Lilium Blume

I own hundreds of perfumes. I saw the ad about all the compliments and thought okay, I will try the travel size. On first spray, it did not immediately wow me, until I let it dry down and wait an hour or so. My chemistry brought out the most beautiful thing! I kept asking myself what smells so good. Well, I am sold and will order a full bottle when my small size of gone. It really is that good The lily and Jasmine play nicely together and almost bring out a mineral quality. I can swear there are more notes not listed above. The patchouli adds nice warmth so that it isn’t just a floral. Nothing is too sharp, and there is a nice softness here. There is a mild sweetness, but nothing too much. This is well-blended, has good sillage and lasts quite long. I think it is a good value. Very nicely done. Added bonus- no musk, or at least none listed. I am so tired of it.

This really is such a beauty. Vintage-ish white floral, with more. Not vintage in dusty way, vintage in a nostalgic way. The patchouli gives subtle depth. Slightly (very slightly) sweet. Strong, but close. Has a freshness (I don't mean musk, I don't find musk "clean" or "fresh"). Like the air after a rain. Naturally fresh. Fairly linear, but really nice. Perfectly blended, smells very high end. Performance could be longer (2 ~3 hours) but it's so lovely reapplication is an excuse to enjoy that moment all over again. This would be a serious contender for a wedding day. Update: ordered a back-up bottle Update: Love it more and more. Performance is improving (4~ 6 hours). Deep dry down, skin scent is beautiful too. Autumn is arriving and temps are 10° lower, and this is getting compliments. Has become one of my favorites.

Oh, this beautiful, beautiful thing. This is a powdery floral, with a nostalgic air to it, somehow it reminds me of those prints of fairies in the woods. It's light but strong, feminine, very wearable for the day. It's fresh but also sweet and "cute", not cloying at all. Notes are very well blended and hard to distinguish, Lily and Jasmine but also ?iris ?violet ?musks something sugary and powdery that feels kind of "vintage" to me but in quite an energetic way, it's as I said a light but strong fragrance... Lasts very well and projects excellently. Great for daytime.

I just received this today. I had previously gotten a sample and loved it, so I ordered a full bottle with the shower gel. It is so pretty and clean smelling. If it gets better with time, I can't wait to see how it matures. This is definitely signature scent worthy. I also think it is a bit if a beast. I had it on my hand and washed my hands well - the scent was still there. I usually associate beast mode with big dark scent profiles, but this is a feminine, very clean, and floral fragrance. So nice! If you like florals, get your nose on this one.

ElinorLavish, regarding my review being fake, you're welcome to check my profile and read my other reviews. I assure you it is quite genuine, as am I. I have no idea if you'll care for this fragrance, but my appreciation and review of it are genuine. Next time maybe just order a discovery instead of accusing people of being fake or spam accounts.

Never tried Thomson Carter before but I smelled it at my work and chased down the woman wearing it. I absolutely love this scent. It's floral without punching you in the face but it has the patchouli kicking in after a few minutes. Lasts all day and not too bad for the office. I spray it on before bed so I can wrap myself in warmth.

It smells VERY nice. Clean girl vibe ❤️ BUT it does not last. A couple of hours, and it is gone. I use 2-3 ml (approx 30 sprays) when I apply, and that should be enough 🙈😅 But it's not, sadly. I reapply, but when my bottle is empty, I will not buy again

This is good but let it sit for 6 months or, I find it a touch soapy, clean but deep at the same time. Not fresh as such but very clean! I like it a lot,and I have a huge collection 👌

For me this is an airy, fresh scent. Smells like newly washed clothes and blooming springflowers. Absolut banger!

This was the standout in the otherwise underwhelming TC sample set of 6. So much so that it almost felt as if sourced from a different company. Thompson Carter are clearly excellent at marketing and their packaging is impressive. Sadly, on my skin their scents are very uninspiring with the exception of this one. Lilium Blume is a fresh, pretty and surprisingly unique scent. I really can't find a comparison and that's quite an achievement. I'd be interested to see a complete list of notes because there are certainly more than those listed. Will it become my signature scent? Unlikely. It's currently a like but not a love, and I have so many others that pull at my heart strings. But it's early days (many of my great scent loves grew on me gradually) and I'll be interested to see how my sample develops with more time.

The ad for this perfume came up on Facebook and I was sufficiently intrigued to look it up on this site. Despite the girl in the ad saying she had worn it for years, I find Lilium Blume was only brought out in 2023. This, coupled with the latest 2 reviews below, which appear to have been written by the same hand, makes me wonder if this scent is simply a triumph of marketing over substance. So much so that I can't even bring myself to get a sample size. I would love to be wrong and believe it's as good as the reviewers say. If you have tried it please review it and prove me wrong. I hate being suspicious of anything I read in this wonderful community.

PWPPWP, thanks for taking the time to clear this up. I'm still fairly new to this forum so did not think to look at your (very wide ranging) other reviews. Clearly my suspicions of the integrity of the reviews were unfounded. I apologise wholeheartedly. Looks like I need to get a sample set.

I love the fragrance. Just first used it today. I am a tad disappointed though that it does not linger longer than 3 hours on my skin. I had high expectations I guess but all in all, a beautiful fragrance.

Best thing to say about this: there’s a slight sense of petrichor, but not in an urban Way, and not in a nature way, it’s the petrichor of a mowed lawn and the kind of flowers that bees don’t like. To me , there’s a distinct smell of plastic doll and scented rubber erasers, it’s sticking to the sleeves of my woolen jacket and I absolutely dislike it.

About one week ago I received my bottle of Lilium Blume (Thomson Carter) and got rather disappointed. I didn ́t find it clean or fresh, more "sharp" and almost strong. - So I sighed and thought I will write here and tell you that this one was not for me. And now, today, I gave it another try and now I just love it!!! It is smooth and fresh and I had to check that it was the same bottle (and it was of course). Can anybody here explain to me what is happening - is the chemistry in my body changing so often and so much? I have experienced this some times before - always starting with not liking the parfume and then after some time find it absolutely wonderful. Never the opposite. Anyhow, now I really like Lilium Blume and I find it exactly strong enough not to be just in the background, but not too strong - a little bit sweet, just so it is "soathing" (for me) fresh but not sharp and absolutely no musky (I hate musk on my skin) and the dry down is slow and "gentle", I like this one! I really like this one!

I have to disagree with the positive reviews. In my opinion, these perfumes are significantly overpriced, and the quality does not justify the price at all. The longevity is very disappointing. On my skin, the fragrance disappears very quickly, and considering how expensive these perfumes are, I expected much better performance. Honestly, I've used much cheaper perfumes that lasted longer. As for the scent itself, I don't think it's anything exceptional. It's pleasant, but quite ordinary and certainly not worth the premium price. There are many fragrances on the market that smell better, last much longer, and cost considerably less. To me, this brand seems to rely heavily on marketing and advertising rather than the actual quality of the product. Unfortunately, I am very disappointed with this purchase and would not buy these perfumes again.

Smells like straight-up dryer sheets. I'm giving it a 2 out of 10, only for the people who like laundry scents. The only fragrance I like in this collection is Smoke & Mirrors. It has become my husband's signature scent. It has a wonderful leather quality.

Got it in a sample set of 6. Reminds me of the YSL Libre line. It’s very close. I wonder if these fragrances are undercover dupes or inspired by fragrances. I personally think they are. It’s good, nothing ground breaking. It’s very close to Libre.
