Radiant Gem

This is such a pretty soapy floral. I am pretty sure that I had a hand soap from BB&W that smelled like this. I thought I smelled lilac, but I am going to assume it’s the Daphne. I wasn’t sad because I love lilac scents. This is perfect for spring. It made me think of the beginning of spring, when it’s still a bit cold, but you walk under trees, and some are beginning to bloom. It reminded me of spring in the city.

gorgeous fresh scent :3 bigggg fan of how it sits on my skin- subtle, but not overly so. it for the most part fades after a couple of hours but you can still catch a whiff of it lingering if you sniff hard enough . one of my favorites <3

I love Margot Elena products. They are beautifully packaged, beautiful smelling, and beautifully uplifting--and relatively inexpensive, under $50. I was surprised that no one has reviewed this perfume yet; it is somewhat recent, but not exactly brand new. Anyway, it is a lovely scent. The lemon balm is calmer, gentler than straight out citrus, so it is refreshing at first spray but doesn't take you away to lemon groves. Then the other ingredients come into play. After about 5 minutes, a slight, pleasant floral appears--again, to the same degree as the lemon balm, in no way overpowering. Then the ambery musk comes in a bit later. I usually go for scent bombs, the kind that have people sneezing when I approach them (and they start to back up, so that we never really meet). Although it leans feminine to me, it is definitely unisex because it is truly a natural scent. I'm sure many will find it boring/inoffensive, but after my Shalimar and old school Cinnebar, this is really calming me down. Several hours later: Like all ME products, unfortunately, this one has no longevity, only about 2-3 hours.

Definitely different. I'm not sure what I expected, but it reminds me of a cross between sweet melissa and pink clover and sweet hay. I've never smelled winter daphne, but I assume that's what I'm smelling. It's light and a earthy, but not in a "dirty" way. I'm enjoying it, it's light and unique. More of a gentle daytime or even a "to bed" scent- I would say more of a comfort scent than something sexy or powerful feeling. There's maybe a hint of light clean musk in there, and if there's amber it's certainly a "white" amber. I think most should teat before buying, as it's hard to compare for me.

Opens with a strong lemon BALM scent (not an actual juicy fresh-cut lemon, but a muted lemon). Definitely smell the daphne (aka laurels), which was interesting as it makes it seem like you could be smelling lemongrass, but you're definitely not at the same time. A bit trippy. The musk and the amber are really the base notes it dries down too. I think they also just help the lemon balm and daphne to kind of mellow out instead of being a cleaning-product level of intense.

I really like this. Green, citrusy, & the daphne smells realistic and is blended smoothly into white musk. The amber is noticeable but it’s playing a supporting role in the background. This is mostly a fresh, clean uplifting kind of vibe. Leans slightly soapy but to me it smells more like a luxurious spa. I also saw another comment comparing this to Johnson’s bed time lotion and it definitely checks out- but make it a little more grown and expensive.

Whatever a daphne is, it has quite a pretty scent. However, the floral aspect was quite fleeting and I did not at all care for the amber base.

I ended up not loving this one. It’s floral but heavily leaning into a soap scent. Now if you like vintage soapy florals that lean more bright than animalic this might be worth a try!

A strange one. Pretty sure I've never smelled anything like it and I'm not sure how I feel about it. Opens with that lemon balm, grassy bright note and then morphs into a faint amber scent for the duration. To be perfectly honest, it reminds me of beer. Some expensive microbrew IPA with lots of hops. I would never have chosen this myself but it came in a subscription box. The sprayer broke so I've been using it like a little splash bottle. Not my favorite from Tokyo Milk by a long shot, but someone looking for a lighter more summery amber scent may like it more. It's a field of clovers.

Opening reminded me of Bright Crystal somehow. As it dries down it definitely has balmy aspect. I actually like this even though it kind of reminds me of some sort of cheap lotion scent, the kind that say theyre unscented but still have a smell lol yet this somehow smells good and unique to me and also interestingly calming.
