Candied Lychee

I was sampling the three different perfumes from the Prada paradoxe line when a sephora worker came to suggest other perfumes that would be pleasing to me and I had never taken particular interest in the 7 Virtues line, but this was so intriguing from the opening spray. It's very sugary sweet, in a way that I really appreciated because it doesn't feel immature. It's more like a high-femme lesbian scent: syrupy in a way that may be too much for certain palettes but overall inoffensive and inviting. I don't perceive it as sour at all, but I see where some would call it tart. It's more tart in a flirtatious fruity way, the way biting a green-apple hi-chew feels (not bc it smells like green apple, just in tartness.) she's fun! she's delicious! she's Jenna Rink after being 30 and going back to being 13 with her new-found knowledge of taking things less seriously. If I could make a list of high-femme scents (like on letterboxd) this would be among the top 5! and with the company's dedication to sustainability I have a newfound interest in this perfume and will be looking into the 7 virtues more <3

super light, fresh, sweet scent! starts with a bright, fruity lychee and becomes more floral over time. the peony and sweetness combined really give that "candied lychee" vibe--it's like when you're peeling a lychee and in the middle of peeling, that inner skin bursts and you have to lick the juice before it gets everywhere, except much sweeter and not bitter (but still getting that floral aroma of the lychee skin). like another reviewer said, it does kind of smell like Commodity Juice, but i feel like Juice is tarter and heavier, and doesn't give LYCHEE the way this scent does--strawberry-rhubard pie filling versus a lychee fruit tea with lychee jelly. it lasts a decent amount of time, especially on clothes--i must've accidentally got some on the collar of my sweater when i was applying to my neck, because i was pleasantly surprised 2 days later when i rewore the sweater and could still smell it. i love it and think it's definitely worth a try, but it might not be versatile enough to warrant a full-sized bottle

Before my review I want to say this should be called Candied Peony, that would have been perfect! This is such a beautiful fragrance I can barely even describe how beautiful it is! If you like fresh, light florals, clean and almost slightly gourmand than buy this gem! I can understand the liking to BB Her and the like it does have a similar scent to it but this I find more fresh then Her. Maybe it’s closer to Her Burberry London Dream than the regular Her. It lasts a long time, while not being headache inducing, it’s fresh without being citrusy, it’s gourmand without being too sweet and it projects nicely while still sitting close to the skin! Perfectly balanced fragrance!!!!!

Got this as a gift from my sister for Christmas and wasn't so sure about it at first, as I'm not a huge fan of lychee generally. But this is a really nice, inoffensive, well rounded perfume. Sweet, but not cloyingly sweet, with a really nice dry down that gets more refined the longer you wear it. The lychee adds a fresh, bright note that turns into smooth, fem, powdery softness as the perfume sits on the skin. You really get the peony and amber. It's nothing super exciting, but a nice casual perfume that I think is a crowd pleaser. I wouldn't call it sexy, but it's a pretty fragrance that reminds me of garden dresses, tea parties, butterflies . Very spring-scented.

Surprisingly good scent. I was expecting something boring and generic but it is a quite pleasant scent. Reminds me of a warm sunny spring day among blooming flowers, peonies. However, it is not green or sharp. It is leaning sweet and candy-like. It is light, playful and carefree. It has some airy, fresh quality. Younger crowd may appreciate it. It brings a smile to my face every time I smell it. I would be a pleasant day scent for many occasions. I could wear it around the house, to run errands and to the office. I blind bought it, thinking that I will probably return it, but it is a keeper :) Lovely. Give it a try.

This smells so nice! To me, it smells like tart strawberries with a tiny bit of rose (but not in an old, dusty way). It is fresh but tart and sweet at the same time. I also own Burberry Her, Her Elixir, and Rave Now Women. I would say it's similar to those for sure--and if you like those, you will also like this one. I like this one the best of all of those because of the tart, candied note it has that the others don't. Perfumes don't always last long on me (despite all the hacks) but this one, surprisingly, does last 4-5 hours on my skin. Rave Now Women also lasts quite a long time for me (and days on clothing).

I love it! It’s a very pretty lychee and peony scent. The lychee is definitely very prominent, and it smells NOTHING like Kayali’s sparkling lychee for reference. Kayali’s one is juicier, sweeter, more fruity and gummy candyish. 7 virtues has a more tart lychee with a lovely peony as an anchor. I would say 7 virtues candied lychee is more sophisticated, smells more refined, and less sweet than Kayali. Although I love both! Overall a very girly and pretty lychee scent. Very pink smelling and perfect for summer time🎀💕🌸

I have grown to absolutely love this fragrance. It's a definite mood-lifter and I enjoy wearing it alone or giving it depth by layering with 7 Virtues' Santal Vanille or Blackberry Lily. Also love layering with NEST's Lychee Rose. It's fruity, juicy, playful. It lifts my spirits. There is ambery musk in the dry-down which is gorgeous especially in the colder months. 10/10 for me and I will always have Candied Lychee in my collection!

love this one. at first spray there’s a bright fruity lychee note that punches your nose. I really love lychee, you have to love lychee. as it sits the peony mostly takes over the lychee, but it sits quite sugary on my skin still. definitely not a comfy lounging around scent, but good for a day at an amusement park or walking around a beach town. there’s something about this scent that makes me want to go swimming.

This fragrance is gorgeous. The lychee and peony both present themselves equally. I bought this for the lychee note and I was not disappointed! If you are looking for a lower price point, it smells very similar to a perfume at TJ Maxx called Lychee Garden by Tru Fragrance & Beauty. On the dry down Candied Lychee goes more floral and soft, while Lychee Garden stays bright and sweet.

I really like this scent. Its very fresh sweet and clean at the same time. I think its very feminine and girly. The lychee and the peonies make the most beautiful combination.The opening is more floral but as it dries down it becomes so sweet and almost ozonic. This leaves the most stunning scent trail, it really makes for a good day time fragrance.

This should be an Absolute or Parfum Intense, it is STRONG! Very sweet and juicy, which I do love. To highlight the sweetness (just because), I layer this with Jo Malone Peony Blush Suede. And to soften it, I layer with Chloe Rosa Damascena. This is a fun perfume for layering, not that it’s needed. I do love it very much on its own.

Never thought I would like a lychee fragrance but this one I do love! It’s bright and fresh; a perfect blend for spring. Packs more of a punch than kayali sparkling lychee. Layers beautifully with other scents like Eden juicy apple. Definitely has becoming a surprising staple in my spring lineup.

This is lovely. Definitely ultrafeminine, sweet candy-like lichi which morphs into a really nice vanilla-amber base. If you are a fan of sweet fruity-florals you'll probably like this. This is a crowd pleaser, and definitely a love for me.

Lychee perfumes are always delicious. The 7 Virtue's take on the fruit is no different. A sweeter, less sour version of the note in comparison to Kayali's. Another fantastic output.

I love this perfume! It’s sweet, clean and comforting

I really enjoy this perfume and I think the notes are balanced beautifully. In my opinion it's the perfect balance of sweet fruity and floral notes with both the lychee and peony being able to shine on their own, while simultaneously working together. I think that is achieved by the geranium oil which to me is the one note in the fragrance that leans away from the sweetness, but I welcome that. Following that, sometimes (if I focus on the lychee) it can dominate but I still enjoy it because I am a sucker for a good sweet sent :) The vanilla does come out eventually as a distinguishable scent, but I must say I've only been able to note it towards the later stages of the fragrances longevity on my skin - which has typically been around 7 hours (from what I have been able to observe) after the initial spray. It is a welcome note though, as I find it rounds out the scent profile rather pleasantly. Overall, I think this perfume is the perfect spring/summer sent for everyday wear (and perhaps special event wear), as I find it's both refreshing and comforting, while lasting a surprisingly long time on me personally. I must say however that while I am a fan of this fragrance, it is definitely not for everyone so if you don't typically go for quite sweet scents I would exercise caution when blind buying.
