Blackberry Lily

Oh wow, this hits nice: sweet, lightly-powdered, tart, blackberry rose and geranium jam. The lily is trying to peek through, but I'm honestly not getting a lot of white florals around the bright red ones and juicy, dark berries. Hmm. No caramel either. Not mad about that. Gosh, that geranium accord is pretty. The notes I am catching complement each other so well. The dry down is nothing groundbreaking but likeable. It's a fairly linear scent with the top gradually fading but not entirely vanishing. (Though, I'm 16+ hours out and it seems to survive almost totally intact on fabric.) I was worried about the base notes taking over as other reviewers have mentioned — especially that patchouli, not a fan — but it seems to be behaving on my skin. It's just a faint, nondescript, woodsy-sweet amber now. This could be an everyday scent for an energetic, young professional. It's surprisingly uplifting and pleasant. I always expect niche house offerings to underperform, but this is genuinely good. Well-blended. Well-done.

So this smells mostly like Lily and blackberry patchouli with some caramel and I'm obsessed. It smells like a much more blackberry cousin of Miss Dior edt. As it dries down it also reminds me a bit of Gold Couture with the berry/caramel combo. It develops to have a slight creamy amber and more of the rose floral comes out. It also has the slightest kick of spicyness, I'm suprised pink peppercorn isn't a note. It has a complexity yet fresh quality that makes it perfectly suited for millennial aged and I love it during the fall. Edit As of September 23 this is discontinued which is a huge shame. This is honestly one of their best scents. The owner said they have a new fruity gourmand coming out so they took this one out. They're releasing a new cherry scent so they're obviously jumping on the what was popular last year bandwagon. Such a shame

This Blackberry Lilly fragrance is being discontinued as I write this review. I managed to get 2 of the travel sprays, and I'm glad I did. I've learned my lesson. I waited too long to buy another favorite deeply discounted and discontinued by the brand. Blackberry Lilly is a complex fruity floral with earthy elements, and it lasts and projects well on me. It feels more unique and inspired than some of their newer releases (although good), which tend to be similar to trending fragrances and brands (Santal Vanille, Cherry Ambition, Amber Vanilla). The 7 Virtues have, in my opinion, made stellar fragrances, with clean ingredients and promote an ethical mission. That said I'm not happy about this fast-fashion trend-forward strategy they are leaning into.

I am BEYOND THRILLED to have found this deliciously intoxicating fragrance!!! I found it a few days before Christmas & couldn't justify spending money on myself. Fortunately I am married to the most amazing, wonderful man, & he surprised me with a large bottle for Christmas. Victoria's Secret used to have a perfume called "Victoria" in a blue & gold bottle 30 years ago that smelled very much like Blackberry Lily. When it was discontinued I was heartbroken, & I haven't been able to find anything comparable since. UNTIL NOW. This is the closest scent that I have ever found that reminds me of Victoria. Please don't ever stop making this! (But I will purchase a bottle every pay-day to build up a reserve so I never have to go without again.)

I want to start by saying that I am not the biggest vetiver fan, but this fragrances may have changed my mind! From the first spray there was a vetiver that was mixed so nicely with the tart fruitiness of the blackberry that it really smelled like I had just been around some foliage. I am a gourmand lover and this scent is not very obviously sweet to me with the usual notes of vanilla or marshmallow, but it is a realistic berry sweetness you get when you smell blackberries. I am so in love with it. There’s really such a wonderful mix florals as well that join in as it dries down. The lily smells soft and adds such a nice balance to the realistic tart berry. I really feel this one if perfect for everyday use and is not offensive to most!

This scent is amazing. I absolutely fell in love with the first time I found it. It’s not your average fruity gourmand. There’s something much deeper and more intricate to this. It may be the base notes. The patchouli and cedar add some real sophistication. I also detect the rose and love it with all the other notes. The blackberry and currant are just enough for a sweet and sour effect that is Devine. It’s not a super strong perfume—which I really prefer these days. It’s not at all overwhelming; it’s versatile enough for the office or date night. It last a good 7-8 hours on me. I love that this is a clean fragrance. I’ll be coming back for more of this. I grab this so often...it’s becoming a signature and forever staple.

Juicy, sweet blackberry, but not sweet in a sugary-vanilla way, sweet like natural fruit. Kind of like if you were eating super ripe blackberries near a bouquet of lilies. Slight lily/white floral after a couple hours but it's very faint. Not too complex - it is what it's named! This stuff smells delicious and is honestly one of my favorite scents, but the beautiful blackberry is only there for about 2-3 hours, and then a light white floral for about an hour. It also is intimate to moderate projection (but only moderate for maybe the first hour). For that reason I find it overpriced. By the way, I typically like sweet perfumes and berry scents but do NOT like them with patchouli, but I can't smell the patchouli in this.

I'm shocked that I love this perfume as much as I do. I think its because its highly feminine, but has a distinct masculine spine on my skin. The blackberry is sweet and ripe -- juicy. The lily is strong without being overpowering. And the patchouli & cedar give it a backbone that feels strong and capable to me. Juicy, sweet, ripe, round... yet also mysterious, capable, bold. I (F, 41) typically go for unisex perfumes -- I would call this one pretty highly femme. So femme I wouldn't normally enjoy it at all, but because of the backbone, it really works. It's a go-to for me.

I absolutely love this perfume! Strangely to me it smells absolutely nothing like blackberries OR lilies (okay, maybe it does smell a bit like a berry ice cream?), so I'm not sure why the name, but it's an almost gourmand sweet fragrance without being remotely cloying that is totally unique. It is warm, rich and slightly spicy. I don't have any other fragrances like it. It starts out strong and mellows out into something truly beautiful. I always get compliments on this and have been in love with it since first sniff.

I instantly loved this on first smell. It brings back all the fruity floral goodness of being a 20 year old in 2008. The carefree nature of youth overlaying the ominous unknown of the recession, and the moodiness of a goth girl you can take out of the fishnets, but you can't take the goth out of the girl. This girl wore daily libations of Rock'n' Rose from the Church of Valentino, and if you want to visit this historic place with me, combine it with Rose Amber, or any warm rose scent. You're welcome.

gifted to me by my sibling, i'm clinging onto the last 3rd of this bottle since it's been discontinued. love this one for when i'm feeling feminine - fresh and fruity and probably one of the sweetest perfumes i own, but i don't find it sickly-sweet. favorite memory while wearing it was getting a genuine and heartfelt compliment from a VERY drunk girl while we were waiting for cuban food at 1:00 AM.

This is an older more educated and cool sister of Vera Wang Princess. Totally reminiscent of it when it dries down. Blackberry goes away after the initial fry down and leaves an amber gourmand smell. Where can I buy another one it’s no longer on Sephora.

I’m heartbroken it’s been discontinued. This perfume smells like sugary ripe blackberries and lilies basking in the sun, sticky blackberry soda, and an artisan hand soap in a fairytale cottage. It’s sweet, refreshing, and divine in the late summer.

I actually like how it fades to a greener scent and how it isn't overpoweringly strong. I spray after a shower too and it's just enough. I've gotten compliments whilst wearing this and it's my scent for now - please don't discontinue!

This might be my all time favorite everyday perfume. It’s light and fruity with an undertone of sexy caramel and wood. It’s beautiful and easy and just all around great. I am devastated it’s been discontinued

i love this!! first spray the blackberry comes through so well and the dry down's still sweet and light -- the sharpness feels like a i'm taking a hit of smth every time i get a whiff

May her memory be a blessing. Nothing I've found yet has compared to this and I've been trying for years. I feel finding a dupe will be my white whale.

They're bringing it back!!! I love this fragrance so much - truly makes me feel like I'm picking blackberries in a garden by a babbling brook.

I ADORE this scent! I get like a blackberry vanilla desert with roses and some cedar. I need to buy this bottle again.
