Dua's Suede

This fragrance is a 98% match to the OG which I had the honor of owning many years back. The leather and vanilla just works on my skin. Beautiful creation. Dua is a fantastic niche house that makes inspired fragrances and many original creations. I own hundreds of their fragrances and have been more than pleased with longevity, accuracy and the price point is unbeatable. I have been purchasing for several years now. I hope to purchase another bottle if it gets a vault restock.

Smells pretty close to the Guerlain fragrance it's duping (Cuir Beluga). A powdery, dry vanilla and wood scent. Its not for me personally, so I resold it to someone who enjoys this scent, but if you are looking for a dupe, this one is pretty close IMO. NOTE: For those unfamiliar with DUA, when purchasing fragrances remember they usually need to macerate (sit and develop) for awhile after the initial spraying. The initial spray isn't accurate to what the fragrance will eventually smell like. Im speaking from persoanl experience as well as most others who are familiar with Dua. Also, Dua doesn't do returns so when trying them out, buy their 10ml "solo's" to test first and allow them to macerate a few weeks and smell again before deciding to purchase full bottles. I enjoy the offerings from this company. Not all are great dupes but so far 80% of what Ive tried has been spot on.

This brand has done too many of us dirty at this point. The vanilla scandal was the (pardon the pun) icing on the cake. Their fragrances used to have substance... now the vanillas turn to alcohol after a month and they try to act like there’s no problem.

I DON'T HAVE THIS FRAGRANCE... This is more a review on the brand as a whole. I have purchased a decent amount of DUA fragrances and sampled more. Probably a total of about 30. Some of their fragrances are fantastic and really out perform and smell amazing. But there are some fragrances that have a nasty thickened burnt hair smell. And it is NASTY. I have smelled some of the worst fragrances from the house of DUA, but also have some loves from the brand. So it makes it really difficult. As someone else mentioned - they do not accept returns. Which makes this next point even worse! They do no allow bad reviews on their website. I have given 4 & 5 star reviews that show up right away. And I have also written 1 & 3 star reviews that are still not on the website a month later. For a company to not accept returns, but then not allowing you to hear other people's honest opinions on the fragrances - I am NOT ok with that! And quite disgusted that is how they want to do business. I have not yet completely given up on them because of the fragrances I do love, but I'm almost at my wit's end.
