Gold Regatta

Do yourself a favour and find a way to test this beauty. I've just finished my 5ml sample and had to get a full bottle. It is on the expensive side, but I was lucky enough to find a tester bottle. I recommend you act quickly before influencers and reviewers get wind of its existance, if you want a chance to find a bargain. Gold Regatta is a soft, gentle yet assertive scent. It is woody and it's got a fluffy vanilla note, but it's also got a salty and marine aspect to it. It is extremely elengant and interesting, but it's also easy to wear and modern. I'm wearing it in winter, and I can't wait to see how it works in warmer weather. ACHTUNG: this is the part of my review where I talk about what I get smelling this perfume in terms of connections to my personal life experiences. Chanses are you won't experience the same, even if you've been to Venice before. From Gold Regatta I get a reminder of one of my visits to Venice in mild weather season. I couldn't say exactly which occasion, as I live 2 hours away from Venice and I've been there several times. It probably is one of those reconstructions of a memory our imperfect, yet inventive little brain likes to make. I get the salty air from the sea, but also the scent of pastries coming out of bakeries, restaurants and eateries. I get the lukewarm air and a sense of carefreeness you normally get when on vacation or on a trip. I get refinement and the liveliness, energy and enthusiasm from the (not too) many people about the streets - remember, this is a fantasy-memory of an ideal visit to Venice in mild weather, and not the ordeel you'd experience if you went on high season (don't do that!). In summary this is an elegat, refined, modern and optimistic scent that will certainly put a smile on your face. It's fairly unisex, but you could see it as a woody, salty/marine, less gourmandy and more masculine version of the excellent D&G Devotion.

I really love this one! It’s fruity, sweet, salty and a little bit dank and musty. Reminiscent of being under a quay when the tide’s just gone out but with this dusty, woody kind of smell I can’t quite describe. It’s light, airy and delicate, and even though it’s very different and unique smelling, it doesn’t have anything unpleasant about it and none of the notes ‘jump out’ once it’s settled. No need to overspray, one on each wrist and one on either side of the neck generates plenty of sillage for a good few hours The powdery sweet vanilla and amber stay on my skin for aeons after the other notes have faded, which is a good 4-6 hours. Probably not a great blind buy, I find it quite sweet and probably more feminine than other fragrances I like, but so beautiful and very wearable. Brilliantly executed 👏👏

Bought this today and just wow! This fragrance brings you visions of standing in the Italian coast smelling the ocean breeze with hints of sweetness and warmth from the amber notes. One thing I would say is that this fragrance quite divisive as niche fragrances go... In terms of performance I would say I get at least 12 hours of longevity it’s a beast mode smell. This is the kind of fragrance that makes you keep smelling it over and over and I haven’t gone nose blind to it as of yet. There is no fragrance I can think of that comes close to it, it smells like old money is the best way I can describe it! However my only criticism is the cost - being £220 is quite steep but it certainly will turn heads so I recommend it heavily. Overall rating 9/10

A very well blended fragrance but when i first test it on my skin, it did ring a big bell. Where did i smell this before? Oh wait, i know cuz i have it in my collection but didn't used it in ages. GOLD REGATTA is 95% LATTAFA AJWAD. In fact Lattafa tried to or accidentally copied this good italian perfume. Gold Regatta is Lattafa Ajwad but only a little bit sweeter and of course way higher when it comes about the quality of the ingredients. Projection and longevity are top! A really good fragrance but overpriced.

Amo le fragranze intense ma delicate, e sono sempre alla ricerca di nuove note profumate da abbinare alle mie giornate. Questa fragranza Gold Regatta mi ha incantata, la nota ambrata é morbida e delicata, mentre la nota vanigliata avvolge senza essere troppo dolce, é perfetta per chi come me ama le note aspre ma delicate. Mi piace indossarlo di giorno per dare brio alle mie giornate e di sera per dare quel tocco in più alle mie serate. Il pack è elegante e raffinato e la boccetta é davvero stupenda!
