Butter Me Up

This is supposed to be a dupe for Sol de Janeiro 71 but it’s actually so much better. It has popcorn in the pyramid but it’s either the perfume interpretation of popcorn or I just can’t smell it. 71 smells of very realistic popcorn in comparison. This is also richer and milkier and after some time you can feel the praline as well. I’m not sure how long it lasts on skin but I always spray my clothes with it and they smell for days, I can smell them when I pass by the laundry bin and it lasts even after washing. The whole line is so much worth it.

i’m not american so i’ve never had buttered popcorn but this is what i imagine it would smell like

I bought it because I thought it would be similar to Cheirosa 71 but I'm dissatisfied to say they are worlds apart. On initial spray I get soap which never really leaves, just dies down after a few minutes. I get white flowers and coconut mostly. The praline and popcorn are there somewhere in the background but I get no butter at all. This smells like something lataffa would put out, only theirs have great longevity compared to this ghost of a mist.

Absolutely love this smell - warm cosy autumn/winter in a bottle...BUT....lasts for about 30 seconds which is really disappointing. Tried everything to help it along - layering with body cream etc but it just does not last.
