Velvet Patchouli N°20

@meissie1982...yes this is a dupe of Coco Mademoiselle...it is very similar. I personally like the Master perfumers creations. I have used Pearly Lotus which is very similar to Chloé edp. Velvet Patchouli opens with a strong citrusy patchouli blast but softens down to a more rosey scent. It indeed stays close to skin. I think its ideal for layering or use as a bodymist if using Coco Mademoiselle. Its very affordable so its def worth a try.

A very very light Coco Mademoiselle dupe. Much more citrusy and less floral, and I am not really getting plum. It lasts about an hour, and does not have the strong patchouli scent that CM has. But for the price, it's a really nice refreshing splash during warm summer days, and it avoids the problem that CM sometimes has of becoming annoying and all-consuming.

It’s a lively fragrance. A blast of clean transparent patchouli, mineral, à la Mademoiselle or Miss, discreetly drying down into an airy powdery purple fruit. The plum is dry, sweet and nicely present during the long final part. So well balanced and stylish for such a little price, a great pick. Would be perfect to go to work, especially in a clear and chilly weather. It exudes freshness, precision, confidence and happy femininity.

This perfume reminds me of my jolly, fat aunt! It's lady like and comforting. The plum note is just as strongly present as the patchouli note, in my opinion.

Van alle masterperfumer geuren die ik heb vind ik dit de minst lekkere. Ik heb deze als tasverstuiver. En t is op zicht een gewone doorsnee geur niet echt vies. Maar ik vind de andere geuren gewoon lekkerder. Mocht ik het voor elkaar krijgen de tas verstuiver ooit leeg te spuiten zal ik m toch wel weer aanschaffen omdat ik de serie graag compleet wil houden. Maar daar waar ik van de rest een grote fles zal kopen zodra de tasverstuiver leeg is, zal ik dat van deze geur zoals ik er nu over denk niet gaan doen. Een tasverstuiver van Velvet patchouli is meer dan genoeg.

A new one in the Master Perfumer family! I bought it blind a couple of weeks ago and made the mention to Fragrantica that this is a new release. I like it, as a patchouli lover I say that the patchouli is there...only it could have been stronger. The plum and rose are more upfront. It becomes a soft rose skin scent after 1 hour. For the price I say grab it! I could not sniff it out if this is a dupe for a designer perfume. Maybe some of you guys know it? Ck secret Obsession came to my mind but that must be that plum. It is on the market since oktober 2016!!!

The complete line has been renewed and instead of renumbering they have kept the name and bottles but changed the scent inside completely. As far as I can see the new bottle contains a dupe of Chanel Chance.

This is not Coco Mademoiselle, this is the Miss Dior 2012 version and the Master Perfumer Jasmin Blush is the Miss Dior Cherie 2011 version!
