Haibah

This is just fabulous. And the epitome of Arabian perfumery. Opens with a super refined blast of truffle, oud and moist, mild earthy notes. Florals and incense also add to the beauty of this fragrance. It lasts forever on clothes with huge projection. Drydown is like sweetened dark, incence with amber. I tried this at Scentido, Mumbai who are the authorised stockist of SOD and many other brands. Haibah reminded me of a bit of a darker version of Amber Aoud Absolue precieux. The experience at Scentido was amazing. Scentido and Sentoria are the two dealers in Mumbai I trust and buy from.I have seen SOD bottles with London as well as Gulf address perhaps those from London are strictly IFRA compliant. Glorious leathery woody floral musk centered around a nice Cambodian Oud. The opening showcases the Oud with fruity notes and leather. There is a brief floral middle and the perfume settles into a musky powdery base of more Oud, patchouli, sandalwood, cedar and musk. The perfume is named for majesty and this is indeed a bold statement making decadent composition. If I have a complaint, it’s the rather loud and tacky presentation of this wonderful juice in a trophy like bottle. The masculine leaning scent has moderate to strong projection and excellent longevity. Not for everyone because of a strong animalic vibe. Enjoy!

In my view, this is close to being a holy grail type oud scent, and is one of, if not the best oud fragrances I have gotten my nose on to date. Hardcore oud lovers will probably prefer “Oud” from the first generation. However, Haibah is more versatile and is probably the one I would recommend if you can afford the astronomical price tag. If you cannot afford either of the above then get yourself a bottle of Oud Maximus from Bortnikoff, which is a real deal oud fragrance and provides much better value.

It is the beat among the line as its so sophisticated & elegant. Scent 10/10 as it goes powdery & rosy. Projection 10/10. Not all people willl enjoy it though cuz it depends mainly on skin projection.

Reminds me of a dirtier (in a good way) /more masculine Roja Dove Amber Aoud. It still has that soft warm coziness in the dry down that Amber Aoud has. I think it is excellent!

Oud rose and not a particularly enjoyable version at that. It is complicated and there is a lot going on Oud, spice, florals. But that doesn’t make it good. This is middling at best. This is my third TSoD fragrance. This house is not for me. Two were nondescript and the third was disgusting, as in a barrel full of unwashed genitalia disgusting. I think the reviews that wax poetic about this fragrance are doing it in an attempt to justify the cost of this product. Because to my nose this is very meh. The only thing nice I am able to say is if you show up to my house wearing this I will still let you in but you show up wearing Baz I simply will turn the fire hose on you. What happens in Dubai should stay in Dubai.

this is a Skanky oud, if you like that sort of thing you will like this. It's oud throughout. Smells like nebulous from boadicea, no need to get this is you have that, though I would say this has more notes then nebulous. Both are rich and project almost too much. Not everyone likes oud so be careful where and when it's worn. I live in Florida so heavy ouds only work like 2 months out of the year on my skin. It's good but I like 4 others from this house more. Update- though this still opens with stanky oud, wearing the second time i have noticed many more things going on. This scent is luxury personified. I only did two atomizers and the scent opened more quickly two reveal the middle. I'm getting the lily and rose. No real wood yet will update on the dry down when it starts. Ok so there definitely wood in the base, i get vanilla as well, maybe from sandlewood. It's creamy I guess it's what I'm saying. Rating is 9 out of 10 because of complexity and high quality makeup. I wish the beginning was not so potent. Maybe put on an hour or so before you leave the house as not to get weird looks hahaha. I may scoop a full bottle just because it's so well made.

This is a Incredible Niche Oud creation. In the same level of stuff like FM the night Or Strange Love Dead of Night, with that ambery Middle Eastern twist and tons of layers. Opens up with Pure Indian Oud, the barnyard type.. then in a few minutes starts dry-down to a Dark Choco-like patchouli with that amazing smooth Indian Oud backbone, dark fruity nuances. This is heavy, dense, thick with an earthy buttery finish. Tons of amber in the base, to round off the composition. A favorite non artisanal Oud Creation of mine. You have to be a bit experienced in the game to appreciate this type of heavy scents. Bold, long lasting. Sample first.

Haibah is the rarest of diamonds, something unique and precious. Well certainly this is a unique fragrance, basically marked by an Oud which is made earthy, humid and animalic by the notes that contour it, turning out really, and I am telling the truth, the hardest and strongest fragrance I have smelled. Truly for a few noses who love notes and fragrances with extreme personality. This creation has the totally oriental dna: opulent, a new discovery, which I find for my original conception and really for those who wanted something incredibly strong.

Woody, fruity, leathery and Oriental 😋 This ain't skanky to me by the way 🙂 it also has Diwan vibe, and I'm thinking is the taif rose & coffee in it. I get more coffee / chocolate, earthiness and i'm assuming is the patchouli dancing in the background which takes it to another level! However, isn't the same with Diwan.. And also, it has this warm creaming coziness vibe that you will never get tired of..

Wow, this is stunning. I'm picking up some beautiful sweetness and earthiness, the warm spices and rose are stunning too. It's sweet but not cloying - on my skin is comes across as very incense type of scent. Lot's of sandalwood in the dry down. There are so many notes in this one, it really takes you on a journey during its dry down. I find that it has a slight similarity to Baz.

La salida más retadora que he probado! Tengo que llenarme de valor para tratarlo en piel. No sé si tenga suficiente valor para vestirlo!
