Onyx Wonder

Black Onyx, a stone that, due to its color, refers to the unknown, has inspired many legends, including the one according to which the universe came to life from a splinter of this stone that in ancient times, was also used for divination purposes. To perceive at best this olfactory symphony, imagine the planet Earth in a primordial state that gradually sees the wonders of nature born. Onyx Wonder is a fragrance that opens with an incisive, strong leather (leather lovers here you will find something sublime), sustained by a noble Oud and that softens and sweetens thanks to inviting gourmand accents. An incredibly successful contrast, which gives life to something magnetic, from which it is difficult to take your nose off. Really beautiful, for perfume lovers with a great personality and I, passionate about this genre, can only put it on my wishlist. "The Creation of the World" painted by Bosch.

In the opening you feel a little citrus, the gourmand note is light and you almost don't feel its presence, after a little while you feel a strong and dominant dose of leather and oud dominating, in fact the strongest note is leather and oud as for cedar I almost didn't smell it In the end, it is a very distinctive perfume. The leather and the oud are very pure. Even if you find the same notes in other perfumes, you will not find the same purity and beauty.

Addictive, weird, dark and gloomy - the perfume of Dracula As with all other fragrances from this house: be patient and give the scent time. The house's DNA is very unique and the scents are complex. They are also much tamer on my skin than on my husband's. For example, this Onyx Wonder is absolutely amazing on me, while on my husband's skin it is far too strong and harsh. It's been a while since I've looked at the notes of a fragrance and I was amazed again. I simply can't find anything gourmand about the scent. The mood in the scent is dark and mysterious. Cumin is clear, but I don't think it's difficult in this scent. It softens very quickly and fades under the leather aroma. Like no other note in the fragrances of this house, the leather is not conventional. However, it is soft and comes mainly from the saffron, and it's wrapped in a gentle bittersweet aroma of it. The scent doesn't feel airy or earthy in any way despite both saffron and patchouli, of which the latter one is sweet and very dark in the scent. Oud adds the darkness of the scent, but it's not challenging in the way you're used to. It's not animalic or dirty. No single note alone makes Onyx Wonder difficult, but it's a special and unusual scent as a whole. You either grow into it little by little and start to love its strangeness, as happened to me, or you never learn to understand it. Like others from the house, you have to experience this scent yourself, it's very hard to describe it in the way it deserves. If I have to think some character that comes to my mind while wearing this, I would say Dracula in his big, gloomy, dark castle, in the most positive way. Onyx Wonder is a completely unisex fragrance, but it's worth keeping in mind that after my husband had sprayed the fragrance on him, I couldn't be around him at all. And when I've worn it myself, it doesn't feel suffocating at all, even though it's heavy and dark. The performance is good and the scent is definitely for wintertime.
