Gooey Butter Cake

i found this at a tk maxx priced at 10 pounds, it smells so good. i wouldnt say it lasts on skin for long (i only done so like twice and im pretty sure it lasted around 2-4 hours?) but when i sprayed it on my clothes, then i could smell it after 2 days of not spraying i can definitely smell the cake batter and the butter in this, and pistachio too, though not as much. but its probably because im a massive gourmand lover, it does smell like butter cake and it makes me want to drink the perfume, its sweet just to the point of it not being cloying, though this also might be because im not that sensitive to gourmands and can handle pretty much all, and as much as i love this scent, i only bought it last month so i dont know whether its too sweet for spring/summer weather, though gourmands are more for autumn/winter

VERY photorealistic gourmand - you can actually get the butter and cake notes on top of the sweet vanilla cream. I can pick up a small bit of the sparking sugar on the top, the pistachio the least. It really does smell like sharing the butter cake from California Pizza Kitchen with my best friend. I usually do not tolerate wearing straightforward gourmands without a brighter or citrusty note, but I find this one wearable and enjoyable. Longevity is okay, honestly what I would prefer for a scent like this. Drydown is very nice and stays well on clothes.

Really photorealistic gourmand scent. Extremely sweet and edible without being too heavy or headache inducing. Smells exactly like a vanilla baked dessert. Unfortunately longevity is very weak and disappears within an hour leaving a very intimate scent lingering on skin which also leaves in another hour. Longevity isn’t too much of an issue considering the price ($14.99 at TjMaxx) so no issues reapplying throughout the day. It’s light enough for the summer but also can serve as a lovely autumn fragrance too.

I was literally hunting this down and finally found it at our local TJ Maxx. It smells so creamy and warm, I get a hint of caramel and brown sugar and it develops into such a nice, sweet warm scent after a few minutes. Longevity I still have to test but it's been an hour and I can still smell it, so I'd call it a success for the price! Edit: longevity is about 2-3 hours before it's gone, unfortunately it also developed into a sort of earthy scent that I can't place :(

It smells like pistashio cake with melted plastic ontop, what a weird way to describe it but thats the only thing I have in mind 😂 it just throws me off 🥀

Just saw this tday at TK max and as I’m a sucker for gourmands decided to get it for €13.99. Mmm it’s onky on first spray u pick up caramel n cakes vibes but very soon after it got a strange pencil shavings sort of smell.. bit disappointing 😩however maybe after macerating for few weeks might help🤷♀️I’ll use it for layering n hope it improves. It’s also not sweet or gourmand in the dry down n fades very quickly🤔aww well u can’t win all the time🙄

Not all gourmands have to smell expensive, but this one does. I'm sorry to say, but theres a bad smell in this, even compared to other Good Scent fragrances. Nah, you can find a great cake scent, maybe for more maybe for less, I wouldnt tell you to buy this tho.

Found at TJ Ma xx for $16.99 Absolutely delicious. A gourmand lovers dream. Delicious delicious. Lasts at least 3/4 hrs. Gorgeous if you mix with your favorite Vanilla scent. Highly recommend.
