Cherry Powder

I'm trying this fragrance today and, honestly, I loved it. The first thing to point out is that the name is a little misleading since it smells much more like "powder" than "cherry." Especially at the beginning what I notice is an intense smell of talcum powder. It reminds me a little, in a good way, of the talc-smelling fabric softeners that are in almost every supermarket. Although it is not declared, I notice a very silky and powdery rose smell, with alkaline and soapy notes and probably mixed with iris or violet accords. In this phase the fragrance is 0 sweet. But little by little the magic begins. The cherry begins to come out, a very subtle cherry that at no time becomes gourmand or syrupy, but, although the cherry aroma is recognized, it is from its most acidic and citric part. You can also feel the slightly sweet touch of the macaroni, with a slightly almondy touch and very very very slightly sweet. Once the cherry fades, the powdery notes remain on the skin with that sweet touch that lasts for about 5 or 6 hours, the tonic touch also being felt but in a very soft way, and generating a soapy sensation. It is by no means a perfume to attract attention. It is an elegant aroma that goes very unnoticed and what it provides, above all, is a very pleasant clean sensation. As if you had just showered with top quality soap and put on a light Rose Milk bodysuit, then dressing in freshly washed clothes with good quality talcum powder softener. I have to admit that it is not my favorite perfume but it is a very pleasant perfume ideal as a signature perfume and for everyday use. Although the olfactory profile might seem like a "lady's" perfume, nothing could be further from the truth. Cherry powdery exerts a halo of elegance on anyone who wears it, being especially attractive to my taste on men's skin. Now that summer is coming it is a very interesting option! I totally get cherry, the lactonic notes and of course powder but the most refined luxury powder. It’s very easy to wear, lasts all day, and with over 200 bottles this is my first huge compliment getter. The cherry does fade and it dries sweet and powdery. I love this brand. I could wear coffee addict fall/winter and this the rest of the time. I won’t of course because, like you, I am a compulsive perfume addict, but for this quality and price you’ll be hard pressed to find better. The last 4 releases are fire!🔥

I don't care what anyone says... this is really good and currently is my favorite from the house. It literally smells like a cherry rose macaron dipped in cold frothy milk. Not overly sweet... but just enough to get the job done. Ohhh and the performance is excellent... silage... longevity are wayyyy beyond average. Pro Tip - layer with BBW Cherry Tart and Macaron Rosé by Le Monde Gourmand and you are in heaven 😌

I really like this one. I tried both pear gelato and powder cherry together. I was thinking pear gelato is a fun scent, whereas powder cherry is on the serious side. This is a scent you want to wear on a serious romantic date or even in the office, business meetings, etc. This scent is heavy on the powder so you must like the smell of powder.

Will be so clear: i am in love! cherry but not so boozy, soft but not so dusty strong but not so overpowering. Balance in this perfume is 10/10. Very well blended. IG: heresniffhappens

Cherry Powder is not a sweet gourmand cherry, but a dry, bitter, a bit tart cherry, with powdery notes (like baby powder). In the background, some sweetness from the macaron is slightly noticeable. I swear, at this stage it’s one of the most intense from the house, with strong sillage and lasting power. However, when it dries down, just about 15 minutes later, a soft cherry soap smell comes out to stay, as a perfect scent for after the shower and make this extremely pleasant clean sensation last on your skin much longer. Like an elegant, expensive soap. I find it an interesting option for very hot days, when some of the usual perfumes appear to be too sticky and you even can’t stand them. And of course, the normal soaps don’t stay long enough. After just 15 minutes, Cherry Powder leaves on your skin a fresh soapy smell that last and last, and you feel super clean, as you’ve just had an amazing bubble bath. Despite having cherry and macaron accords in it, I wouldn’t say it’s a gourmand perfume, it’s not an edible cherry, but a bitter, dry and soapy one. And you must like powder. That being said, it’s a really fresh one for super hot and humid days, quite uplifting and not overwhelming at all, and with a very clean vibe.

It's not the sweet juvenile cherry some people would think it to be, so I understand the negative reviews, but to me it's an addictive scent. Cherry powder is an unexpected take on "clean scents" with a hint of a cold effect. It combines comfort and luxury, to the point where it reminds me of the perfume oil they have in a sauna I used to go to in Germany. Definitely a scent I would expect on a woman with smooth skin that holds an embrace longer than expected. I would recommend it to people who are looking for a subtle, non controversial floral scent with a bit more depth. My only critique is that the sillage isn't great which can be seen as an opportunity to make it a more intimate scent for bedtime for example, but is a big minus point for me personally.

Fresh and powdery. The perfect scent for a hot day and a compliment getter. It really does smell like baby powder but without the sour note I seem to experience with baby powder. It is far more fragrant and floral. The first time I wore it I was certain I smelled that sour note but it seems to have disappeared during subsequent wears. I don't think you can safely judge this scent by the first wear. I would suggest you give it a couple of chances.

Yummy cherry to start then fades quickly to fruity powder. Nice, but I would have liked the cherry to stick around.

There are so many cherry scents on the market and a lot of them are alike. But Cherry Powder is a completely different story. It is truly uniqe, but as most reviewers have pointed out, cherry is not the dominant note, it way far in the back and gives impression of some distant cherry gummy or compote, but not at all sweet. It is mainly strong powder, perhaps even a touch soapy. It is even a bit unpleasant to me after the initial spray, but overall it is not a bad scent. My only two problems are: 1. If you are a gourmand lover or expect a desert like scent - you might be disappointed (but the other two releases will have your cravings satisfied - Pear Gelato and Crème Brulee are absolutely stunning). 2. I go severely nose bling on Cherry Powder. The scent is there but I hardly smell it on myself. Though I must admit that I am not a huge fan of powdery scents, with a few exceptions (Attar Collection 👀). And Cherry Powder simply doesn't vibe with my personality, I think it would suit a less goofy, less quirky person.

‘Cherry Powder’ by Theodoros Kalotinis is just what it promises. Cherry, with powder. This is light and slightly tart, but so powdery that it is almost only sweet. This smells like a cherry flower, not the actual cherry. But at the same time, it could just smell like a cherry gummy candy. It is good enough, but I feel like the powder is just too heavy. It feels like it is a sweet and slightly juvenile cherry that they tried to salvage with a powder note. Now it has ended up as an expired make up product or hair spray that have been sitting in the cabinet for 50 years. In spite of that it is still wearable, but it is nothing more than just okay.

Cherry Powder by Theodoros Kalotinis promises a cherry-infused powdery scent, but the cherry note vanishes as soon as you spray the perfume and it hits your skin. What's left is an overwhelming powdery scent that smells very clean—reminiscent of home cleaning supplies and a sterile bathroom. It's not the powdery cherry fragrance I was hoping for and lacks the appeal I initially expected.

Got this as a sample. I was excited by the milk and macaron notes, and I already like some cherry perfumes and powdery perfumes as well. Unfortunately, this just didn't hit the mark for me. It's a bit of a medicinal cherry, and for me the milk and macarons didn't come through at all. Just straight cherry medicine and powder.

I did not like this one at all. It opens with a super tart cherry that has no sweetness to it. Very sharp. Then the powder comes in, which I don't usually dislike but in this is smells very old, and very medicinal. On dry down it smells like the lumber section of home depot. Not sure why. On the plus side, it did LAST ALL DAY. even after trying to remove with soap. Not for gourmand lovers.

I personally do not pick up on anything cherry, or remotely edible for that matter. I tried Pear Gelato and liked it, so this was kind of a disappointing second impression. It smells like what I think paint thinner smells like, and the powdery elements take this in more of a cleaning-agent direction rather than an edible one.

I mean, it's in the name- it's cherries and powder... So don't buy this if you don't like cherries or powder :P However, the powder in this smells kind of off to me, it's more like generic "powder" scented deodorant than a nice cosmetic powder. Exactly what @Candied Chaos said!

After initially loving this, then enduring it, then just giving it another chance, I have decided to part ways with it. Even one single spray is overpowering to the point I can't enjoy the fragrance. No cherry, just powder and heavy duty bathroom cleaner.

This fragrance reminds exactly of the Vintage Secret Deodorant Spray in the light blue aerosol can. Powder bomb with a tart cherries dusting somewhere in the background. If you want to smell like powder deodorant this is it!

I tested it 3 times. No cherry. Not at all. It smells like nivea cream and sour yogurt that has been left in the sun for too long. Im glad I bought only 2ml sample.

The initial “powder” smell is very plasticy for me. Once that goes away it’s just alright. Vintage soap but not the kind you want.

Ok ill set the scene for you... You are expecting macarons, Cherry, some powder, like yum! What you got on the first spray? A flashback to grandmas bathroom the soapy and powdery scent that would smack you hard in the face (HARD!) Not gonna lie it might sound better than what it is, FYI I hate soapy powdery grandma bathrooms! Like a lot.... It's so strong too omg, had this strength been in any of the other TK scents I'd be so happy, it's borderline beastmode. It lasted through 4 scrubs and hand washings. I'm so sorry Theodoros Kalotinis, I love your scents but this one is just a powdery and soapy mess. Where are the Cherry?? Where are the macarons? Where are that dusty sugary powderiness from a wonderful macaron? It's not here 😭 I'm so sad yo, this was gonna be my macaron perfume!! Please don't think this is gonna be a gourmand It's not.... I have to say, I don't mind some powdery notes at all, but this.... ughhh awful.

On paper this sounds incredible - I love cherry, I love a good powdery fragrance. On skin, this is a hot mess. I say that with confidence as everyone I've shown this to has immediately turned their nose up at it. It is a bizarre fragrance, the "cherry" is like someone described to an alien what they smell like. This is the first cherry fragrance where the cherry note smells nothing like any form cherry. The powdery aspect has a weird dampness to it, it's hard to explain. It's not a light, iris type powder, nor is it "compact make-up" dense powder. Really, really strange. I definitely recommend sampling before buying!

Horrendous! But reminds me of something I can't clearly recall. Soapy, tart, cherry blossom/cherry, I dunno, just a mess. Smells like something from the dollar store. The first fragrance I tried from this brand and trust I will not be buying anything from them EVER. This is why it is so important to not release something that sucks, yes, they can be a quick cash grab but it tarnishes your reputation so badly. Many of these niche "perfume" houses gonna learn......Threw this in the trash...Embarrased to even sell this on..

AWFULLY DISGUSTING!! I tried 6 TK scents today, and this one projects the most, unfortunately, because it does not smell like a perfume at all. I would call it “Cheap Shampoo Left in a Dirty Beach Shower.” It has this weird Baby Johnson’s oil vibe that I find really disturbing. I do not care if it’s inexpensive, I would not take it even for free. Thank God it’s not in the 150€ price range.

The cherry is overtaken by the powder. This has a very chemical/artificial scent to it. It has the scent feeling of bar hand soap. I doused myself with another scent to dull this down.

Didn't like it. Smelled like cherry cough syrup on opening, got really powdery on the drydown. Not a fan overall but definitely fits it's name.

I liked this enough to buy it. Not every scent in the line has worked on me, and I'd tried most of them. I don't have anything quite like this one. It's pretty much cherry-scented powder, and the more I sniff it, the more I like it. It's very different from other cherry offerings that are so popular now. This doesn't pull sweet, gourmand and syrupy. It also isn't smoky and dark. It's like a clean, slightly soapy powder that is scented with cherry, no extreme sweetness, just clean. I'm not getting any of the lactonic notes at all, maybe a very slight creaminess in the background. This is not for everyone, however, especially if the expectation is the most famous of cherry scents. This will be nice to wear this summer, as it is cherry that is not overwhelming, and is light, clean and dry. I feel that if I'm overly hot this summer, this will help to temper the heat and humidity.

Jeez, so many cherry scents!!! There is inflation on the market. But this cherry powder is special. It really smells like dried bitter cherry powder. The first perfume I found some resemblance to ,would be Black Perfecto. It is the same dark, complex perfume with a strong licorice infusion. In Cherry Powder there is powder, a lot of powder. But don't think about the notes of powdered almonds, nor the notes of cosmetic powder like make-up. It is the smell of raw powder, like talcum powder. Which seems to irritate your nostrils and make you sneeze. He is strong, intense, has attitude. It's like he's wearing you. Honestly, I think it's Kalotinis' best fragrance. It deserves the niche name. 10/10.

The perfume just came out TODAY!!!!...Why there are so many " Reminds me of"? Are you serious?Have you even smelled it? Dont think so...... Just because of the cherry...? Such BS... Ps: unless everyone working for this brand felt like commenting that the perfume is a dupe of Lost Cherry 🍒

I don’t get any cherry from it, personally. On my skin, this comes across as a very tart lemon furniture cleaner. I actually enjoy clean scents and don’t mind cleaner-like notes, but this was not at all what I expected from something called Cherry Powder.

I really really wanted to like this but it ended up just giving me a headache. I had to spray the room with something else because it was still lingering and made me nauseous. I like cherry stuff but I just think the powder aspect was too much lol

High pitched cherry note, like cough drops, it gets better with time and then feels similar to La Petite Robe Noire, but more crude and somewhat soapy. I don't smell the powder notes, it feels a little bit metallic somehow. I prefer LPRN.

Very powdery, babydoll heads kind of cherry scent. Not your run-of-the-mill cherry. It's innocent, pure, and delicate. Another beautiful concoction from Theodoros Kalotinis.

This reminds me of Camay bar soap from the 80s...very powdery and soapy to my nose. High on powder, low on cherry.
