L'Orangerie

This is a simple fragrance, oranges on top of oranges with a slight vanilla hint on dry down, but it's really fresh and not synthetic smelling or overpowering. As a citrus lover, I really love this and it's possibly my favourite of the Saltworks discovery set in terms of actual fragrance. Perfect for summer and holidays. I'd buy a full bottle in a heartbeat if it wasn't for the fact that it just doesn't last at all. An hour, two at tops. If I've got to reapply multiple times in a day, I'd rather not spend so much. I've only got a 2ml tester which is nearly gone and I'm sad to not have it any more though, so I might give in anyway!

I love the simplicity of this one. It is a very realistic citrus, but the orange blossom and petitgrain give it a bit of extra lift and sparkle which prevents it from being flat. The sweetness of the vanilla peeks through a little later, and the whole thing just rests in this light and airy orangey vanilla space.. on me, at least, for a very long time. An easy wear and a proper love!

I absolutely love this beautiful citrus scent. Such a happy fragrance to wear. Captures the sunshine...so much to love with this perfume house...but for me, this is the star along with Sicilia!

A simple citrus perfume. Would have loved it if the musk was stronger but that is a personal preference. To be entirely honest, I think M&S Provenance Amongst the Orange Groves is a lot like this and that is a favourite citrus of mine. But that might be discontinued in which case this is a solid alternative.

not excessively long-lasting, but sweet and youthful. pleasant to wear during lighter weather, but has no real personality. i would call it pretty before beautiful - it wouldn't make you turn your head, but it doesn't set out to.

This is a nice fresh, citrus floral scent! It's lovely, but it is a little simple. Perfect for summer. Would be great layered with something a bit more complex, that could benefit from a citrus kick.

Nice fresh, summer scent. But not very complex. Citrus & Sweet orange opening, dries down nicely, loses its lemony citrus sharpness but maintains a sweet orange scent. It's a nice natural orange, not artificially sweet. About an hour later the fruit notes are less intense but I get a vanilla and orange base note. longevity is average, not amazing. Personally I'd buy a cheaper alternative for this kind of scent.

I recently bought the Saltworks Discovery Set so this is based on a few tests from a 2ml sample. L'Orangerie is pleasant, but its very one-note on me. Its a realistic citrus, very fresh and zingy lemony initially, then quickly more orange. Its not overly sweet. But thats about it-longevity is poor, and I didn't get any of the musk or vanilla, it just faded very quickly. Pretty, but simple.

Not bad, but not great either on me and my partner it literally just smells like a cleaning product, think lemon pledge but really really high quality. It’s very linear what you smell on the open is what it stays as, orange, citrus zest I get no vanilla like others are saying with that being said though it’s obvious it’s used very high quality ingredients it smells nice

Smells like orange. Too orangery for me. I love to smell it but not as a scent on myself.

The Saltworks Company is an amazing perfume brand based in the UK. Consider yourself lucky if you are able to try their perfumes. They make a very sophisticated wide range of the perfumes to chose from. They have amazing sets for every taste to try. Sweet and Fruity. Fresh. Spicy and Woody. And my favorite one Romantic/Floral. I've them. And let me tell y'all there are AMAZING. Top quality perfumes, every one of them with no exception. There is nothing under the moon you can create to surprise people anymore, yet, The Saltworks managed to make their perfumes incredibly memorable, enjoyable, sophisticated, modern, yet light and classy, so no one is going to suffer being around you. AND... their perfumes will never go cheap sour on you as it's always the case with high fashion brands. Give it a try. You will be smitten by the quality. L'Orangerie is probably the best orange blossom perfume I have ever came across so far. Apart of some wonderful creations by Fragonard. But The Saltworks took the top prize in my book. Absolutely stunning, true to real thing perfume.

Opens with a very fresh, zingy, realisitic orange scent. Juicy and simple. I can detect the floral orange blossom and mild vanilla as it settles. It's definitely not my kind of perfume, but it's a nice pick-me-up kind of scent. The longevity is quite short in comparison to other Saltworks fragrances, which I find tend to be quite long-lasting.

Not a bad perfume. But very simple. Oranges and more oranges, with a little hint of sweetness. Smells a little a very sophisticated air freshener or body spray. Might be great for holiday spritz when you just want a sweet fruity citrusy fragrance, but for the price tag attached it is very basic.

Starts out smelling extremely nice, if a citrus freshie is your thing. smells like freshly peeled oranges. Something occurs in the dry-down that makes it smell very medicinal to me and I was not a fan.
