Tabac Nuit

Gosh this is rich and lovely. I feel like the tobacco note is a lot more prominent in this than in Tobac Soleil. I get vanilla, coffee, a hint of peach, plum, white florals. Very heady, mysterious, sensual. Definitely for evening wear. Has a similar kind of medicinal quality that you get in Tobac Soleil, but I feel like it's more dominating in this composition. Notable frankincense base note. The patchouli doesn't stick out to me but it might just be because there's so much going on here. It's a scent that I feel would be polarising, but I can tell I will keep coming back to it! It's absolutely delicious and the longevity is excellent. I want to spray this on my partner, if he’ll let me. I will add for emphasis that the tobacco in this is very STRONG. To some people it may smell like a peachy ash-tray in a coffee shop... but somehow it's kind of addictive and sensual. Unisex for sure. I do think I will eventually get the 10ml of this but I can see myself layering it with Tobac Soleil in most instances (at least in public...) to tone the tobacco down slightly.

This is terrific. Rich tobacco scent with some rose and fruits to tone it down slightly. You get some incense but not overpowering with some vanilla and amber to keep this nicely rounded. My favourite from The Saltworks

I have many (probably too many) Saltworks fragrances I adore, but I have to say this isn't one of them - it is overpoweringly enormous and doesn't dry down much quieter. On me, the tobacco and florals dry down to a bit of an overly heavy mess. Given the other ratings, it is pretty safe to say this one definitely needs the right skin chemistry, so I strongly recommend a sample before a blind buy!
