Popped Cherry

I have the original, and was recently turned onto the Dua Brand by a friend I made here through a swap. She gave me a different clone of another high priced beauty (Ganymede) and I was very impressed. So I tried a FB of this one, as my Lost Cherry bottle was getting low. After testing the og and this on different wrists, I can honestly say this one is an incredibly close dupe with all the dark cherry, almond, tonka fabulousity of the real deal holyfield. Basically indistinguishable after 5 minutes and at the one hour mark. (On original spray, I will say that dua's version is a little cough syrupy, where the original is not, but this fades within a minute.) At $30 on sale, I'm not sure if I can ever justify buying the original again. What was the most impressive, however, was that 6 hours later, the Dua version was still going strong, and the Tom Ford classic totally gone! I'll be trying more dua's in the future, and this one is a no-brainer if you want Lost Cherry but don't want to shell out $400 to smell like this.

Popped Cherry is the Dua expression inspired by Tom Ford Lost Cherry. It’s a bit more cherry-intensive and sharper, with more bite than the original, while the original is a bit creamier and more resinous. Both have the sensibilities of balsam and tonka, a bit powdery and quite sweet, and overall an intensive, mostly-gourmand, immersive experience. And of course Dua is somewhat more affordable and practically pocket-sized, so convenient. So while it doesn’t mimic the original exactly, Popped Cherry is a welcome variation of a great scent, and a great scent in its own right—my first bottle purchased with the current, slim design with crimping a little under 3 years ago. 8 out of 10

I have not smelled Tom Ford Lost Cherry so I can't compare them but Popped Cherry is beautiful!! I am in love with the smokey cherry I get from this perfume! Just one spray lasts me all day and I am in heaven getting whiffs of smokey cherry goodness throughout the day and night. All of my other perfumes lean pretty feminine but I would definitely say that this is a unisex fragrance..a man would smell absolutely wonderful in this! This cherry perfume has a dark, sensual vibe to it and I could picture it being worn by Keanu Reeves...sexy embodied.

This is a veeerrrrrryyyy close dupe to TF Lost Cherry. I ddnt have high hopes but this was absolutely a great find. The Cherry is beautiful and syrupy. Definitely a colder weather scent fall/winter. A bit heavy for warmer months. The dry down is a little smokier than TF which is a bit more powdery but it still maintains that same DNA. (not salty smoke just in distinct smoke mixed with the Cherry).

I've had this Extrait de Parfum for over a year, and it keeps getting better. It's getting stronger and has more of a bite to is like Tom Ford's. It lasts forever, it's completely unisex, not too strong, not headache inducing and perfect for any season, day or night. Can't go wrong with this and it's one of my "loves."
