Purple Haze

I love this with every fiber of my being! Violet and patchouli in perfect harmony and at top strength with a touch of tart sweet raspberry and warm soft rosewood at the base (and just a touch of suede, according to the website). I love each of these notes but have never smelled them in this particular combination and balanced to such perfection. It's unique, sophisticated, and at 25% concentration it lasts for hours and hours. I don't have anything else like this in my 500+ bottle collection and I love it so much I finished my 10ml travel bottle and upgraded to a 100ml fancy schmancy one. This is everything I'd hoped Boy Smells Violet Ends would be, but better. I would bathe in it. I want to be buried in it. The standout winner of Saltworks' range, in my opinion. This house is deeply underrated!

This smells like parma violets on a bed of warm, rich rosewood with smoky suede, with a hint of tart raspberry. It’s yummy. In combination it's quite incensey. Very unique. It's hard for me to pick out any patchouli in the opening, it seems to emerge in the dry down. It's quite sweet, dry, and woody in it's character, and somewhat powdery which I think is what puts me off this fragrance a little. I think if you're a violet fan, you'll like this more than me. Unfortunately I cannot be rid of candy associations with any sweet violet fragrance! I can imagine a bubbly bohemian woman wearing this, it's quite outgoing and bold. But I do also think a man could wear this. Strong projection and longevity.

Strong woody notes on opening, and a white floral scent. Develops slightly powdery but strong wood notes overtake again. Projection is impressive but it didn't last long. Longevity 4/10. Great 9f you want a true woody fragrance but it lacks complexity.
