I would argue that it's hard to dislike this scent if you like floral scents, perhaps if you have a more advanced nose and are a fan of more complex perfumes, this likely lands a little dull and underwhelming. It is a mass appealing, basic citrusy floral scent, and to my nose is very unisex. For a male, picture a crisp white shirt on a nice, cool, summer's day. Sleeves rolled up, top button undone, probably working in an office surrounded by glass and sunshine. More personally, I draw an emotional response to the smell of my grandparents bathroom. This isn't to say it's a scent for the older generation, they are very modern for their age and their bathroom is stunning, I would happily wear this in the above scenario as a male in my mid 30s. But it does invoke memories of potpourri and clean fresh white sheets hanging out to dry. Performance needs more of a stress test, but my initial impressions are similar across the Thomson Carter line, which is 1-2 hours projection 4-5ish on the skin. I do agree with some of the other reviews, the name is misleading. I was envisaging something darker, maybe a bit seedier, a bit more romantic or alluring. This scent is not a romantic scent, it's a scent to smell clean and fresh, and I would argue a safe blind buy if you like florals.

The name of this fragrance is very, very wrong. This is not red, it's blue and white and transparent and fresh. And this is not a room, it's most definitely an open window. This is a strong, airy, slightly herby but sweet enough musk. It's very lightly floral. One of those scents that smells different in everyone and it's much more beautiful than Glossier You. It reminds me of Caudalie The Des Vignes. Excellent for day time and lasts for ages. They should seriously change the name.

Agree with @Marie76. The name made me think of The Shining and I expected heaviness, darkness, blood, and dramatic hotel vibes. This is bottled sunshine. I'd add yellow to the color mix Marie suggested. I layered over some white musk and it's brightening my whole day. The florals are breezy and subtle under the citrus, adding some faint complexity and middle-note uniqueness. Anyone can wear this.

A bit of a dud. Imagine breaking into a series of chemists and pouring their dullest, most generic budget dupe aftershaves into a bucket, giving it a good swirl, and bottling the result. This is that juice. Truly underwhelming. From the 6 samples I tried, I've concluded TC have 2 decent scents, (lilias blume and rouge avenue) the rest are pretty poor.

its alright, but its so generic its basically what everyone thinks of when you say "perfume"
