Eau de Jasmin Rouge

Jasmine is a typical flower in my hometown. We even have a ballad dedicates to this fragrant treasure. So when I wear Eau de Jasmin Rouge, which scent profile and performance are consistent with the flower's aroma that wafts in spring air intermittently, I am very impressed. Once in a while during the wearing time, the soft, elegant, and realistic jasmine note lingers around my collar. It can last around 4-5 hours with subtle projection. Compared with the original Jasmin Rouge, the eau de toilette is less spicy and sensual but inherits the DNA. I think this new scent complements a clean, polished outfit perfectly.

Love at first sight for this one. Right off after I sprayed it on my wrist, I had a deep, sweet jasmine lightened with subtle hints of citrus. Cardamom (my favourite spice) gives a refined twist to the blend. This eau de toilette will make you feel sexy and confident. This will be my date night perfume for this summer !

A slightly sweet, spicy jasmine tea. I absolutely prefer it over the EDP, since it is inoffensive, not headache inducing. It is unique, and pretty, lively, signature worthy longevity is poor, 2-3 hours on my skin, but I don't mind topping it up, this scent is everything I want in a signature scent

I really enjoy this one. If the original, Lys Fume and Velvet Gardenia had a child, this would be it. Citrus and sweet, watery Jasmin, for the price, this is a no brainer.

It's quite apparent that Eau de Jasmin Rouge is related/shares some DNA with the original TF Jasmin Rouge; however, they are not the same. This one is simpler... there is much less going on in the background than there is in Jasmin Rouge. EdJR is very citrus-forward; I can detect the bergamot right away, and the result is that I find myself smelling jasmine flowers and citrus at the same time, which is interesting. It also has a semi-aquatic feel throughout the duration of its lifespan, but the aquatics don't take over (the jasmine remains the dominant note here), and no, it's not a full-blown "1990s-style aquatic." Those two elements give it a fresher, lighter aspect than the original. Aside from that, I get a *huge* dose of jasmine. The blend of spices and other supporting notes that make JR what it is (even though they don't announce themselves individually as elements of the composition) are not a part of EdJR, for the most part. This is not to say that EdJR is bad or somehow lacking; not at all. However, you may end up preferring one over the other, depending on what you're looking for in a fragrance. While I *like* Eau de Jasmin Rouge, I would *personally* still stick with the original Jasmin Rouge if I were forced to keep only one. (I know, I know... the price of Jasmin Rouge in 2022 is outrageous, and it keeps climbing higher... but, I guess I love what I love, and will use my current bottle of JR sparingly as a result.) While testing, I *did* experience a situation where one person (who absolutely *loved* Jasmin Rouge) reacted negatively to Eau de Jasmin Rouge and felt it could be "headache-inducing." (Their words, not mine... I didn't experience that with either fragrance, though it may be something to keep in mind, and I felt that it was only fair to share that experience, in case anyone else encounters a similar situation.) Performance is impressive, though -- especially since this is an EDT. It lasts all day on me.
