White Musk Sport

Brilliant bedtime or after-shower perfume. Longevity is horrible, but the scent is pure bliss. Imagine you're turned back into a toddler dreaming of flying up high and hugged by white, lofty, fluffy clouds. This perfume can take you there! It's so fluffy! One of two perfumes from The Body Shop that I enjoy. The other being White Musk l'Eau (green bottle.) This one is totally unisex. Despite the name and poor bottle design, it's not exactly a sport fragrance, and it smells much better than it looks. Solid proof that good fragrance doesn't have to be expensive. It could do better in the longevity and bottle design departments, however.

I have to say this perfume smells very sexy, classy and sophisticated.......The initial blast is lemony/citrusy and reminds me of those usual lemon based citrus fragrances. However, soon after 2 minutes this cologne transitions to something sexy and mysterious - probably it's that African Orange Flower blended with leather and amber notes - who knows. I have to say it smells very fresh and lil citrusy sweet, and last pretty long on my skin, projects well and gives a slight tropical aquatic feel - extremely safe scent for summers and can be worn in every season.

i love body shop, but i really cant like their musk line, although, i really liked this one. it ́s musky aquatic. i definitely could detect the citrus notes, the leather and the amber (in the base the 2 lasts ones). it's a very versatile fragrance. i think i will probably buy this one to my boyfriend :D i recommend it!

bought it for my BF.. luv the fresh scent.. suit for sporty man like him^^

A great "scent" for the gym, as previously mentioned. LuckyStar1 is right-on about this. I, personally, don't get the leather or amber notes in this...what I do get is a nice citrus and floral top with a very clean white musk note that is prounounced. It is a very nice fresh aromatic scent. I sometimes spray a couple of shots and hit the gym, but usually I use it to layer other nice fragrances that have white musk in the composition (my main use for this as it doesn't have enough composition or longevity to wear by itself as a fragrance). I apply the primary fragrance, let it dry down for about 10 minutes and then add a few shots of this nice juice. It adds more depth and a bit more longevity, but never interferes with the original fragrance. It is as clean a scent as you will find. Leather and amber? Not there for me and I'm actually very glad. Good stuff and under the radar...heard it was discontinued, but it may have been relaunched in 2010. I bought a 100ml bottle and it goes with at least 3-4 other fresh/aquatic/aromatic fragrances that I enjoy wearing...gives a little more depth and warmth. Cheers.

White Musk Sport does stand out slightly among The Body Shop's other offerings and most generic men's fresh fragrances in its pairing of musk with other fresh elements (in this case citrus). I liken it to Nautica Voyage N-83, which does with musk and sea notes what White Musk Sport does with musk and citrus notes. Of course there are floral elements, as well, but WMS is dominated by the musk/grapefruit/lemon grouping. The citrus isn't so pungent as in C.O. Bigelow's Elixir White, which is better a slightly cheaper, but WMS is so soft as to be able to withstand a barrage of sprays. That speaks to its weakness too, in terms of both projection and longevity. I regard this as sub-EDC; it makes Tommy Bahama seem like Tom Ford. But WMS and other Body Shop items have their place---light, refreshing, and best when not needing to be long-lasting. 6 out of 10

White Musk Sport smells amazing. Very clean, fresh and natural. There isn't any actual muskiness in it though. I do get the impression of sportiness, youth and energy, but not in that deodorant way. However, longevity and sillage are ridiculously poor. Like, in all seriousness, how they get away with selling this as a EdT is beyond me. It's barely a cologne and more of a passing body mist. Maybe 30mins - 1.5hrs longevity, with only the first 20 minutes that are smellable without trying to. The Body Shop have gone downhill since it was bought by L'Oreal.

Just picked this up and have to agree with andrevarx below: the best men's fragrance from The Body Shop. At first whiff I wasn't so sure though, as it seemed a rather generic fresh/citrus scent. After some time it settled down to a very pleasing, masculine leather/amber base. I did not get much geranium in the middle (as stated in the notes above), but that is a good thing for my nose!

I was looking for a scent like this to replace my discontinued L'occitane Verdon, something with a shower gel vibe that I could spray after the shower and before bed. A very pleasant, clean and relaxing scent, with weak projection and reasonable staying power (3 or 4 hours very close to the skin). I paid around USD 15,00 for 100 ml, and for this price this is a winner.

Pretty good smelling fragrance, I quite like it a lot. Problem is that it doesn't last long at all hence I only use it right before i go somewhere or before I go out to gym. Very soapy fresh.

Good refreshing smell, but lasts about 2 hours and then reapply. For walk about in the afternoon.

Though the price is not too high, the product’s longevity and silage is so horrible that I can only consider it as being way overpriced. Nice scent. But totally not worth buying for me.

I allow myself to devote few words on the topic of... disappointment. Big and solid. So solid that there is not even the thinest crack in its solidity where a whif of doubt could've lingered. That's the essence of my opinion about TBS White Musk Sport Pour Homme. What then might be the reason of me going through the headache of writing about the product which gave me the punch of intensly unpleasent olfactory sensetions followed by equally intense headache ? It must be the headache. The liquid has nothing to do with "white" , "musk" or "sport". There is none of the African Orange Flower in it, none of the Amalfi Lemon nor Geranium, Amber or any other of the noble oils listed up top. So what's in it ? Grapefruita Synthetica. Harsh and screeching. Full of Aw. Oh, my poor head... And all this suffering because of my nosy nose!

Reminds me of Lynx deodorants. It carries that same signature scent that you get from your supermarket Lynx sprays thus making it smell cheap not sophisticated. It smells different from when i tested it at the shop....nose playing tricks on me...regret my purchase after only one spray of opening the bottle. What a waste. Oh well. Just have to use it up quickly. Overkill spray.

smells good not perfect and weak. just goes away

Tried this and was pleasantly suprised how nice it smelled. This is perfect to wear to the gym as it is non offensive and light. Starts off nice and citrusy and I agree it starts to change into this very musky light floral with a light woody note. Ended up buying the 100ml EDT and the anti perspirant deo which were on offer in the Body Shop. I will buy the shower gel too as this fragrance is perfect for the gym.

Citrusy, fresh, aquatic, clean. This is the essential typical fragrance and there is nothing wrong with that. I will probably buy this in the Summer for an everday scent that won't hurt my wallet, and then I will indulge in Gucci Homme Sport or perhaps Hermes Jardin Sur le Nil for something more special when I'm going out.

ive never liked the white musk range , smelt like sandalwood ,very cheap. was plaeasantly surprised with this sporty edition ,very energetic and zesty thats because of the lemon burst in the beginning , one can also feel the leathery masculine smell once it settles down . great very fresh fragrance .

Smells like a typical "men's cologne". Vaguely aquatic. It has such interesting notes listed, but they don't amount to much. It's not very exciting to me, or a compelling everyday staple. Fades quickly and leaves no real lasting impression. Pass.
