The Black Carnation

Sweet pistachio with a great performance: This fragrance is not talked about much. I did blind but it at a discounted price. The scent itself is very nice, appealing: opens with a very unique salted pistachio note with fresh citruses, then it dries down to white florals with vanilla and a very faint clean suede accord. performance is very good: projected well for the first 3 hours and created a good bubble around me all d ay at work The bottle design is very slick with a magnetic cap I think it is a very good perfume if you can get it at a discounted price. I rate it as 8/10 overall

This just might be my fave from Thameen. My goodness this is good! Creamy smooth velvet bedding lined with some nutty, biscuity faucets and sandlewood, with a topping of carnation and ylang ylang. Its almost gourmand but not at the same time😅

There’s a sweet nuttiness and dry tobacco vibe in the opening that lingers for the first hour, and you are also hit with creamy suede and vanilla. After it dries out some more the sweetness amps up and you get some florals - but unusual florals, smells almost like dried, dare I say dead, flowers. The floral note is super dry. The creamy suede is the dominant note here. It’s a perfect leather scent for those who hate leather. I also pick up on a faint orris buttery touch in here. This is a very unique scent which I think is perfectly unisex, slightly more feminine. Perfect for colder weather.

This is absolutely beautiful, it’s so smooth and creamy, initially I get the sweetness of the carnation then creamy Ylang and vanilla, I also feel the suede and sandal wood in the dry down, these are the most prominent notes on my skin, it is luxurious. This was a blind buy and I am so glad I took a chance on it, one of my favourites from Thameen

Carnation, suede, ylang and vanilla - heady, sultry, seductive combo, leaning vintage. Like an 80s power house scent but cleaner. Kind of reserved, yet dark, gives me same impression as Agent provocateur Maitresse, a naughty powdery scent. I really like the softness of suede in here.
