Hades' Elixir

Very much the same as Black Afghano. Actually picked this bottle up thinking it was another fragrance. And was thinking this smells like Black Afghano. An exact copy. Extrait strength, so it’s very or extremely similar.

If you buy this looking for a Black Afgano clone, you’ll most likely be disappointed. After having bought a couple of BA clones “Blend Afghano” “Strong Pashtun”, and this, I can safely say that there is no clone that faithfully replicates the original. But then again, the current (apparently weaker) formulation of BA itself doesn’t compare to the beast it was when first unleashed in the mid-2010s. And it (BA) is prohibitively expensive. This does get you quite far though, and it’s horrendously powerful with insane longevity too. It will dominate and overpower any other scents in the vicinity. I tried layering it with another formidable winter fragrance “Ambra Aurea” by Profumum Roma, and I could only smell this one after a few minutes. It’s about 50% the same as BA, but on my skin there’s a cloying synthetic rubber note there that persists for several hours and which ultimately ruins the experience. I’ve tried it on paper and it’s not that bad so it may just be a case of skin chemistry. I have a 10ml version in a nice slim Dua glass bottle for sale cheap if anyone’s interested.
