Un Jardin d'Apothicaire

So yes... SO YES!... After my failed test yesterday with Blam & objurgation today I try this perfume totally up to what I expect from a work by Jimmy Bodin. Un jardin d'apothicaire is a floral perfume with CAPITAL LETTERS. The aroma, although quite original, reminds me of a perfume I've smelled before but I can't remember which one... It shares the soft and elegant floral character of Where web used to live by Azman, the white flowers with soft and creamy dried from EdenFalls by M. Micallef...but no, it's not those, there is another one that is more similar although I can't remember which one...Is it perhaps the freshness of Mr. Magnolia from Natural Equation? A little yes, but neither! Someone help me? :) On my skin the scent feels very elegant and natural. Soft and delicate but always present. It has a very good longevity but with a moderate to light sillage, creating an aura around that is felt from time to time in bursts. Of course, the aroma stays with you to live... The quality of the perfume is very high. In this case, I can understand what they ask us for this perfume. It is not cheap but it offers something very special and, as I said, of very high quality. Flower lovers will find here an addictive and delicious mix of iris and violet with white flowers. The base is sweet but very very light, with an exquisite vanilla (I don't notice the tonka so much or at least being so light I can't differentiate it from the vanilla). As the previous comment says, it totally lacks an animal or leathery part, which today is something totally innovative :). Perfect for summer/spring and daytime wear. It can also work great as an office fragrance or for daytime events: meals, daytime weddings, etc etc. scent: 10 Longevity: 10 Sillage: 6 Versatility: 6 Originality: 8 Overall: 9.5

Powdery florals Mostly tuberose, the powderiness coming from violet and iris There is a very subtle almost just a bit rotten or rather plasticky note that im guessing is from jasmine Ylang and vanilla sweeten the entire composition and make it creamier

vanilla white flowers and a little bit of fire but they somehow managed to sneak it into the background without overpowering the core this is really beatiful 9.1/10

Very flowey fragrance a bit powdery but still magnificent, dry down for me is a bit cinnamony for me. It's just an absolute masterpiece.

I think I found a unicorn in Bigfoot's backyard. In another review I said that Amour Sur Ordannance was the most wearable from the Ante-Medicinae line. Ummmmm....Im not too sure about that. This is good and let me tell you about it. Un Jardin opens with a combination of yellow florals, vanilla and what feels like cinnamon but it could very well be a contaminated tonka(I say that respectfully). The opening however, is decidedly strong, with fair amount of tuberose, working in tandem with the vanilla, and while that's happening, the composition is almost roasted with something oak-like. While the floral notes in the middle are fairly strong, they don’t completely obliterate the core woody aromas. Overall, I would call this an all year round floral fragrance with fangs but it has a sense of balance with the powdery innocence provided by the violet flower and of course the oak-like smell mentioned above. I can imagine the dry down being the favorite part for some of you. Towards the end, is where this fragrance is even keeled for tight spaces. This is the most psychedelic offering out of the four fragrances and the one that will get you harassed, NO DOUBT. In order from favorite to least favorite: Un Jardin d'Apothicaire, Musk Vernaculaire, Blâme & Objurgation, Amour Sur Ordonnance and then Monsieur Chypre Holistique.
