. For me. Peregrina is a beautiful sweet rose on a caramelly amber base that is utterly predictable, linear, and very easy to wear. It smells the same from the moment it leaves the bottle til 8 hours later when it begins to fade off the skin. Like most rose fragrances, it has a persistent projection and sillage, but in this case there’s nothing at all challenging for most noses that will come into contact with it. If I would say anything negative, it might be that Peregrina is thoroughly sweet. For some people that might make it seem too feminine etc. Not for me. I love it. For me, it’s the most easy reach of Rose perfumes and deserves its full bottle status in my collection.

I don’t think I have words for how much I love this.. I heard that it gave the vibe of Oud Satin Mood and that’s all I really needed to sell me on this. The two aren’t by any means so similar that you can’t own both in fact they are quite different but there is something powdery but deep and sensual about both fragrances that do give them the same vibe however Oud Satin Mood is still a beast mode powerhouse that is both unique and insanely powerful. This doesn’t last as long and it’s more of a jammy sweet rose drizzled in caramel but that powdery mysterious edge really makes this something damn near magical. Most will say this isn’t for summer but i’m so obsessed I would wear this anytime of year. I don’t think it’s work appropriate because it has such a sensual sexy edge to it but if you want attention and people leaning into your bubble intoxicated by your scent trail then by all means wear it. For me though I love wearing it to bed or on date nights. I have so many fragrances that it’s hard to give them all attention and for a while this one has had me in a chokehold choosing it over and over again. This is one you do not have to overspray and i recommend you don’t because you will choke someone out. Less is more but no worries it projects like a dream.

Peregrina is a very popular scent in the community and a beautiful rose scent. Very well balanced and composed but nothing groundbreaking! It is a classic example of a floral bouquet (fresh rose, white and yellow flowers) mixed with sweet amber, myrrh, caramel, vanilla and powder. It’s a very well crafted and beautifully blended and with high quality ingredients. But it is also very expensive. I understand that Thameen is a luxury brand but I feel personally that I can get the same kind of fragrance for less money from other brands, designer or lower priced niche. So I will finish my decant and move on. I would be happy to get a bottle of this as a gift and I would wear it often but it is out of my budget for now! Performance wise, it is not outstanding. It’s a moderate performer like most of the other rose centric scents on the market! Even the new Tom Ford release, Cafe Rose, which is also a beautifully done rose scent, seems cheap compared to this, at about half of the price for the 100 ml bottle.

I just got a sample of this and have been wearing it for the past two days . I am in love with this. It has a woody and rose dry down which I just love. This will be my scent everyday for Fall and Winter. Longevity is amazing. The first night I got this sample I sprayed it on my shirt before I went to bed. The next night I could still smell it on my sheets from the night before. Projection is at arms length for the first five hours and then becomes closer on the skin but not to where it can’t be smelt. I love the fact that they sell the matching lotion in this scent to make the scent be even stronger. I am thankful this perfume projects and is long lasting as it seems like it’s getting harder to find perfumes to last anymore. Also, this scent is totally unisex in my opinion but does lean slightly more feminine to me.

A complex and interesting scent. So much so that I'm not really sure what I'm smelling. It smells sweet, powdery, floral, all at the same time. It's one of the only fragrances that seems to capture all its notes while not allowing them to standout or compete with one another. I do have to say though, because none of the notes stand out, if you're looking for a specific smell out of this fragrance, you might not find it. I bought it for the "rose" note, and I smell no rose. It's a "vibe" fragrance than a "smell" fragrance, if that makes sense. To my nose, this does not smell anything like Oud Satin Mood. OSM has a distinct incense vibe, but Peregrina is much more floral even in the dry down. I'm thankful that this doesn't smell like anything else I own. A standout in its own rights.

This was almost a blind buy, I smelt it once in store on a paper strip and loved it but forgot to test on skin! I found it online for a good price so had to buy it. It turned out to be a successful purchase thankfully and arrived today. On my skin this reminds me of sweet diamond pink pepper. They both have rose, amber, vanlla and musk. But peregrina has the additional note of the caramel which makes it addictive. I wouldn't say this is a gourmand fragrance - it is more of a sweet floral, powdery and musky scent. I really like this and I feel it can be worn day or night and for any season. Feminine leaning. Would highly recommend it! update: this also gives similar vibes to Cafe rose which I also love and is my signature scent

I tested this fragrance, and decided I would buy a bottle back in November. Just getting around to some input. Starts with blast of floral, mostly a juicy rose.. ROSE dominant scent. This scent sings in the middle and dry down, when some sweetness steps forward with notes of amber, vanilla, a hint of creamy caramel. That juicy floral rose stays with warm notes, and hints at a being a bit of an oriental with other white florals the resinous myrrh. I really like!! Seems to be more suited for night and cooler temps - at least on me...prolly the myrrh? Lasts quite a long time, seems to project quite a bit as well with just a couple sprays. There are no woods, no patchouli, and does not smell designer, it's very beautiful.

At first I tested this on a strip and thought it was nice but quickly dismissed it. After a couple of months, I was walking by the same store and tried it on my skin, and OMG I fell in love. This is a refined, sophisticated, feminine perfume that is decadent and rosy yet smooth and somehow airy. The main notes I get are rose and caramel and all the others come to support these main players. This has become my go-to fragrance for all occasions although I have an ever growing collection. If you love gourmand-ish fragrances and rose fragrances, you need to try this one. Side note: this is not similar to Delina, but I feel if you like Delina especially the Exclusif, you might enjoy Peregrina.

Peregrina is a stunner! Full of all my favourite things it's a good candidate for my top ten (out of hundreds). Inspired by the world's most famous pearl - I think the pearl at the centre of this is jasmine. It isn't a "white floral" though - it's ambery and musky and powdery and rosey. There's a touch of caramelly gourmand and of spice although spice is not listed in notes. I can see this being appreciated by fans of many different genres and rather than being a cacophony, all the notes blend as if made for each other. Truly beautiful.

Wow! I am blown away by how delicious and well-rounded this scent is. The rose and caramel stand out most on my skin, but the other notes blend harmoniously to compliment and enrich them. To me, this perfume would best suit a modern, professional, friendly woman in her mid 20's - late 30's. I think this would be a great day/night scent year round (although I could see it being a bit cloying in summertime). Office and event friendly. I'm getting a FB and may even transition it to my signature scent. Absolutely love!!!

Beautiful. So glad I found this. A beautiful oriental floral gourmand with an incense dry down from the myrrh. The white florals are initially prominent and the rose takes a back seat. As it develops on my skin, the ylang ylang gives this a floral sweetness and stops the food notes overpowering the fragrance. After thirty minutes I’m really experiencing the warmth of the amber and the myrrh and sweetness. This has been blended beautifully. It’s my first experience with Thameen and I am eager to try some more ❤️

Delicious, creamy floral caramel. A rose-heavy bouquet of airy flowers dripping in caramel, grounded by a soft powdery amber base. Rather sweet but not too light, not too dense, solid balance of other floral notes. All the sweetness goes away in the deep drydown, however, leaving behind only a musky rose skin scent. Strong projection for 3-4hr, longevity 10-12hr. Much more than just rose, yet it clearly stands out from the crowd. Kinda makes me think of a more complex Loumari Almeria.

If I didn't have so many rose fragrances this would top my wishlist! It is a stunning sweet rose - I was afraid of the caramel note, but here it is blended so smoothly, it doesn't smell sharp or too sugary. It is so beautiful - reminds me of a turkish delight, but it isn't powdery. I don't get sharp amber from the notes either. The whole fragrance is blended to perfection. LOVE! I get the comparisson to Roses Vanille but this one doesn't have the artificial Mancera chemistry

Sensual and mature. Not old person mature, but someone who has it together. It’s sweet, powdery, resinous, and jammy. I do agree with @lydiamae, there is a petrol/gasoline or even petroleum jelly undertone somewhere in the background that carries through the entirety of the fragrance. But yet there’s just something very alluring and suggestive about it. I’m unsure about it but I would like to take this fragrance for a spin during a special occasion and see if it turns heads.

Such a shape shifting scent. Sometimes I get more ambered almost saffron-like touches, at others it’s a gorgeous floral with a sweet powdered finish. It always differs. I appreciate it in all its guises but feel it best suits cooler climates. After sampling extensively I’ve just bought a full bottle and look forward to wearing her into spring and then bringing her back after the summer Radiates beautifully and leaves a stunning trail. Long lasting as well.

Love at first sniff and on my 3rd bottle. I don’t see the resemblance to MFK Satin Mood. I get strong notes of rose, amber, caramel, musk - which I adore. Smells like a rich beautiful Arabic lady to me. It’s a feminine, rich, gourmand, soft powder beautiful scent. Im addicted! Best worn in the colder months and it’s one of my perfumes I’ve had the best longevity and silliage with. Thameen London isn’t spoken about enough, it deserves its flowers.

Peregrina is truly stunning. The flowers lift the scent so it’s not too sweet but it also manages to be soft and warm in an adult way. My boyfriend wants to drag me straight into the bedroom whenever I wear this, so that’s something to think about if you’re looking to seduce someone;) (or not) It doesn’t last very long on my skin (3 hours, tops), but I don’t even care, it’s so beautiful.

What a joyful fragrance! Caramel, Rose and Myrrh, beautifully blended. For some reason the Rose note reminds me of Tom Ford‘s Noir de Noir, which I adore as well. This is a beautiful, safe scent for a special evening, pretty much what you would expect from the pyramid. It does not change a lot during the weartime, once it settles it is pretty consistent.

This is the first perfume I've smelled in the first minute and decided I need to buy a full bottle immediately!! Soft, smooth and elegant. Cannot stop smelling myself. Wasn't sure initially if I'd like the powder note in there because I don't like powdery scents... But it's so well blended I can even appreciate the light powderiness in this one.

I love her! Middle notes dominate on my skin with some powder. Im a fan of amber and vanilla notes, plus the caramel really turns it to a gourmand that makes my mouth water haha. The rose note is also prominent, reminds me a bit of Dusita's Rosarine, which is not sweet, rather a mild- rosy gourmand with some raspberry.

Love that dry down about 15 to 20 minutes in. Not my usual preference of notes and it’s a bit feminine leaning for my taste though I usually don’t mind. But the caramel note in this blows my mind. This is more wearable for me than fenty. It’s incredibly sexy and elegant. I love it.

This is a very sophisticated scent. It’s a powdery rose that lies within the same vein as Oud Satin Mood, but brighter and sweeter. This is the definition of a “special occasion” fragrance - it’s very refined and meant for an elegant lady. The perfect resinous, powdery, sweet rose.

A very pleasant and easy to wear fragrance. Reminds me of Delina Exclusif and Frammenti with almost a bit of a lychee like note but it is smooth and not overpowering. It smells really good quality and doesn’t give me a headache like some others in this style. Very addictive! 😍🤤

My take is that this is a beautiful rose it lasts but in skin who ever said this is beastly not really, read a comparison to oud satin mood he’ll na not even the caramel gives it a slight sweetness it’s intoxicating to smell it’s creamy beautiful elegant not mature at all

So I'm only working with a small sample I received with another order but I LOVE this. It's as if Delox and Atomic Rose had a more elegant cousin. She's not too sweet, not too strong, powder rose perfection and I think I need her even though I have the other two.

So feminine, so timeless, a little vintage even. It has a Middle Eastern touch to it. Smells like something out of those classic movies. One of my favourites. its light but it projects. The longevity is excellent and I get a lot of compliments wearing this.

Let me just say this is a beautiful captivating scent. I have nothing in my collection that smells like this. Fresh, airy and at the same time warm. I honestly got 8 compliments in one day. All admired how I smelled. I give this one 10 out of 10.

Such a lovely, sophisticated juice. The perfume itself does not transform from the opening till the dry down, making it really great for all seasons and occasions imo. I get a bit of creaminess in this, its warm, sweet, but not juvenile. I love.

On paper, I get rose, caramel and amber. However, get a big dose of Oud the moment Peregrina hits my skin, and it’s definitely a Middle Eastern vibe on me. After about 30 minutes it blends in for a beautiful wearing experience.

A jammy rose dipped in caramel with a hint of dark chocolate touch, sweet but not cloying, lingering on skin for almost 8 hours. It's a good combination of rose and gourmand scent that both men and women can enjoy.

Dense, chewy, gormound rose. Sweet and a little tart without being sharp. This feels emotional and dramatic. Like grand gestures and make-up cuddles. Emotionally evocative but still extremely wearable.

Opening kind of reminded me the scent of cracking open a light lager beer . Then it fades into a rosy , ambery slightly oud scent . It’s quite nice ! Like another person said, Oud Satin Mood vibes

For me it smells like fig or even grape juice... I don’t know it’s just something about it that is very juicy, cocktail like fruity-Barry and at the same time all the real ingredients make sense.

This is sophistication in a bottle, beautiful rose and florals - super elegant and to me its more feminine. I love it. Leaves a scent trail too..

This reminds me of pink musk sticks. I don’t get any florals. Its pretty but not at all what I expected.

Ravishing addictive fragrance.

Testing blind I got rose with a musky and hintly dusty background with sweetness and floral up top. It has a nice casual elegance without being too big on the "you wore the wrong outfit to this soiree" and while not young or old feeling it suggests going out over board room or water cooler banal conversations. Looking at the notes I thought the sweetness would be something natural, not caramel, and I don't really get a caramel type of sweetness here. While the myrrh acts as a sort of behind the scene stage hand, supporting without really being noticed, and that is fine. It's a darker leaning rose which does lean feminine (mostly because the other floral notes). I could smell this easily throughout the day and it was pretty consistent, having good longevity and strong projection. Overall, I like the approach but have stronger romantic feelings for others that are even more darker, and less feminine.

I don’t get the comparisons to Delina Exclusif, it doesn’t smell the same at all to me. DE was also a kind of “zesty” sweet rose but the notes did not agree with each other. There was this ever-present screechy almost minty thread in DE. With this, I get a nice deep, smooth, warm rose and caramel. If you breathe in too deeply, you get a whiff of some unpleasant herbaceous floral but I don’t smell it regularly. I love a fragrance that does justice to its caramel note. ✨ But the biggest reason I love this is because it smells like my mom*. And she never purchased a niche fragrance a day in her life so I know I can get this scent profile cheaper with a different brand. *I don’t know the names of most of the perfumes she used to wear but I know she liked Calvin Klein, Rainbow and Dots 🥹 (the clothing store ) scents, BBW, and VS. On a mission to find it.

This is my first Thameen. A very sophisticated uber-rose-fragrance. I smell many different notes at the same time. Rose, powder, something fresh, amber, myrrh... vanilla and caramel... I'm getting boozy, beer-like nuances from this scent. Not bad, but it comes to mind every time. All in all, it is very classy, dark, intoxicating and seductive. I read the comments; I also have Delina Exclusif. I cannot imagine comparing them. They are two very different kinds of perfume. Delina would be Princess Leia and Peregrina would be Asajj Ventress if we were to imagine them in a Star Wars universe. Tag(s): ambery-rose, sweet but classy, myrrh, jammy, boozy

Feminine, fruity, sweet and delicious rose oud. A bit flirtatious but remains sophisticated. It reminds me of Sweet Rose by Rosendo Mateu but less harsh - more smooth and soft, and a bit lighter. AND this stays similar from first spray through dry down instead of becoming something unpleasant - which often happens to me with rose ouds. This could be versatile seasons-wise - but it is warm and gourmand and I would find it cloying in warm weather. Would make a great "wedding guest" perfume. I appreciate this fragrance for it's lovely feminine qualities, but it is the kind I don't gravitate to on a regular basis (I prefer fresher fragrances).

Beautiful sweet woody amber floral, if you enjoy fragrances like Oud Bouquet, you will love this one too. It definitely has a designer vibe about it and should be very easy liked and complimented. Fragrance is dense so best suited for colder weather. I personally wasnt too intrigued with initial spray, to me its all in the dry down on the skin. Its a very feminine fragrance, projection and performance overall is very good. If you have and enjoy Oud Bouquet / Mon Parfum Cristal this might be worth testing out. Its more woody, a bit Ambery compare to other 2.

I've been giving perfumes in my "give away" pile another try since the weather in Houston has finally gotten cooler. Peregrina was one. I didn't care for it when the weather was hot, but it's now an intriguing fragrance. Reading the notes did not prepare me for the experience that I got. It's a very soft, smokey, perfumey rose that transforms from beginning to end. I like that no note is overwhelming, so the smokey aspect isn't heavy. It's just an easy wearing, easy reach, pretty fragrance.

Surprisingly soapy rose. It reminds me of a rose flavored Turkish delight (which does taste a bit like soap lol). It's a strange perfume for me – this particular rose profile combined with the caramel is just a little odd. I think I love the amber note, though, it's very smooth and doesn't go too dark. It smells a little more mature than I expected from the frequent comparisons to Lettre de Pushkar.

Tested: this is a mix between Lolita lempicka and roses vanille from Mancera, truly! Very sweet and flowery. Dislike rating 2/10 I think most people will enjoy this frag, although it is very sweet. If you like warm and deep (not sweet) fragrances than do not blind buy this. If you like roses vanille for example, or Lolita has been your signature scent for a while; try this gem

You cant tell me there's not pachouli in here. It sticks out pretty prominantly to my nose and is the one thing that disturbs me about this fragrance. I may part with my full bottle - still unsure. Edit: I go back and forth with this one. Sometimes its a hard no then other times I am craving it. I think its more a seasonal wear for me as I seem to reach for it on cooler days.

Blind bought this and am not impressed. It actually smells very designer and not so niche. Reminds me of something that my sister, aunt, or mother would wear, very feminine. I do not find it sweet but very floral on my skin. Nothing really unique amongst the rose fragrances that I have smelt or bought. Thank goodness it was on sale! Gifting it to my sister for Christmas.
