Cherry Tabacum

Cherry Tabacum by Dua Fragrances is an utter masterpiece! Now even though I am impressed with this dupe duo blend, I have had mixed results with Dua Fragrances. Most of the ones that I've purchased I've absolutely loved, but their Passionately Dolce has an intolerable musk note that I've detected in at least one other high-end fragrance that was not a dupe (was it Flowerlush, maybe?) that ruined it for me. Additionally, French Macaroons was otherwise lovely, but simply too weak and seemed to sour a bit on my skin. Cherry Tabacum, however, is nothing but delightful from first spray to fade! The cherry note definitely comes through as a maraschino cherry: very sweet and tempting with a slightly boozy opening. More heady sugar and spice and everything nice notes surround this gorgeous cherry note until she all but disappears, leaving behind a softly warm vanilla, dried fruits, tobacco, subtle spice, and a hint of almond. This fragrance is an intimate kiss and a warm hug from your true love when you two are finally alone together after a wild celebration. I would imagine that this is an entirely inoffensive scent for the vast majority of people. Absolutely flawless, unless you had hoped for more of the florals to show or for the intense cherry note to stay longer— which is most likely a chemical impossibility. If you like sweet fruity, subtly spicy vanilla fragrances, this should be a great addition to your fragrance wardrobe. Full marks, 10/10, no hesitation. I will need to reevaluate my list of top 5 fragrances after this one!

This is an inspired fragrance which combines the notes from Tobacco Vanille by Tom Ford and Lost Cherry By Tom Ford. It's an amazing pairing. Initially smells almost like cherry liqueur to me, but that doesn't last long. Quickly the smell transforms to something like dried cherries, with a hint of tobacco. It's a lovely, sophisticated and woody dry cherry scent. As the drydown progresses, you get more of the tobacco. The spices, bitter almond, and wood notes make this fragrance more mature and help tone down the sweetness of the cherries. With some Dua hybrids, you can smell both of the original fragrances if you focus on each note, but that is more difficult with this fragrance. The cacao is hard to detect, and as a result this feels like a whole new beast. The familiar gourmand-esque feel of Tobacco Vanille is absent, and that helps give this fragrance its own unique identity. This is a perfectly unisex scent. As with most Dua fragrances, you're going to get good performance out of this (on fabrics, at least). I washed my clothes and i still got whiffs of this fragrance on them afterward. If you like dried cherry and spicy sweet tobacco, you will love this fragrance.

The batch of Cherry Tabacum I received is nuclear-powered, mega strong. 2-4 sprays creates a cloud of cherry syrup that evolves into more complex tobacco vanilla with a less sweet cherry note. Reminds me of after smoking a cherry tobacco cigar. 8/27/24 - Still own my original bottle. The juice is so deep red at this point, it's ridiculous.

I own TF Lost Cherry but have only test worn Tobacco Vanille. Obviously this is supposed to be a hybrid of the two. Imo it just flat out smells much closer to Lost Cherry. Don't get a whole lot of TV. Maybe a bit more masculine leaning version of LC? Idk. With that being said, I love Cherry Tabacum. Great scent. Great performance. I wear it for more casual settings when I want to go cherry and leave the TF for more special occasions.

It is good! To my nose, it is more of a mix of Kayali Burning Cherry and Kayali Amber 23 rather than a blend of Lost Cherry + Tobacco vanille. It is similar to lost cherry, but unfortunately I dont get much of Tobacco Vanille. Would I buy the full bottle? Yes, once my Kayali Burning Cherry runs out. At least this one doesn't have performance issues, unlike Kayali which at this point became just a body mist for me.
