Dark Casino Royale Nights

This is BR540 Extrait with a more prominent almond note for longevity i guess, since its one of the first notes to dissipate or go nose blind too. This is one of the best dupes i have encountered. I keep this in my bag to re-up because i dont like to carry the original around

This is a Dua version of MFK 540 extrait with some resin notes amplified, making for a denser/darker version. I'd say this is a pine-forward, odd smelling top. Give it 45 minutes and it essentially replicates a softer version of 540E. It's pretty close in profile to the original but it feels almost like a photocopy of it, if that makes sense. It's a bit blurrier, a bit less refined. Like a true clone. It still smells quite nice if you like that profile but it also has way too much Iso-E and Ambroxan in it, which oddly clash with the 540 profile, to me anyway. Longevity is decent on my skin at 7-9 hours but it underperformed the original. A 7.75/10 for me. It's definitely one of the best Dua scents I've tried. It's a good copy of 540 Extrait but definitely is a bit thinner and not as complex. If you want a good copy of 540 Extrait, get Spirito Fiorentino from Terenzi. That one has huge lasting power and is very, very close.

Pay hundreds to smell like 'everybody else' or well under $100 to smell like 'everybody else'? This is typically the value proposition for Dua, except they make a TON of scents. Hybrids, tribids, originals...but they appear to make the most from Aventus and Baccarat 540 'inspirations'. Dark Casino Royale Nights is a dense take on 540. So dense it comes off lactonic to my nose. If you like 540, I can't see you not absolutely loving this stuff. If you're curious about 540, this will give you a great idea of what you're in for. Having worn the OG, I will say this amped up sweetness pushes this into more 'feminine' territory. I'm probably going to sell this because I own their hybrid (Baccarat + Layton) which is more interesting, even if still mass appealing. Maybe I'll keep this to layer with other fragrances. It's simple enough...

Photocopy of the extrait with amped up ambergris aroma-chemicals, and almond aroma-chemicals, and ethyl maltol. Last the same as the original, and is affordable. With all the reformulations of BR540, this is a win!! I love the amber ocean vibe this one has. Beautifully blended, and the marzipan is so heavily dosed that it almost goes cherry!🍒

Oh my my very first Dewar purchase this was it was definitely love at first scent!! Silliage and projection are wonderful.. dark mysterious sweet resinous .. grown woman or man perfect juice
