Oud Legacy

I encountered this brand online and they give out free samples each month. The first I tried was figaro and it was amazing! I then fell in love with the brand and ordered many 10ml travel sprays. This is the first full bottle I purchased. There are 3 oud scents in the collection, namely oud legacy, oud harmony and oud bazzare. They are all fascinating scents. Our legacy is not a potent and spicy oud like oud bazzare. It is a moonlit dessert among which camels and caravans travelled in ancient times. Perfect to wear alone and also for layering. It comes with a 10ml spray when you purchase a full bottle. Price is affordable and performance is good. There are also different discovery sets for you to try the range. An underestimated brand.

This stuff is incredible. The notes are fairly stable across the life of the scent. It smells like slightly sweet and rich cherry/almond, with a fizzing artemisia/wormwood underneath. Your nose might interpret that cherry/almond as leather, but to me it smells more like almond extract and spiced rum to me than anything else. (I think there's labdanum in here, like BDC Exclusif and other recent scents.) The wormwood adds a fantastic complexity that keeps you interested. Eventually as it dries off and you're left with something woodier and rich. There's nothing very animalic about this Oud. It's not very polarising as far as I can tell. Just a lovely rich addictive evening scent.

Pleasant Oud fragrance. The opening is very typical oud, nothing complex. Opens with a woody fresh oud, leather notes develop on dry down and settles with an also typical oud base. Not many notes detectable except oud and leather after 60mins. Longevity and projection isn't bad at all, but it's just too generic.
