Eau de Soleil Blanc

I think I have the EDT, not the EDP, but I'm not seeing the EDT of Eau de Soleil Blanc listed. At any rate, right away I picked up the "baby wipes" accord, probably from the tuberose-camphor-orange blossom notes, which resembles a less intense version of the Carnal Flower opening. I'm getting quite a bit of white florals and not so much coconut. I like Eau de Soleil Blanc a lot, but I'm glad I bought a travel sprayer instead of blind buying a whole bottle, because I don't think this is distinctive enough (relative to other perfumes in my collection--your mileage will vary) to warrant the high price. I really enjoy wearing this, though; my EDT from earlier today had mostly worn off, and this seems like a great choice for a sultry (euphemism for hot and humid af) summer evening. The jasmine and tuberose are by no means indolic, but they're not soapy-fresh either. I'm also picking up more of the pistachio note on the drydown, and it's delightful. I might upgrade this to a love, even though I don't love it enough to purchase a full bottle at the full price. Update: As it dries down, I mostly get the greenish tuberose with jasmine and orange blossom, but my husband mostly smells the vanilla. He gave it the dread "bakery" dismissal. Oh well. I enjoy how intimate this is, sort of airy and evanescent, but with little wafts here and there when I move. It really does remind me of a creamier Do Son or a less flamboyant, softer and more conventionally feminine Carnal Flower. I don't really get much of the much-touted sunscreen vibe, and the coconut is nowhere near as intense as it is in, say, Coco Montaigne or Cocolicious. This really is quite lovely to my nose.

This is a subtle fragrance, but there is more to it than the three notes currently listed in the perfume pyramid. I have both versions of Soleil Blanc and this one is simply a more airy interpretation of the original eau de parfum. The concept remains the same. I can smell the roasted pistachio and piquant cardamom in the opening, the plush tuberose and ylang-ylang in the middle and the fusion of amber, benzoin and coconut milk in the base. If I were going to compare it to something else, I would say it smells the way my English Laundry Tahitian Waters smelled when it was brand new and fresh about five years ago, but without the brown sugar note and just a tad more luxurious. I love it. The Soleil Blanc series is a superb concoction made especially for sun worshipping, beach walking, coastal dwellers like me. I see my life in it. I chose the eau de toilette to accompany me through resort season because its buoyant floral-amber-coconut delivery is a perfect compliment to light weight clothing and warm weather travel. It just works. I have even worn this in direct sunlight and it did not break down or change. That’s always a good sign. If you are looking for a fragrance labyrinth full of secret surprises, this is not the one for you. But Eau de Soleil Blanc is very good at what it does for individuals like me. It’s certainly narcotic. You could also say it’s charismatic without being overly youth-oriented or clubby. Both incarnations of Soleil Blanc indeed evoke warm sand, white sun and bronze skin. All of these things are treasures enough for me. If life is a beach, then this little frosted bottle is an ode to the people of the sun.

The Start of a Private Beach Party... It's easiest to review this by comparison to the original Soleil Blanc. I just have a tester of this and the original, but I've tested them both a few times now. Although it's a lighter, fresher Soleil Blanc, it isn't just a weaker version. Where Soleil Blanc evokes a private Tom Ford beach party full of glamorous people wearing couture swimwear and growing musky under a white-hot sun, Eau de Soleil Blanc is the start of that same party where everyone's at their freshest. All the notes are present, but like Soleil Blanc this is really well blended. There's a prominent neroli that burns off into a cooling tropical vibe in the opening, with a powdery, fluffy & beachy white-floral heart, and a coconut-y & animalic base. Along with being fresher and more neroli forward than the original, this one is less creamy in the heart and less animalic in the base, although I still get a trace of civet (which used to be listed in the original) but it's really well blended. The original Soleil Blanc is more daring, and this has a lovely freshness - I like them both equally - but those sensitive to civettone will probably prefer this one. Performance is moderate, but perfect for spring & summer. It's a love for me. Enjoy! Update 08/06/24: Sprayed this on my arm this afternoon to compare with the original. The cardamom is a chameleon here in its greener form, adding freshness to the opening. I'm a long time fan of cardamom, but I more easily recognize it in its warm-spicy form. But if you open a bag of whole green cardamom seeds, this is the smell of the green shells more than the inner seeds.

I call this my Best accident EVER .. so actually I didn’t want to buy this one I wanted the white one , which it had the same name, And it looked really similar but it’s just white , this one is more like a see-through glass type of thing .. so0 yeah I accidentally got this one , because I was in a rush I gave them the name I didn’t look Twice paid for it And just took it . and then when I was in the car I smelled it and I was like waAaaaaait that doesn’t smell like the one I smelled it in the shop . and why did they give me the large one I told them I want like the 50 one.. .. I had so many damn questions 😂.. so yeah I would say first impression I was like really pissed so I couldn’t like it and for me it smelled like KFC napkin ... BUT THAN the next day I opened it to smell it again and it gave me ( this expensive vanilla coconut lotion that makes you feel you’re in Bali or something , like in a really rich ass island living your best life having people massage you carry you everywhere type of feeling ) which i LOVE IT ... for me I can smell the coconut and vanilla notes so much on my skin like the citrusy smell just goes away on my skin, so I love it because it gives me the notes that I really want and love .. so yeah best summer fragrance in my opinion of course after Olympia because I don’t think any summer perfume can take Olympia’s place I’m just being faithful .... but it’s my second favorite summer fragrance fo sho totally recommend it .. but don’t blind buy it and don’t judge it by the first opening ... I rate it 9/10 .. love love love it

. Eau de Soleil Blanc Tom Ford This perfume has two dominant and obvious parts. Both of which are smelled at the same time. The first part: citrus, which is fragrant with the smell of white flowers, especially neroli. But the second part is coconut. The successful combination of coconut and citrus in other perfumes such as Virgin Island Water Creed And its successful copy Malibu - Party in the Bay Simone Andreoli I have tested it before and I must say that this combination is really a wonderful combination to balance a citrus fragrance. The mild, greasy and creamy warmth of coconut and the delicious and gourmand feeling of coconut make citrus fragrances sexy. A super fresh and cool fragrance for lovers of coconut and citrus combination. with little sweetness Suitable for hot seasons. Good fragrance quality. unisex Unfortunately, expensive. longevity and sillage is moderate. In the end, I would like to write a line about the pistachio in the perfume, considering that most of the fresh pistachio skin is composed of D-limonene and the pistachio has appeared in this perfume as a citrus finish. It smells like an elevated sunscreen, in the best way. It is of course much more elegant and nuanced than a sunscreen. I feel like I'm on the beach, having put on the sunscreen in advance. I'm sitting at the bar, sipping on a fresh tropical cocktail with oranges. I want to eat the orange slice decorating my cocktail and accidentally bite into the peel. On the side I'm snacking on some thinly sliced coconut with spices. I quite like it, but it has a sharpness to it that I'm not a fan of. Cardamom or too much citrus peel maybe? Edit: In super humid and hot weather, the sharpness turns into sth nice and crisp. It's a great summer perfume, but I have had to reapply every two hours in these weather conditions. It's one of the few perfumes that doesn't feel overwhelming for me on those hot sweaty days. The more I wear it, the more I love it. I'll probably get a small bottle 2nd hand. Edit 2: The quality of the bottle is subpar and the scent lasts for 2h. Not worth it at all. I mean the bottle looks and feels so cheap. Doesn't really fit your hand. Feels like max 50€ for 100ml would be ok. A shitty atomizer, glue stains on the bottom of the inside part of the lid. A big no-no for the price.

Eau de Soleil Blanc... this is my “luxury atoll” in a bottle, done right! Not touristy. For the geniuses who say it’s “basically the same as Soleil Blanc (the parfum), just less lasting”: don’t say BS, please. Eau de Soleil Blanc is brighter, airier and fresher, while Soleil Blanc is denser, spicier and warmer. Eau de Soleil Blanc opens with clean citrus and neroli, then that creamy sunshine rolls in: a light coconut, white flowers (tuberose/jasmine vibe), pale amber. It’s not a “girly floral.” It’s androgynous and polished: clean skin, a linen shirt, sun-warmed body, an expensive hotel that doesn’t need to shout. The difference from other stuff is simple: no aggressive plastic scraping your nose. It’s bright without being shrill, sensual without being greasy, ELEGANT WITHOUT THAT OLD-GRANDPA AFTERSHAVE VIBE. It gives that “I’m put together” effect without clowning for attention. Real downside: high price, and the performance isn’t always war-level. But the point isn’t a truck-driver sillage. It’s the aura. IF YOU WANT CONTEXTUAL REAL STATUS, THIS IS A CLEAN BLADE—not a megaphone.

I have TF Black Orchid but have found other TF scents were one-note and synthetic smelling on me. I think I've tried just about every sample I can get my hands on (still waiting on Tobacco Vanille with high hopes), and I'm on my second sample of Soleil Blanc. I love it. A smooth, floral, nutty, coconut. It's perfectly blended orange, tuberose, vanilla, pistachio, coconut, so many notes I can smell individually and yet the whole is something delicious and smooth, not too sweet and not at all delicate. I feel this has real substance, and complex. This scent evolves in ways few others do, changing from bright citrus, to nutty coconut floral, to a boozy, lightly spiced and creamy dark vanilla base. I keep getting whiffs of it and think what is that wonderful smell? It's winter right now, cold and damp and misty dark miserable, and Soleil Blanc shines. I keep thinking, with the coconut note, that it has to be a spring and summer scent, but for me it is also soft and cozy like decadent holiday desserts and fancy blended cocktails.

این عطر دو بخش غالب و مشهود داره . که هردو همزمان باهم استشمام میشوند. بخش اول : سیتروسی ( مرکباتی ) که با بوی گلهای سفید آغشته ست . علی الخصوص بهارنارنج . اما بخش دوم نارگیل هست . ترکیب موفق نارگیل و سیتروس را در عطرهای دیگری همچون Virgin Island Water Creed و کپی موفقش Malibu - Party in the Bay Simone Andreoli را قبلا تست داشتم و باید بگویم این ترکیب واقعا ترکیب فوق العاده ای برای به تعادل رساندن یک عطر سیتروسی ست . گرمای ملایم و چرب و کرمی نارگیل و حس خوشمزگی و گورمند نارگیل باعث میشه عطرهای سیتروسی هم بتونند سکسی باشند . یک عطر فوق العاده شاداب و خنک برای دوستداران ترکیب نارگیل و سیتروس. با شیرینی ناچیز . مناسب فصول گرم. کیفیت رایحه خوب. یونیسکس. متاسفانه گران . ماندگاری و پخش متوسط . در انتها دوست دارم در مورد پسته موجود در عطر یک خط بنویسم و آن اینکه باتوجه به آنکه بخش اعظم پوست پسته تازه کامپوند دی لیمونن هست پسته در این عطر در تکمیل سیتروسی بودن ظاهر شده ست. و شاید تاحدی وجه روغنی آن نیز در حس چرب نارگیل ادغام شده باشد. عطر بسیار خوبیست اگر اینقدر گران نبود . 📲insta 📲 fragrance__reviewer

As a great admirer of tropical scents, Eau de Soleil Blanc has exceeded my expectations in every way possible. It beautifully captures the feeling of a white-sand beach and, in turn, the essence of summer. The effortless fusion of pistachio and coconut is, in my humble opinion, what makes this fragrance a winner. Not least because these two notes are amongst my favourite when used in fragrances and in real life as well. The other notes, including the various citruses and flowers, only substantiate ESB's tropical qualities. As for ESB's comparisons with sunscreen, there is most definitely a resemblance. However, it is a more positive than negative likeness. A very luxurious and high-end sunscreen, in other words. Being a unisex fragrance, it can serve as a man's or woman's signature summer scent. Ideal for wearing at beachy settings during the day. All in all, Eau de Soleil Blanc is an excellent addition to Tom Ford's lineup, and a perfect aromatic companion for your next summer vacation.

There are so many incredible choices in the "sunscreen" genre, but Eau de Soleil Blanc is my favorite. In terms of coconut forward fragrance, this and Soleil Blanc are the most enjoyable and sophisticated. I do, prefer EDSB to SB because, in the thick heat, I prefer its overall freshness. EDSB is a summer day with a refreshing breeze—a mood lifter when trapped in oppressively hot and humid conditions. I ADORE it. In terms of lasting power and sillage, SB performs only slightly better, but if I layer EDSB with Bronze Goddess Azur or BG Body Creme, I get a full eight hours without compromising the note structure too much. I swore that I'd never purchase anything from the TF Private Blend line, but I am happy to have snagged this little work of art at a bargain before the ridiculous price hikes. TF should really make EDSB the next member of the signature line. It would sell like Balinese coconut hotcakes.

It's a big yes from me, haha! Yes yes yes! I love this. Suntan lotion scent but made with quality ingredients. Omg, this will be the first frag that I Will actually use up this summer. (50ml) So beautiful and soft and not a screetchy note in sight. Tmn. My bestie bought beach Walk which to me smells like the nail polish version of this. Can't stand it. I get why it's so popular because if you don't get that note, it's gorgeous and very similar in vibe to this, but this has citrus and more herbs. It's a molecule/nose thing. Get the same nail polish note with narciso Rodriguez frags. And I'm not alone. I found my fav summer scent. Yes, it's not a beast, projection, where? Longevity on skin, err...3 hours max? Team oversprayer here! On clothes it's ok. Lol. Don't Care. This is for me. Deep sniffing my skin. I look like an addict. 🙈 Please check out my shelve for reference in taste.

This is one of the very few Tom Ford fragrances I really like. It's perfectly unisex, and just smells so much like a playful vacation. Very solar, warm, inviting, rich and perfectly balanced. It's not quite a dumb reach for any occasion, but it really does draw compliments during the summer months in a beachy setting. It's just pure playful class in a bottle. And the fact you can buy this at designer prices ($130 for a full 3.4 bottle)...I picked up a backup bottle just in case. It's a no brainer for those who love classy summer scents. It does have a slight similarity to Juliette Has a Gun "Vanilla vibes", which I also enjoy. Except this Tom Ford has a touch more class and slight sophistication to it. It smells like the more luxury version of it.

Eau de Soleil Blanc by Tom Ford is hands down more delicious than the original Soleil Blanc, at least to my nose. Yes, it’s your classic coconut sunscreen scent—but honestly, it’s the best one I’ve ever smelt. There’s something about it that feels a bit more refined and vibrant. For me, it strikes that perfect unisex balance: breezy, radiant, and never too sweet. I find it much more interesting and layered than the overrated Beach Walk by Maison Martin Margiela (sorry not sorry!). While Beach Walk smells nice, Eau de Soleil Blanc has that extra sparkle that keeps me coming back to it. I’m honestly so happy to have it in my collection—it’s one of the first I reach for whenever I’m packing for a holiday. Summer in a bottle, but make it chic.

One of my favorite summer fragrances. Smells like an expensive beach vacation to a resort on a desert island. I get mostly creamy coconut (not the nauseating sweet/synthetic kind) and soft white florals. Yes it has a suntan lotion vibe but I’m ok with that. It’s very soft and inoffensive and never cloying. It is quite expensive for what it is considering it sits quite close to the skin and isn’t the most long-lasting fragrance ever. I also only wear it in the summer. I could never quite bring myself to buy a full bottle but my husband bought it for me and now I’m waiting for warmer weather so I can wear it. I like the Soleil Blanc edp as well but for some reason I find it more floral that the edt thus it doesn’t appeal to me as much.

I adore this scent. On my skin the Pistachio/Vanilla/Tonka bean sing. It's a soft halo in the air of coconut, Ylang-Ylang, and beautifully blended white flowers touched with Cardamom. This is a scent you wear for yourself, it's not a beast and it will not color the world around you in a tropical haze...but what it will do is keep you enveloped in your own personal oasis. I put the perfume on at 7:30am and now that it is 13:30 (12:30 pm afternoon) the creamy Tuberose is melting into another lotion like note of Benzoin...now I smell the suntan oil scent that people are talking about, but please don't let that deter you from trying this beauty. If all sunscreen smelled as expensive then no one would forget to apply daily.

This is in my top 5 summer fragrances for sure. I sold my bottle and bought it back 6 months later because I couldn't stop thinking about it. The citrus is so tart but airy at the same time. Its got this solar feel to it and it stays airy even though it has a creamy white floral-coconut combo under the citrus. The white florals aren't piercing or indolic at all, theyre extremely mass appealing. It isn't groundbreakingly unique but it is just so so good to me and brings me memories of vacation. Performance isn't very good but it doesn't need to be. I get about 4 1⁄2 hours and about an 1 1⁄2 hours of projection. Split unisex for me, but I am a man who's a sucker for white florals so take that as you will 9.5/10

This smells like a lovely mediterranian vacation. Maybe it's a bit reminiscent of a really nice smelling sunscreen (but not in a cheap way). Quite rich and complex, yet light and inoffensive. I'm getting mostly white florals with a warm creamy coconut, and a bit of juicy citrus in the opening. I think I get a bit of that vanilla and tonka bean in the background too, as well as light spices. Now, I do think this is primarily a summer fragrance, but it's warm enough so that you could definitely pull it off in the spring and even fall as well. Also I think this is perfectly unisex and suitable for any age. Absolutely lovely, smooth, creamy, sweet, comforting. 8.5/10

A beach vacation in a bottle. I love it. Very MIAMI rich girl. Smells like lots of cash and tanning lotion. Peach Bellinis, tan lines, toasted pistachios, creamy coconut and a bottle of chilled BOLLINGER. My favorite from TOM FORD. I love it on my body, so dreamy, like being on a fluffy cloud, very ethereal. I don't think this needs any layering, it's perfect just the way it is. So Florida Kilos by Lana Del Rey. Very Mirtha Jung from BLOW. "Come on down to Florida, I got somethin' for ya. We could see the kilos or the Keys, baby, oh yeah. Guns in the summertime, chic-a-Cherry Cola lime. Prison isn't nothing to me, if you'll be by my side." That's the vibe. BISOUS

I'll be honest, I didn't think I'd love this scent as much as I do. This is such an uplifting, bright and easy-going citrus scent mixed with white florals that just makes me smile whenever I smell this. It really puts the "gentle" in "gentleman", but it is very much unisex, not every scent on a guy need so be a hulking brute. Longevity is nothing to write home about, projection is more or less the same. But still... Something about this scent DNA just feels like it's calling to me. Also, in my opinion - the 100ML bottle is really beautiful, not that it really matters. I just love this fragrance. It also doesn't hurt that I got it for a STEAL of a price.
