Mango

This is a review for The Body Shop Mango body mist and not the perfume! There is no option to review the mist so I'm leaving my review in this category. A lovely mango scent that isn't too sweet, but just the right amount of tropical fruitiness. For the summer I have been combining this with it's mango shower gel, and mango body butter which is my favourite body butter from The Body Shop. During the summer it can be a bit overwhelming to use fragrance regardless of how light the perfume you choose is. This has been perfect for me on most days, and combined with the other products from the line the scent lingers the whole day! If you enjoy mango, or tropical fruity perfumes such as; Escada Taj Sunset or Beyonce Heat Rush you will like this. x

To me this is a mood booster, for when you're getting down and dirty and need an uncomplicated sweetness that goes well on a sweaty armpit about an hour or max two. Two sprays each armpit, one below each ear, why not two above the heart. When you want your scent to comfort you, be the boundary between you and someone you may dislike, or simply tolerate. The smell of easy money. That's why I love it. Good to know it can easily be washed off or layered. Nothing can replace this one, it's a classic from Body Shop. It delivers like your favorite cheap candy brand, one you keep coming back to because of the memories and comfort. To have a nibble. It has warmth, but it's not comfortable enough to stand alone.

I picked this up not long ago and have nearly gone through half of it which for me is great news! I love it. It's like cutting open a fresh sweet mango! Very realistic smelling. Smells a lot like the Body Butter and Body Scrub to me. In case someone is wondering, on me it lasts longer that the body mists they brought out but not as long as most perfumes. Maybe 1-2 hours at best. I would have loved it if they had made it a EDP so it might have stayed around for longer but for the price that wont stop me from re-purchasing when I run out! A great Summer fragrance as I find it very refreshing!

Got the body mist of this which I use to layer over my perfumes to create my own signature scent, at present I'm using this to layer over Avons Rare Pearls, which gives that usually Clean white floral scent a fruity tropical vibe, with a deeper muskiness and a sweetened white honey. I sometimes spray it on its own after a shower for a quick pick me up, lasting power is average for a body mist, it lasts max 2 hours and is a skin scent after the first 15 minutes, but it's a body mist so no need to be mad about it. 8/10 for it's perky blast of Mango goodness.

Got this as well in body mist format. Absolutely love it but it is not a full perfume or scent for me, I use it a lot as a layering tool on other perfumes where a hint of the mango fits in well. I love it for that, but I can also see that someone might be disappointed getting ́ ́only ́ ́ mango if they haven ́t been informed. Love it for what it is, might repurchase for the specific role it fills among my scents but also can see an argument for it not being needed for most.

I love this fragrance,I never imagine Mango will be smell like this when it became a perfume. Very love it and I don't care what another say about this. I like this,if u don't like this please don't make people assume this was a bad fragrance,sometimes a fragrance didn't match with everybody's nose

This was a gift. I really like it. It is very fresh and juicy like cutting a ripe mango. It is pleasant to wear. It doesn ́t last long, but I prefer that, believe it or not. I wear this during the summer for day and night, when I want to feel fresh and kinf of edible, I find it low key sexy.

I have body spray from around 2014 so based on that this is sweet, juicy, fresh, sour enough, not parfumey at all. In my opinion this is not photorealistic mango, but more like real juicy nectarine. Brings back good memories so maybe thats why this is love for me.

I went to a body shop hoping to find refreshing passionfruit but they didnt have it and the worker reccomended me to the mango body mist and omg, its so good, its a very photorealistic ripe mango, sweet, tart and a bit green, so refreshing and fruity i love it

One of the best Body Shop body mists, imo. Smells so fresh, fruity, and juicy. Doesn't smell fake or synthetic like many of their other fruity scents. Sweet, but not too much. I only wish it lasted a little longer, because the scent itself is perfect.

I love this perfume for hot summer days, just a simple, sweet, refreshing mango. admittedly it is slightly artificial but nothing overly synthetic or unrealistic. smells sooo fruity and delicious perfect for casual wear but nothing too fancy.

If you like mangos this is for you. Projection is weak. I used to wear this when I was 15 years old and trying to seduce my swimming teacher. I did not succeed (thank God). Definitely reminds me of my youth. It’s a nice gift for teenagers.

This was my first body spray when I was younger. Fresh and sweet mango, perfect for summer, simple and pretty. However the longevity is very poor and for the cost its not something I ever rushed to restock. Lovely scent, poor performance.

I don't know what the new formulation smells like, but the one I have, which is from... I think 2023? 2022? It's so good! My favorite fruit in a fantastic fragrance. Sometimes you just want a good solinote.

Has this been reformulated? I bought A New bottle and it smells different than my old one. Way better actually. More like real mango. The old one smells artificial.

Very juicy, creamy and sweet, perfect for summer, Just what you'd expect a mango scent to smell like.

I got the body mist, not this version but it reminds me of the Soul Fruit dried mango snacks. Yum!

Simple, fresh, a bit creamy, a bit sweet. Unfortunately longevity is very poor.

Now this stuff I like! I was in TBS yesterday, buying a gift for my friend and I decided to try the Mango EdT. It smelled so good that I figured it would be wise to buy the Mango Body Butter to layer with it. I have smelled it before and liked it, but I have been afraid of it smelling cheap. But I decided to give it a go, since it's summer and all. What I like about it is that it's juicy and fruity fresh, and it smells so similar to mango (only stronger). It is just a tad alcoholic in the beginning, but it calms down after few minutes. I do think it really works well together with the Mango body butter and it does last quite a while. I also think it would be a good EdT to use if I want to spice up some of my fragrances that are a bit "tame" on their own. Today I'm wearing the mango body butter together with the mango EdT all over, and to top it off I put a tiny spritz of "The One Desire" by Dolce & Gabbana on my chest. It really worked well IMO. BUT I would also wear it and enjoy it just on its own! :) (the mixing was just an experiment). A great, fruity, summery fragrance for cheap. Thumbs up :)

I forgot I even had this until today when I thought about it! I don't have it anymore, but it was a very linear, straightforward mango with a bit of creaminess, especially in the body butter (as would be expected). It's richer than Bath and Body Works' "Mango Mandarin", but is still markedly refreshing. As is the norm for these body products; it's best when layered with the body wash, butter, and mist. I recommend just getting the entire line of items (the whole is greater than the sum of it's parts). It's perfect for layering, or wearing on it's own. My family used to love it...especially my mom, who's a known mango fanatic both in fragrance and in regard for eating. I actually never thought it was overly artifical smelling (although not hyper-realistic), but somewhere between an imitation of the natural fragrance and a sythentic rendition. Pretty decent! 🥭
