Tabac Soleil

This is exceptionally nice. I don't have Tobacco Vanille, but I do have Jazz Club, and while I love Jazz Club I think I like this just a wee bit better. While the tobacco note in Jazz Club is smokey, albeit smoothed with vanilla, Tabac Soleil's tabac is more like the flower - sweeter but still complex, warm and almost gourmand with the vanilla and spices. The spices, I should note, are heavenly. I get what the reviewer below said about mulled wine, but oddly this gives me more of a sophisticated "Dr Pepper" vibe. Don't laugh! Dr Pepper's recipe contains vanilla as well as amaretto, liquorice, clove, ginger, juniper, nutmeg, and pepper, among other spices. I think there is definitely clove, nutmeg, and pepper in Tabac Soleil's spice mixture and maybe some of the others. In any case, the effect is actually pretty wonderful. Tobacco blossom, tobacco, vanilla, and the best parts of a spiced Victorian phosphate. It's unique, very wearable, and kind of addictive. Purple Haze is my favourite from Saltworks, but this, French Fig, and Pomegranate Amber are tied for second. So many lovely scents from them!

I'm really impressed with this! I know some people have said it's summery but to me this is pure Christmas. We are talking Christmas tree up, mulled wine, wrapping presents Christmas. Would have loved it if they'd leant far more into the tobacco and really made it an intense spice instead of somewhat sweet. But I love this nonetheless and will absolutely be returning in December to it.

Fantastic sweet tobacco Better than Tobacco vanille for me because, this one is a perfect balance of sweet and spice. High quality indeed Addicting

i blind-sniffed it and totally thought there is cherry in there. i assume the notes of lemon and tobacco blossom give off a pleasant cherry accord. the good thing about it is that this fragrance is quite linear, which means that this hint of cherry stays for a very very long time - for me it's a win, as it is often hard to achieve with all those fruity scents that open up nice and juicy and then just turn into something barely noticeable within minutes. while it's nice on it's own (albeit sweet), i just love to layer it with earl grey & cucumber from jo malone. it creates a concoction reminiscent of a fruity tea blend (dry, not steeped), or the smell of a tea store - just a half of it though, there is not enough depth and notes for it to be a full shop, but it's certainly enough to make me feel cozy. instant moodmaker, i kid you not. when it comes to longevity, it might be the best out of all the saltworks' scents i've tried (men's discovery set), so i'm considering buying the 10ml bottle just for the purpose of layering
