White Musk Midnight Iris Iris de Minuit

This perfume can only be described as walking through an antique shop full of beautiful, exotic books and furniture with the scent of luxurious, powdery, incense-like fragrances. Outside of the shop is a small garden, fresh with dew, heavy with pollen, glowing with the life of a meadow of irises and lily of the valley while butterflies hover nearby. The sun begins to set on this scene and this is when midnight iris really blooms. Ahhh, so warm and cozy. I got very lucky and found this beauty on ebay for $13 plus shipping. It was a blind buy and, my goodness, it turned out in my favor for sure! It's so beautiful, it might just be my new signature. It's been a few hours since application and I can still smell it on my skin! This one is complex and the way it smells on my skin is divine. If musks, sandalwood or tonka bean smell good on you, then you are in for a treat! EDIT: I just bought my second bottle...I am in love with this stuff :D

Deep, dark, sweet, flowery. It's everything I'd want an evening fragrance to be. Too bad it is limited edition. Don't know where anyone could find this...

This is the body shop's best perfume I think. If you like Emporio Armani-Her, you like midnight iris, too.

This used to be one of my favorite scents circa 2010. Has anyone found a good dupe for it?!

Lovely sweet iris opens up this scent, then the musk start introducing itself slowly. the drydown i got is mostly sweet musk, not so much iris. i agree with Migotka, this one is pleasant but doesnt last that long on dry skin like mine. the smell suits both day and night. I heard this is going to get discontinued soon, so iris de minuit fans, go and grab it, fast!

A very comforting and likable scent. Appropriate both for daytime and evening and for both older women and teenagers. I am not a fan of the original WM, but this is something I could easily buy and wear. A subtle clean, warm and deep flowery scent that stays close to your skin for several hours.

Definitely an autumn scent; very deep, warm and musky-sweet, but still flowery. It's not that different from last year's WM Intrigue, however less cloying, less complex, and IMO more wearable.

Found it online, blind buy and I like it a lot. Not as much as the original white musk but it is a very nice cosy scent.

TBS is a master in the field of nice, budget fragrances. I must admit I like most of their stuff and owned a couple. The original version of this one, White Musk, is my best friends favourite, but seemed a bit too sharp for me. Midnight Iris is a lovely one though! It is much softer and sweeter, makes me think of warm snow petals, much as this may sound weird. Subtle, but not banal, and as Nausicaa says, works perfect for any time of day. And I think that although it works best during winter months, it is not too heavy for spring/summer months. My only problem with it is the fat that after mere 30 minutes it is gone. Shame, since the scent itself is really pleasant.

This is quite expensive, but this is very nice, I find the scent lovely, rich , and very attractive..this isn't what I usually wear, but such a nice iris scent...I get a bit of an aromatic vibe, which is interesting....it is musky, but in a good way, the tonka gives it a real gourmand aura, all in all, I am pleased I bought it! This one and Libertine are great scents..

When this perfume was released I bought two bottles because I just loved it. The iris/tonka added to the original white musk was just divine. I'd like to see it again and I'd buy all the products of the line, even though it didn't have much staying power.

Very nice,i tried it today and i must say i am impressed.I hate the original musk scent,i prefer the male version.So this one was softer and the iris note made it kinda more cleaner.I actually want to buy it.

I love this so much that I've not dared to use, except sparingly, my one and only bottle since I first got it in 2009.
