Not available in the US yet, but well worth seeking out. This is MAGIC on cold nights. Creamy, lactonic coffee with caramel and toasted almonds in the opening, and then the woods and earthy notes come in to really set this apart from other gourmands. The whole experience is balanced with a masters touch of funk from the woody Indian oud in the base and the slightly medicinal Cambodian oud and patchouli in the mid. I could see how someone would get the impression that this smells like Kilians Black Phantom if they smelled it off a test strip quickly while inundated with other fragrances at a perfume counter, but if you put this on skin you'll quickly realize that this is a completely different fragrance from Black Phantom. This is unisex but definitely leans masculine because of the darker notes in the mid and base and, like most of the Terenzi collection, is monstrous in performance. Paolo Terenzi is one of the most underappreciated perfumers in the industry at the moment and this is another shining example of him at his best. Don't try the "inspired" Terenzis like Orion or Porpora, try Paolo's original creations like this, Chimaera, Mirach, Dubhe Assoluto, or Velorum and then pass your judgement on the house.

This is one of my all time favorite coffee scents. Great for Fall/Winter. Really gives Oriental coffee vibes to me. I love the oud in it as well. I'm surprised it's not more well liked or talked about. It is a nice milky, nutty, sweet caramel-vanilla coffee with earthy notes and oud. It almost smells chocolatey to me. It would be nice to have chocolate as an actual note but still really good. High quality oils as well.

I cannot wait to get my hands on a bottle of Chi. I'm not afraid to blind buy this because Tiziana Terenzi is such a reputable niche house. I'm so excited to see how the blends of the notes will make me feel and smell, luxurious maybe?

If you were ever like. Oh man i wish black phantom wasnt so expensive, and i wish it was a bigger more beastly intense version of the fragrance, and i wish it came in 100ml. Well surprise, this is that fragrance. Its an extrait version of black phantom but think of it like an “intense” version. 90% similar makes black phantom not only redundant but a silly purchase as you can get chi at discounters for like 100 bucks. That being said if youre someone with a very particular nose who has never been satisfied with a “this fragrance smells just like” comparison dont blind buy this lol.

You step outside and take a quick stroll to the woods. About 10 paces in, you find the right location and start digging. In a few moments, you hit your mark. Finally, you reach down and grab an old metal coffee can that you hid your favorite caramels in. Should you eat them now? I am on the fence with this one. After several hours, it is still pleasant. I guess I could file it under "will get if the price is right". Won't jump for it, but may find an excuse to wear.

To me this is primarily an oud (+fruitchouli) fragrance, not as gourmand as it sounds (or how people make it to be), but it is rich and slightly syrupy in the beginning—definitely worth a try.

Chi starts of as a very earthy, coffee oud. As it dries down, i start to smell a little vanilla in the background and it's only until complete dry down, hours later that I smell the milky, caramel vanilla. I don't smell much else. I am not a lover of oud and really earthy notes so this doesn't work for me. A shame that you don't get to the final dry down scent sooner.

Oooof, this is definitely not a blind buy! I like most of the TT perfumes but not this one. It literally smells like dirt. Reminds me that I should repot my plants. In drydown is nice, not "buy-the-bottle" nice ... It's more on the male side of scents, I can imagine that this raw dirt vibe could be perceived as sexy if a dude was wearing this.

The notes from the description are definitely there. But with the same notes, I could have smelt way better - way more tasty. It is rich and sweet, I get the caramel, the coffee, vanilla, patchouli, milk, also oud and even earth and truffle. It is quite intoxicating, even aphrodisiacic scent (similar vibe to Absolute Aphrodisiac by Initio), esven smells a bit animalic but at the same time very rich and sweet. Only issue for me, the opening smells like fresh human poop (truly sorry about this comparison, but it is the most accurate for me personally). And even through the wear I can feel some cows poop note... Again, sorry :( It reminds quite a lot other perfume with similar notes - Insomnia and Black Phantom, only these two don't have this annoying poop quality. Tbh, Insomnia is way better - nicer smell, no issues with opening and beast performance!

Oof. Not for me. I understand the Black Phantom comparison but that perfume is way way better smelling in my opinion. This is very earthy and wet. Just falls into the middle notes instantly. Not sure why I was dying to try this for the longest time, I think it was those top notes but I should have known the mid and base ones would be wildly overpowering. You can sample this through scentsplit.

To me it doesn’t smell like Black Phantom, but to Molinard Cuir + toffee flavored wet ground coffee (the soil notes?). Maybe again these wet dirt notes give olfactory illusion of delicate brown French leather infusion? All in all, don’t blind buy it based on the similarity votes here. Cold weather scent. Unusual, earthy, sweet, warm, unisex. Doesn’t knock my socks off, but evokes my curiosity to revisit it. And to revisit my Molinard Cuir :) and see how a dash of caramel goes with it :)

One of the undoubtably dirty smelling fragrances out there. In the opening the combination of the earthy notes, truffle, milk and indian oud are doing more to hurt this fragrance than benefit it. If they got rid of the indian oud and just had cambodian oud in the base, I think this fragrance could be a lot better, but the opening is just too rough to get past and it lingers as this fragrance dries. Also definitely stay away from this fragrance if you are on the fence about patchouli.

I got a chance to sample this at Neiman it smells absolutely rich it smells almost identical to Black Phantom by Kilian but it is absolutely beast mode in comparison and projects so well i can tell it will last all day. That’s something i always found that Kilian didn’t perform like I wanted though even though I absolutely love the smell it’s so intoxicating. I hope this helps for anyone interested!

this is a dirty dirty perfume it smells very ARABIC traditional OUD fragrance with its beautiful stinky barnyard smell mixed with the sweet caramel and coffee notes I think its beast mode lasts 24 hours its damn beautiful this doesn't even smell like Kilian idk why ppl have bad noses to compare fragrances

It smells like spoiled/sour milk in the opening spray. Glad I used a tester strip because Blech. It’s the first time I didn’t bother keeping the test strip for the dry down. Never again!!

I absolutely can’t wait to lay my hands on this one. I have a full bottle of Kaff and I totally love all single stage of my wearing experience. Chi I am sure will be one to love as well.
