Vele

Out of my collection of 60-70 fragrances, this is my #1, this is the fragrance I would most wish to be, could I pick any. . This is the most delicious island vacation perfume, so complex with so many layers. It's a perfume that I will only wear on limited occasions, in warm weather and hopefully somewhere dreamy, so that it always holds this magical spot in my heart. The most upscale feeling powdery fig, green jungle leaf notes, coconut and mango...transforms slowly over the arc of the day to reveal such luscious changing faces. This lasts all day though how it ends is not at all how it starts, but I love it all! Before smelling this I didn't have a concept of what "well blended" really meant. After smelling this I have been enlightened, this perfume is the definition of well blended. As some have said this may not be a safe blind buy especially if you do not like fig. Somehow I don't see fig in the notes on here but to me this is a Greek island meets gorgeous Polynesia fig scent. With Tiziana Terenzi I noticed there are some fragrances (such as Libra, Orza and Tabit) that all share a "Kirke/Erba Pura" DNA and I am not a fan of those..I thought it important to say Vele is not one of them! It does have a lovely passionfruit musk but not at all like the Kirke musk. This is the only fragrance of my collection that I actually just bought a backup of because I can't imagine life now without being able to smell this beauty. Masterpiece!

This has been a lovely experience. I've got to admit I didn't quite know what to expect looking at the line up of notes. It opens very leafy and green. I could have sworn there was patch in this. It literally takes you on an olfactory journey through a lush green jungle. Actually it's an idyllic fantasy version of a jungle. No rotting vegetation to be found. First and foremost this is a green leafy scent. It's hard to identify notes but you can just about do it with a great deal of concentration. When I saw all the tropical fruit notes listed I braced myself. Having lived in the Far East for many years I was all too familiar with these fruits. They have strong identities. Here though they are used with great mastery. You never think it's one of those tropical fruit cocktails fragrances. The fruit and flowers work in harmony together. Not one note standing above the other. Weaving together behind the green leafiness. The fir note is a master stroke. It bolsters the green aspect of this scent. Fresh coconut is not listed but my goodness you feel certain it is present in the background. I liken this to a Henri Rousseau jungle. Pristine, colourful and bright. A rich scent yet not heavy and cloying. It's an easy to love scent. I wish I hadn't tested it. Now I adore It! I get average longevity and sillage.

First of all, let me say my nose is not well trained enough to identify the diversity of notes listed here, but I'll react anyway. On first sniff, I got a note NOT in this bottle--it is creamy, milky coconut essence and sweetened jasmine. There is enough greenness to keep things from skewing too heavy, but perhaps I'm reacting against a recent experience with a heavier tropical, Bond 9 Central Park West. In the Bond, ylang-ylang suffocates and feels immature-- it's an in-your-face party girl vibe that's not nearly as well blended. Vele is all grown up and far more subtle--she is seamless and creamy, and the floral notes are unusual and unlike any other combination in my collection. The overall effect of this perfume is more exotic, milky floral than fruity on my skin (if this is mango, it's a whisper light touch). The overall tropical effect achieves a bit of depth from the vanilla and amber. Vele isn't a party girl--she lives on the island and wears a flower behind her ear, as natural as her surroundings. I am utterly beguiled by the uniqueness of this one.

Tiziana Terenzi Vele is another super hit by that brand! WOW! WOW! WOW! It's so uplifting and natural, happy juice! On my skin there is wonderful fruity cocktail with lovely natural green notes, that gives me very bright and positive vibe. And after hour this heavenly opening, I can sense amazing mix of gorgeous fig and gentle, rounded coconut. I have no words to describe how beautiful and well blended is Vele... So inviting and soft, the green notes are so well balanced by the fruity cocktail and the mild nutty coconut! The coconut is not sunscreen lotion type or whatever in that style. On my skin it's like nutty-yummy coconut. For me, Vele is a perfect example of excellent summer fragrance that has character and at the same time is easy to wear anytime at any situation. If you love modern type of green and uplifting complex summer fig scents, Vele is for you. Great work by Tiziana Terenzi!

Wowzers!!! I took a chance on Vele and purchased a FB. I'm wearing it now and I must say that this fragrance is beautiful! I've worn hundreds of fruity scents and the vast majority were very linear, but still enjoyable. But Vele, is a whole vibe within itself. How it starts is not how it ends. Vele is complicated and sophisticated at the same damn time! I am really enjoying how it opens with a strong burst of green fig, faint sweetness. Then the tanginess of the mango and red currant show up while the fir note dances quietly around the perimeter. After a while the middle notes of rose, jasmine, hyacinth and the fruitiness of the Umbu-Cajá | Taperebá step on the scene. I have found the one--- for those hot summer days and nights. It's the heat that makes the fragrance come alive.

This is a very creamy perfume. Not very much my style but i wear it happily! Very fruity and a bit heavy, not a happy fresh fruity perfume but more of a "lady on vacation" kind of perfume. I think it leans more feminine and i would say it is for spring or summer evenings; needs some breeze to open up and smell tropic; this will make the jasmine shine and lower the intensity of the fruits. The passionfruit & mango create a really creamy feel that with the heat it doesnt work very well (at least on my skin) , creates a heavy fruity smell which I dont like. Update: on a day that is not very hot i smell the green notes and fir intensely, reminds me of summers in my country house in the woods! It is lovely 🥰!!

My first Tiziana Terenzi was Cassiopea, and that was a wonderful fragrance... But this one... This one is really splendid fragrance. I cannot detect how many fruits they use on the opening, i just know that it's green and fruity, very luscious and freshly yummy... The fruit is always there from the start to the finish, its just that in the dry down they are no longer the main player, they play in the background while giving the spotlight to vanilla and heliotrope... And this perfume stays at least 10 hours on me, with room-filling silage for the first 4 hours, and then it is still detectable within the arms length. I'm totally in love.

Biggest suprise - usually tropical for me means yeeaaa! Light fresh, fruity, happy holiday vibes. But this one - oh God... Sure its a big holiday vibe - but not a cheap one. It so unusual, so well blended, balanced and comfy🧡🧡 Bringing me back to Saona Island - Dominican Republic. Big as me thick, juicy green leaves, coconut cream and some tropical fruit refreshing drink on a hot beach day. It smells like memories even though i didnt know this fragrance then. Its one of most beautifull fragrances that i ever discovered.

Initial impression is backyard moss and damped algae on tree bark, it's quite vegetal and green, with some floral notes as supporting role, it's a bit bitter, ZERO fruits, my nose went anosmic to this concoction pretty quickly if oversprayed. Good performance and longevity. Vele smells a bit unusual, very niche and not your typical mass-appealing designer scent. I didn't like it at first, but after a few wearing I like it, i think it's unique and diversify my collection. Most definitely not a safe blind buy!

It's the best Terenzi for me- I feel lots of cocos with green notes and exotic fruits. Very sweet but deep, complex and extremely feminin beauty. LOVE!!! (I see some people comparing this to Heeley Cocobello- a little yes but Vele is more sweeter and complex and feminin- Cocobello is an unisex and too green for me). Some people asked about longevity: on me it has a big sillage for 2 hours then settles down and will be skin scent. After 4 hours I sprayed again... (I like stong scents).

So this is love💖. It's like nothing else I have or wore. Green, fresh but sensuously so because of the luscious fruits and creaminess of flowers, the heliotrope in particular which is not powdery here but nutty and delicious. A wonderful summer fragrance, complex and bright, a feast for the senses. It changes in the drydown, the exuberance of the start turns into musky, slightly vanillic amber, some fruity aspects still present. A beauty through and through.

I think this is my favorite TT fragrance because it is so unique and artistic; it is soft, powdery, and sweet. It has a fig and coconut accord mixed in with other fruity notes. It is also floral, a little bit green and creamy. It smells like an expensive spa. I love all the fragrances in the white line because they don't have that heavy musk/woody base and they are softer wearing experiences. Such an underrated gem from this brand.

A beautiful scent profile! This is the only fruity perfume I own. Opens with a green note which is what I love the most. Quickly turns into a creamy passion fruit smell. The fruity smell is not over bearing, over ripe. I don’t like fruity perfume because of overt fruity smells. So this is right up my alley. I don’t get any mango but I get the papaya in dry down. Suitable for cool breezy spring-summer days or early fall days IMO.

Gorgeous green fig set in a creamy woody vanilla with slight rice milk/ coconut tones slowly and beautifully develops into a mango fragrance with hints of passion fruit and wood. Nice personal cloud of fragrance, long lasting, beautiful dry down. Sophisticated summer perfume.

I just love it! It definitely the TT dna for sure! But I just love it and it’s so unusual which is beautiful Green and woody is what I get. I will definitely be wearing this in the summer. Longevity is awesome as are all TT fragrances. Highly recommended 10/10

I’m guessing I’ll be the first one. This one is most beautiful and unique from the white collection. It starts with fresh green notes. Then all I can smell is fig and coconut. I think it will be great for summer. Good job Terenzi!

The green and fruit blend is fantastic. As a guy i'll be rocking this in the summer for sure.

The most luxurious baby powder perfume out there.

Opening is all fir. Fresh fir surroundings with brisk air blowing the smell of really distant fruit nuances, but more like the skin of the fruits to you (mostly green mango and tart forest berries that may not be edible). Smells like rosemary could also be in here with that Tiziana Terenzi musk that isn’t too sharp in here. In the dry-down, papaya which has a subtle sweetness, powdery rose, creamy ylang ylang and heliotrope balance the fresh fir greenness that is being supported by hyacinth. This is a digestible green and herbal fragrance that is still creamy and feminine in a way, but I can see either wearing this. I don’t dislike this at all but can never see myself using it as I get small headaches with this one. Projection is moderate but longevity long. Side note: I saw someone comment this gives pine scented cleaning product and I can see that.

Wow, what an interesting scent. Definitely green, as in fresh cut grass green. And definitely tropical. Sort of like a nice fresh gras layered over the FCUK Friction. It's a piña colada scent, but maybe a bit more substantial than Friction . . . I'm also getting a bit more depth and development, and as the green fades into the overall composition, it leaves a very pleasant, refreshing, and unique summer tropical scent . . . Right up my alley. . . Almost. I admit I'm more demanding with more expensive (over $100) scents. If this was a cheapie, I'd buy it in a heartbeat and thoroughly enjoy it. But I still don't know that the scent justifies the price, so for the time being, and since it falls into strong "like" territory rather than "love," it's likely a pass for me. But I'll finish the little spray sample and see if I change my mind.

My initial spray was Heaven on Earth. This is a stunning fragrance blend, made by the fairies from some never-to-be-seen paradise. The dripping fresh sap of fig leaves with the freshly pulped juice of exotic fruits, ooh la la! It reminded my of Xerjoff’s ‘Cruz Del Ser II’ layered with Profumum Roma’s ‘Ichnusa’. I knew a glowing review was upon me and I had to do it justice by wearing it for at least a day (or weeks) to get the full lowdown. But, after the first 30 minutes, it stopped singing and playing its angelic music and it’s suddenly become a quiet skin scent. How disappointing. What started out as The Greatest Showman has just packed-up and gone home. Oh well. I feel bereft. I’ll still remember the opening as absolutely brilliant. Alas...

This opens up very leafy. Fresh cut grass type leaf. Then it gets really sweet and there's something that gives this kick. I'm not sure what it is. Maybe the umbu caja? I've never smelled that note before so I'm not too sure. The sweetness dies down a bit, but the kick remains. Almost tickles my nose a bit. This is a nice fragrance...but I can't lie...it reminds me of bug spray. It has a bug spray vibe to it. Albeit, a nice bug spray. Update: it smells better in the air. It gives off bug spray vibes still, but it tapers off and the passionfruit and papaya cut through. There's also a spiciness. I believe it to be from the fir. It's almost pine needle like.

Didn't like this very much for the first hour (I think the ylang was too loud at first for me), but it really grew on me after the fruits came in: I smell a milky mango scent with hints of passion fruit and gooseberry. I can detect the fir and the flowers in the distance, but only if I concentrate and look for those notes. It's very well blended, and by the drydown no notes really stand out louder than the rest. I received a sample of this in a swap, having never heard of it before, so it was really neat to get to try something completely new!

I got this for a trip to Mexico. I was looking for something a bit more tropical and didn't really have anything like that. It reminds me a lot of Amouage Honour Woman, but where Honour is a bit more serious, clean, and sophisticated; this is more fun, flirtatious, and sweet. It's definitely tropical and the mango and passionfruit make it a point to announce their presence. It doesn't state any coconut in the notes, but I get a pina colada vibe with this. It's a lovely vacation/summer scent.

Initial spray, I only get coconut although its not listed in notes. After 1 hour, the mango note comes and lasted the whole day.

I get the green leave note, powerful and present with a creamy background. All the other notes I do not get. There may be a whispering of Mango and papaya, but you have to dig deep...I would not classify this as a fruity fragrance. Unisex green-creamy formulation. Low projection and longevity. 7/10

My first wear and I think it might be a bit too powdery and sweet on my skin. Will test it again.

Very interesting fragrance. I can detect the mango but not as strong as green leaves. Not a big fan of the green leaves. It does smell like fresh cut grass in the morning. First time wearing this. Will update my review. UPDATE: The dry down was amazing after wearing it for couple of hours. I smell sweet but not too sweet. Its probably coming from papaya passion fruit and vanilla. I really love the ending of this fragrance. But the opening is a pass for me. Maybe my nose is not use to it. Will give it another try maybe my nose will change the smell of the opening. So far the longevity is great. Last about 7 to 8 hours on my skin.

I tested a 2ml sample of this and just couldn't vibe with it. I am quite partial to a green note in fragrances, but this is a bit too green for my liking. It does smell really luxurious and expensive though, and it lasts all day with good projection. My friend absolutely loved it, so I think it's worth checking out if you're into tropical, (very) green scents.

There's a powerful 'bug-spray' note that makes up the sillage. Every comment I've received wearing this fragrance has been negative.

I get zero tropical notes from this, this is chopping vegetables while smelling pollen. This is GREEN, the greenest frag I’ve ever smelled.

There's a note here which is dry and paper-like (like papyrus??) and I can't have enough of it. I wish this note stayed there longer and the milky feeling carried on beyond the "woody" phase. I may seem like the longevity of the perfume is weak, but when I spray on a blotter and leave it - I can smell it every time I enter the room - for days. Which means that either skin eats this quickly or my nose gets used to it and can’t tell that everyone else can smell it just fine. Upon spraying - it opens bright and fresh. After the initial spray woody fig takes over, sprinkled with tropical fruits on a bed of creamy ylang-ylang (keeping them sweet and gentle, rather than tart), then the scent quiets and you can feel the heliotrope with a bit of fir (I seem to like many fragrances with fir's resinous slight woody greenness), but withing an hour or so it all dies down in a long lingering pleasant fruity milky musk (velvety - like in TT Draco). It's a very enjoyable fragrance and should we compare it to FB Angie (from the "reminds me of" section), Vele is more playful and sparkly, while Angie remains more woody and put together - yet feels sensual, refined, stable. Angie is for the office and Vele is for the weekend. Both amazing! It Vele is too woody for you, Mancera’s Pearl features the same fig, but with a green apple and pink rose on top, giving it a fresher and more uplifted feminine feel. If Vele is too green for you, but you like the musky top, try Draco (my favorite) - it’s fluffy soft and peachy (even though peach is not my favorite note).

Honestly, I fell in love with the note list and was scared I'd try it only to be disappointed. I certainly was not. This perfume starts out with crisp foliage, soft green fig and creamy ripe mango. There is a common statement made that coconut is an unlisted note, but this ignores that fig and mango are providing that characteristic. Then comes the fresh fir needles, which add to the lovely terpenic quality of the opening. There is also a tart hint of passionfruit and red berry. Two of my least favorite fragrance notes include heliotrope and ylang, but in the middle of Vele these don't read as they normally do. They come off as an addition to the tropical fruit, like banana or something. The inclusion of hyacinth adds another facet to its similarity to the more transparent Un Jardin Sur Le Nil by Hermes, while the green-grapey gooseberry (caja) keeps it from getting too far from fruit basket. The dry down is creamy (common thread) papaya and vanillic amber. This is so rich and evocative of Brazil, its colors and flavors. It also weirdly reminds me of a pine-scented green-glitter glue pen I used as a kid. In short, this is so worthwhile, and personally a combination of my favorite perfumes. If you enjoy Calyx by Clinique or Versense by Versace, give this a try, though you might need a sugar daddy to buy you the full bottle (it's T. Terenzi, after all).

I am going to second LanaD. I think this is the most beautiful and unique piece of the moon collection. My first impression was a no, when i sprayed it once at the Neiman Marcus counter, but i had already smelled like 10 perfumes by then. Never do this. I did smell green mangoes then and a bit of craziness. Like half of my collection, i basically blind bought this and im so happy i did. I sprayed it and immediately loved it. Think of a mango lassi. This beautiful fresh, green, creamy and sweet smell. This is very vanillic, green, thick, rich, smooth and blended to perfection. i love that this is not sour at all. Epic quality all the way. The Musk is the softest out of some of the other pieces in the moon collection. Head turning and sophistication in a bottle for summer. Day, even night in a white long gown. There arent many green perfumes that are so smooth and feminine. Im sure a guy can wear it... One thing is for sure, no one will smell like you and no one can call u basic with this. UPDATE: can someone please confirm their experience with longevity? This has non existent longevity and projection. Is this a defective batch that i got at a discounter? Or is this so soft and smooth where its not even a skin scent? Gorgeous yes, but gone 20 min later?

I got this a year ago as a random blind buy, and back then it smelled rather airy and with a nondescriptive tropical fruit note somewhere close to mango, and I didn't think much of it, I forgot I had this and went back to it since it's summer, and omg has it changed it opens up almost smoky and dirty, a smoky bitter overheated banana leaf, and after a couple minutes, the smoky bitter part leaves (hahahaa) and you're left with a very green banana leaf smell, paired almost 50/50 with the scent of creamy mango or granadilla easily my most unique tropical/summer scent, and I like this far more than when I first got it, but I do wish the banana leaf lingered a bit longer) definitely not for everyone, especially not for people looking for your typical fruity tiziana terenzi dna, and even me, as someone not too really into green fragrances, I quite like this

i blind bought it and was slightly jarred when i first tested it because the opening is so bitter. Smelling it up close, I had to scrunch my nose because this is potent and the initial blast is so unbelievably bitter. Then it mellows out into this tropical concoction that makes me think of a sun-drenched summer somewhere far away romantic and dreamy. compliment getter. you won't go unnoticed for sure. i wasn't expecting such a response, but i got feedback that it smells like baby powder, or something nostalgic and asked what I wear. I'm not sure about the baby powder comparison, but I did get at least four people tell me it smells like baby powder and that's a lot considering i barely wear this due to the bitter note. it smells luxurious and very well blended so it better be one amazing, luxury baby powder.

A very unique, tropical scent for sophisticated noses. Definitely green, the notes listed may seem a little deceiving. You won't get a tropical punch (with typical accompanying beach coconut found in many tropicals), it's natural, fresh, green, exotic, floral, rich and luxurious but not overbearing. Can also feel a little christmassy with what smells like sweet spices and subtle, quality pine (no wunderbaum here!) also feels very musky. Slight milky silky creamy quality. I'm not getting the exotic fruits individually at all, all very harmoniously blended. Update: Juicy mangoes. Today I get juicy, ripe mangoes! Great deal on Perfumedeal24, not sure yet about lasting power...

This perfume brings excitement and disappointment at the same time unfortunately. I love the heavy powder notes, with prominent fruits, that are not overwhelmingly sweet and come in just underneath the powder, as one briskly walks by. The blend is perfect. It projects very well and has great silage for hours, with only two sprays. The only thing that bothers me is the vanilla. Upon dry down, the vanilla presents itself. I don't want to end up smelling like a cake. While searching for another perfume with similar notes, minus the vanilla, I noticed that a lot of the Tiziana perfumes contain vanilla. So disappointed.

Green, Mossy, All spice, leafy, passionfruit, Pungent Herbal sticks. The inital blast is overbearingly green, and a bit spicy, this is too green for me, It's bitter and could pass as the newest green lysol cleaner. Fragrance is so subjective so this may be a wonderful gem for others, if you love mossy green, herbaly scents... Give this a try. I have sampled Tziana a number of times before and I am disappointed in the scent, it's a bit too unnisex and boring for me.

This is an interesting Summer juice, one that is very fruity and floral, maybe a bit femme for some but I believe I can pull it off. Time will tell. I smell fig, passion friut, mango, jasmine, vanilla. Musk and Amber are almost silent on my skin , but its only been on for 45 minutes. Try a decant first, I wouldn't say it is a blind bottle purchase. 7/10 for now, will update rating as it continues to develope on my skin

It opens creamy like a delicious ripe fig with some slight green element. Then develops into delicious fresh mango with fir in the background, passion fruit gives it a touch of sourness/fizziness. It’s absolutely delicious fruity perfect for summer. Little bit of vanilla and musk, but mostly freshness, gets a tad soapy later on (but not much). Very good quality of ingredients comes through.

Beast of a fragrance and a stunningly beautiful bottle, but sadly there’s something on here (and it seems to be a note that is in all other TT fragrances I tried so far) that I just don’t get on with. For those in the UK, I have a bottle missing just one tester spray that I’d be willing to sell for £85 plus postage. Happy to provide pictures, proof of purchase etc. Message if interested.

The first sniff was - ok... strange enough... feel fir quite strongly... Unfortunatelly did not have the second sniff, as after 1,5-2 h it has TOTALY disappeared from my skin leaving no trace!!! Really strange, as much cheaper perfums have better longevity. Big dissapointment... Maybe it's my skin's chemistry, but still - not a blind buy, if yours chemistry is same, as mine 🙂

Small correction in the notes: it has FIG not fir 😉 It immediately went in my top 5. The only tropical scent I can stand, as it is green and juicy yet sophisticated and a bit powdery. I love it so much and finally after 5 years after my first smell I could grab a bottle! In love 💕

Definitely leans feminine but can be pulled off by a man in the proper attire and in the right situation (light colors by the pool for example). Coconut fruity floral. Beachy summer scent a little lotiony. Overall very pleasant smelling.
