Sugar Of Garden

Sugar of Garden is a Dua original blend and one of the house’s earlier entries in its modestly-priced Dua Designer Line. It’s a fresh, sweet, semi-floral blend that’s delightfully agreeable, with sugar fittingly as the leading note, with supporting notes of florals (ylang ylang, geranium), citruses (bergamot, lemon), musk, vanilla, and tonka. It has the slightest suggestion of sharpness to add some sophistication but overall it’s really accessible, easygoing, and versatile, just abundantly pleasant and unchallenging in the best way, and, not to mention, a superior value at $33 for 30ml as part of the DDL. An early DDL favorite of mine that took me a while to nab since it was out of stock so much of the time. I’d highly recommend checking it out. 8 out of 10

This scents reminds me of a longer lasting version of Pink Sugar. I get the citrus and the sugar and it has amazing lasting power. To me, it’s a very cute and girly scent and it fits the aesthetic I’m for. Pick it up while Dua is running a sale.

Smells like Aquolina pink sugar Simply Pink with the licorice type of sweetness, but with a sour element while the grand marnier boozy note adds a fizzy balsamic spicy element to it. It's not peppery-spicy, just fizzy and almost mentholated. It's very unique and unisex. Way better than the overly sweet licorice of Simply Pink which is a perfume I got rid of. This is great. I love that it's unisex and isn't overly feminine. Same league are Sweet Twists and Frost Bitten Cupcake. Sweet Twists starts off similar to Frost Bitten Cupcake which I got rid of cuz it was too harsh-spicy and aldehydic from the coconut - frozen cascalone notes and weird peppery from the anise-vodka notes. Sweet Twists is fizzy due to the fizzy cola note and the champagne, while the milk is a watery note in many perfumes and it just adds that ozonic effect amplifying the peppery-fizzy element, reminiscent of Frost Bitten Cupcake. So Sweet Twists is also peppery like Frost Bitten Cupcake is, but in Sweet Twists it's from the nutmeg-ginger and with that licorice-sweet effect from the cola. Frost Bitten Cupcake has an actual licorice note though so it is much heavier. These two scents have a similar licorice-sweet nuance as Sugar of Garden to me, but the latter is not peppery-fresh at all, but more like a candy-sweet scent with some zest. Sweet Twists does not remain peppery though and it becomes vanilla-smooth and very attractive with the cola cotton candy sweetness and the cinnamon's warmth. Both are better than Frost Bitten Cupcake.

This fragrance is nuclear! A tiny spritz will do it. It is definitely sweet and in the same category as Pink Sugar, but it is not just Pink Sugar. This scent doesn’t have a licorice note and the musk base is different. It can be headache inducing if you apply more than a tiny spray. It took a long time to “mature” and I have been struggling to find the best way to enjoy it. I really like the citrus in this fragrance and it saves it, because without it, the sweetness would be overwhelming. It’s a like, not a love for the reasons stated.

Yep. This is straight up Pink Sugar. Not much else to say. I could still smell it the next morning, so longevity is good.
