Magnetic Moon

I’ve not been able to get my nose on lune feline but so far these dua brand dupes have not disappointed so i purchased a travel size of this magnetic moon. This scent reminds me very much of another dupe fragrance i own called vanille drama by fragrance world which is supposed to dupe vanille diorama by Dior. I also have not smelled the Dior one but this is similar to the dupe of it that i have Both are fragrances that i very much enjoy but i wouldn’t consider a safe blind buy as they may not be for everyone They both smell of spiced almost Christmas time vanilla. However this one is a tad more dense and deep with a hint of smokiness that i very much enjoy! Both are a fall and winter scent although the Dior one and it’s dupe may be suitable for the spring time as it is a tad lighter and fresher since it doesn’t really have that smoky factor but it is a very spicy vanilla nonetheless so that has to be kept in mind. Both have an animalic smell when sniffed up close to your nose but you don’t get that in the air or even a foot away from the scent. Both are considered a somewhat dry scent either way the spices feeling like when they’re powdered. Personally i love this and the other one and would love to have the originals one day but so far these dupes are very satisfying to my nose! Wore it today 11/26, got a compliment from a young person in their early 20s ... “you smell good” 😊

I really need to get my nose into the real Lune Feline. This version is horrendous - to me it smells EXACTLY like an old antique shop filled with farm implements. Just awful. I can’t even resell this to anyone. I’d be mortified.

Due to the balsamic styrax-vanilla and spicy green crudeness of the cardamom it reminds me a bit of Touched by an Angel in the lactonic herbal-green aspect as that one also has these notes and they are both woody, but this is more intensely woody. I don't know why cardamom and styrax create a green lactonic effect in both scents, maybe because it's so balsamic that it amplifies the lactonic impression of cardamom, but Touched by an Angel is much sweeter. The cardamom spice itself that I use in cooking smells herbal and kinda lactonic green to me. The styrax note brings a heavy balsamic nuance in this, darkened by the cinnamon and amplified by the peru balsam. This is more unisex and darker. It smells lactonic smoky spicy with a heavy charred scent like bbq and fireplace, like burning wood due to the pink pepper and cedar, but in the later drydown it becomes smoother on the skin from the vanilla while retaining the burning wood vein. The pink pepper always smells woody on my skin, but not like pencil shavings in this one. It is smoky as in burning wood - not ambery peppery/smoky. It is more smoky/woody and more spicy due to the cardamom than DUA Maple Praline/ Praline In Maple by Scents Of Wood which is also woody with pink and black pepper, but that one is more wearable, not much like burning wood/fireplace as Magnetic Moon. As a scent Magnetic Moon reminds me of my grampa's house which has dark mahogany wood embellished walls and a fireplace with a bit of the smoke lingering in the air. Very unique scent. On me it is not foresty, but more balsamic, spicy and woody with the intense green spicy-herbal element from the cardamom. Also it does not smell like bbw Vanilla Romance, like at all which is more vanilla ice cream with some minty cardamom and peppery ambery spice as in BBW Viva Vanilla. It pairs nicely with sweet scents surprisingly, adding a smoky woody effect like the DUA Strawberry Cream & Marshmallows and the new Elixir of Red Berries.
