Velvety Night

So I’ve had this for a few days. At first, I was very disappointed because the opening is quite awful. The way that the black pepper and whipped cream mix just smells very chemically and gross. I don’t like it at all. But I kept it in my purse, even though I wasn’t wearing it Just so that I can have access to it especially on my long drives home to keep testing it out. After a few days of testing and wearing and spraying, maybe it has started to change now that the oxygen is in the bottle because while the opening is still a little unpleasant, it’s gotten a little bit better in the sense that it doesn’t last as long and immediately I start getting the sandalwood, vanilla violet, and patchouli combination, which is quite pleasant. The black pepper still kind of lingers a little bit in the background with the whipped cream, but that slowly starts to fade away and the creaminess from the whipped cream stays so I think I might like this one after all after some time has passed, and the juice has had some time to settle. But I must warn the opening is quite unpleasant and it would be surprising to blind by and order this expecting something beautiful based on the notes and then you get that weird Dairy black pepper combo.
