Indian Gardenia

I remember being 18 and standing in the body shop and taking this bottle from the shelf to smell it's fragrance. I had an intense visceral reaction to it! Just smelling, not even spraying yet had such a profound effect on me, as if my body bloomed in a way. As if i was a flower that had suddenly opened. It warmed my very soul. I loved this perfume so so much, and never did i smell anything like it. It was a beautiful perfume in a beautiful time of my life (one of many beautiful times💛)

The tall rectangle bottle, with gold cap and tan label. There is something about this, not so much the scent (as similar profiles do not interest me), but what it does to my heart and brain... a dragon I will chase long past my final days! My forever favorite with magical mood boosting and calming powers. There is nothing else like it... However, that said...my soul could be for sale... truly...I would do almost anything to have this again! PLEASE!

I fell in love with it when I was in middle school. My biology teacher was wearing a similar scent, and I went on a hunt to find it. To this day I'm not sure if this was the actual perfume she was wearing, but when I found Indian Gardenia, I fell in love. I wish I still had it. Reminds me of the good old days, full of youthful hope and potential.

Bought it when I was 14 in Italy while I was vacationing. I really loved it and still have it now 10 yrs later and still smells great. Its an unusual scent. My mom had bought one too but she got sick of it quickly. Whenever I smell it, it reminds me of Italy :)

I also have the oil version of this fragrance. The blend is so fresh and beautiful. Like a bouquet of creamy florals (especially Gardenia). To me the main note which stands out is the Gardenia itself, which is rich and creamy. I think it is also complimented by the mimosa, the champaca and the jasmine. The rose and lilly-of-the-valley round off the composition. All in all a beautiful fragrance. I have received compliments whilst wearing it, and it brings me joy every time I put it on. Love it! Maybe a shame it's discontinued but I will treasure it.

I've had the perfume oil of this for over 7 years and it still smells perfect to this day. The perfume oil is a creamy white floral fragrance, with moderate sillage and amazing (more than 8 hours) lasting power. I can detect neroli, gardenia and amber most prominently,making this easy on the nose and very well blended. I usually layer this with other fragrances. It can tone down the 'screechiness' of any other fragrance, making it smoother without adding any sweetness, lending warmth and a velvety texture to other perfumes you mix it with.
