Sandalo Australia

I have not smelled Australian sandalwood but this fragrance smells really nice to me. I am not a fan of Sandalwood perfumes with pickles. This one is totally different. It smells like wood chips of Sandalwood (80%) and wood chips of Akigalawood (19%). Sometimes it feels spicy (with a hint of Peppermint), sometimes more creamy. I really enjoy all the nuances. For me it is in the top 3 in this collection. It reminds me of some perfume of Carner Barcelona, but I can't remember which one. I need to go back to their shop. My first experience with this brand: very pure and natural, very attractive and strong in the first hour, but in the following hours, the smell decreases drastically. Now 8 hours have passed since I sprayed this perfume on my hand, and there is still a good smell. After a few minutes, The spiciness of the wood aroma tends to sweetness. This goes wonderfully with the Accordi Bergamatto. Perfect combination that I can make brighter or darker depending upon my mood. Adding the Accordi Patchouli creates even more depth. I wish more people would suggest other combinations. Gives a new twist to people who feel like they have everything covered as way of scent profile and not getting the original lift from exploring something new.

I like this line of perfumes and this one is my favorite so far. It has something oddly comforting.

This is a unisex sandalwood fragrance with a hint of spice in the opening. It is not similar to Santal 33 and it is less sweet than Santal Austral. The fragrance itself is simple and would add a deep woodiness if layered with a floral or vanilla centric perfume.

There is more amboxan then sandalwood in this which makes it more of a layering perfume, also cypriol in the drydown, oud accord. Rather masculine then feminine.
