Rock 'n' Rouge

Oh yes! This is the first House of Oud perfume I’ve tried and I’m looking forward to trying more. First impressions, blast of amaretto sans alcohol (hint of marzipan maybe?), with something warm and cozy must be tonka bean/vanilla/musk...after about 1h it becomes more spicy and a bit woody still warm but a bit fresh at the same time (orchid, tangerine). Quite linear, don’t expect it to change dramatically over time. It’s so lovely. Nothing crazy, classy quality. Ideal for a girly woman. To me it is full size bottle worthy. WARNING Highly addictive!

Bought this Parfum right on the first day it was brought to public, only for the special edition meaning because I was expecting it to be really heavy, something you wear when you get red lips and fancy jewelries on. Interestingly it’s actually not that heavy, it’s elegant freeze. The powdery almond was there for only 30 seconds after spraying. Then it became flowery, but not like flower bomb. It slowly appeared after a cool freshness (a minty feeling smell). The Parfum wrapped up with musky woody smell, which I find kind of common for The House of Oud. But it’s a comfortable nice smell. A hint of vanilla smell is always there, which makes this Parfum a little bit sweet and naughty. Overall it matches well with the scene the brand create for it, ballerina with red lace dress. Elegant, seductive.

When I went on a perfume testing tour in Hiland mall, while I was trying to find a designer perfume which was in my testlist, my husband was wondering around in niche section.he gave me a blotter and said it's the red perfume from House of Oud.I didn't care for it when first sniffed but when I reached home and gave it another try,I fell for it and loved it so much.it's very spicy yet has softness.cinnamon and tonka are the strongest notes but there's also this flowery,powdery heart which I love.Rock 'n' Rouge is a cozy,not so sweet gourmand.long-lasting and well-projecting and I'd buy it if it wasn't so expensive
