Oud Nebula

I am so surprised and in love with this scent! I first get a bit of leather and smoke that had me smelling my wrist over and over. The dry down is soft and a bit sweet. I would wear this on a date and expect compliments. I love this one!

This is the best oud based fragrance I’ve put my nose on. There are a few Oud based frags i love but this just hits different. Well blended and very smooth. Very addictive scent. I can’t get enough of it, so intoxicating. 10/10 for me.

Oud, rose, and saffron. Nothing groundbreaking but very well done. This is not my style of fragrance but I appreciate the quality.

Thanks but no thanks. My usual I don’t like oud, here it smells very leathery. Salty, bitter. It’s pretty much all I get, it really overwhelms all the other claimed notes. If I wanted to smell like a new leather jacket, I’d be wearing one.

Tonka lends it a silky, praline-like richness, seamlessly bridging the transition between luxurious woods, molten ambers and sensual saffron. The real magic happens when the scent begins to warm up on skin, brimming with light and color as constellations of notes unfold within it. It reminds me of staring into the night sky, where—the longer you look, the more is revealed to you. Ethereal saffron threads the deeper praline base while bringing a sensuous kiss of spice. Sheer and airy at first, it gradually glows warm and red, like embers in the firepit, its presence layering in a plump, almost leathery suppleness. Red roses bloom like clusters of stars, while oud throws everything into stark relief, captivating with its quiet, velveteen beauty. The oud is dark, brimming with shadows, but chocolatey rather than animalic, its presence anchored in the buttery nutty tonka. There’s a mellow vanillic sweetness to it that makes it all the more captivating, like gazing at the stars while lying on a thick woolen blanket with your partner, your breath sweet from the recently shated chocolate truffles.🪐🌹

As expected, exquisite Harmonist quality, seamlessly blended take on a classic oud-rose. I thought this would be a no brainer and I've sampled this many times on skin, willing myself to like it as I do believe it is a closely photo-realistic example of a leather frag. However, in my head, all I get is new car. From the first spray to the dry down it just gives a scent memory of fresh leather seats, specifically inside a chauffeured vehicle, like an Uber exec. Maybe the woody notes here are giving a twang of air freshener, who knows. Overall, an unfortunate pass.

Little to no oud detected. A smooth, lightly sweet, leather fragrance. I mostly get saffron, rose and lot of leather. Shines in colder weather. Really nice but not worth the retail price.
