Ombre Leather 16

Many people have drawn comparisons between Ombré Leather 16 and Tuscan Leather. These comparisons are pretty accurate. The leather in Ombré Leather 16 is quite similar to that in Tuscan Leather, but it is drier and a bit more subdued. Tuscan Leather is one of my favorite scents and unfortunately, it is one of my wife's least favorite scents of mine. (She also dislikes La Yuqawamm and Oud Saphir.) She likes Ombré Leather 16 though. There is a cigar-like note in Tuscan Leather that she despises, which thankfully is not found in Tuscan Leather. To me, Ombré Leather smells like black leather with a touch of suede and some light florals. Reminds me of a new black leather wallet. Tuscan Leather uses more of a brown leather or suede note. I would tell most people they do not need Ombré Leather 16 if they already have Tuscan Leather; however, if there are situations where Tuscan Leather is too much, or you have a loved one that doesn't like Tuscan Leather, there is definitely room in your collection for both. Tuscan Leather is best for cold weather, while I could see Ombré Leather 16 being wearable in any weather except the high summer heat. I purchased a decant of Ombré Leather 16 and presuming my feelings about it do not change, I will purchase a full bottle. EDIT: Halfway through the decant and my feelings have changed. I like it even more than before! The performance on this is somewhat inconsistent. Some days I feel like the scent is stronger and longer lasting, other days less so. Not sure if people around me have the same experience or if this is just olfactory fatigue. I will keep using this and when my decant runs out, I will either buy another decant or a full bottle. Loving this stuff, still getting just as much wear out of Tuscan Leather. One does not replace the other for me. EDIT 2: I found a deal on this, so I picked up a full bottle. Still loving it. I still get erratic performance from this though. Sometimes I can't smell it after a few hours with 4-6 sprays. After a spray to each wrist, I can smell it 8+ hours later.

I have plenty of time for Ombre Leather EdP and the parfum. OL is one of my favorite Tom Ford fragrances. Ombre Leather 16, which is the original - albeit very limited - release of Ombre Leather should have stayed as the primary release of Ombre Leather. It is superior to the later EdP and parfum versions, even with them being as good as they are. 16 opens with a bang of cardamom, violet and jasmine florals; no fruity notes like you get in Tuscan Leather, or simply cardamom as with the later versions of Ombre Leather. The cool spice and floral top is chic and classy. The florals dry down to bring out accords of more violet leaf, and dry and animalic leather. The leather accord used in this was repeated almost exactly in Ombre Leather, but with a critical difference. Whereas Ombre Leather EdP/parfum are a bit wet and thick, and certainly dirty and animalic, 16 presents the animalic leather as very dry and warm - closer to the leather of Tuscan Leather in this way, but with the animalic nature that sets OL apart from TL. Additionally, the violet leaf, patchouli, cardamom, and tree moss play together to give an overall impression, to me, of a smooth fresh tobacco accord that is somehow chemically and quite dry. This isn't fresh green tobacco or cured/aged tobacco; it's naughty cigarette tobacco. The final dry down continues the leather accord, and the tobacco accord more aligns to straight tree moss and a very smooth, light brown patchouli. Ombre Leather 16 is suave, yet daring, rakish yet gentlemanly. OL 16 is James Bond in a tux skulking through a swanky building with his Walther drawn, where OL EdP/Parfum is a hot rock star in a sweaty leather jacket. Such a pity TF don't still make this one.

Sampled this yesterday and I liked it quite a bit. It definitely resembles Tuscan Leather, but if you had replaced the deep ultra rich leather note with the smokey suede note from White Suede. I love this because I've always loved the suede note in White Suede but felt it dissipates way too fast before giving way to musk and flowers, but here it stays without caving in. It's lighter and more versatile than Tuscan Leather, but still long-lasting and powerful. I can feel the oakmoss and patchouli and they compliment the leather nicely while being seamlessly blended into the leather. Although jasmine is listed, I get a soft, fresh white lily floral note that adds some brightness to the smokey leather. In summary, the overall feel of this is a dominant smokey leather-suede with well-blended hints of herbal green nuances and soft florals. I think I may just like it more than Tuscan Leather.

I find this more complicated on the first application than Tuscan Leather and a tiny bit more linear in its progression. Tuscan leather is one of my favourites and after wearing this for the last 4 days I find it more enjoyable. I wouldn't say it replaces Tuscan leather. It is more like the tame flowery cousin of it using similar leather note. It would make perfect sense for example if Tom Ford made a "leather" line and had this one, Tuscan leather and another couple of them the same way he released the "Oud" and "Vert" line. As a side note I also love the black chromed and leather magnetic refillable, limited edition bottle that the 50ml of this will come in. I am not sure for its price though that approaches the one of the 250 ml bottle. By the way the same bottle in gold edition will be available empty as a refillable spray bottle for half price.

I have worn this perfume for a few weeks now and here are my thoughts. There is similarity with Tuscan Leather but in my opinion it is only on the initial whiff. If you wear this one day and Tuscan Leather the other day, you will notice they are not too similar. Ombre Leather is lighter and fine for most days, while TL is heavier and more suited for cold weather. If I had to pick one only, it would be TL because it feels better suited for the dough you pay. Just like what some reviewers posted here, the Tom Ford sales people I always get from told me this perfume would be discontinued in the Private Blend line and be moved to the signature line. While it's nice to see the price go down, I fear the quality might go down too.

I hate when people start discontinuation rumors so I wouldn't be commenting unless it was valid but I was at a Nordstrom and I heard it directly from the SA at the Tom Ford counter. He said they're no longer going to be selling this. I see it's still available on the Sephora website... If you're a fan of this, might want to scoop it up. I'm a VERY big fan of this, I get the same leather note that's in Tuscan Leather but instead of raspberry I get a dominant violet with a subtle jasmine, the same type of violet note that you find in Fahrenheit and YSL l'homme libre. I get much better performance from this than my 2016 batch of Tuscan Leather.

As a side by side comparison with Tuscany, Ombre is lighter and drier, while Tuscany is stronger, saltier with that distinctive fruity musky/sweetness behind it, it packs a bigger punch. Ombre is quiet and powdery; the leather notes are in the same vein as Alais Paris and Bottega Venetta. While Ombre is slightly more feminine than Tuscany, the leather in the forefront makes this unisex, so any guy could easily pull this off. I find Ombre more wearable and way more versatile. This could be easily worn during the day without knocking anybody over. Wear Ombre at work, then switch to Tuscany for a night out and you're good to go.

This is one of my favorite Tom Ford perfumes. It starts out like putting on a clean, stiff, black leather jacket. It smells fresh, intense, and like black leather. The leather part never really goes away. Later, I notice green notes--maybe the violet leaf, oak moss, and cardamom. It lasts a long time and projects well too. This is a one spray all day kind of fragrance. It is definitely masculine, in my opinion. I hear that it's being discontinued. It's also no longer featured on the TF website. This would be most disappointing if it is true. In any case I have 2 50 ml bottles left. I guess I'll savor them.

While impossible not to compare it to Tuscan Leather, I think they each stand on their own. To my nose, Tuscan Leather is actually the more floral - Tuscan Leather may have the harsher leather and gasoline notes close to the skin, but the floral notes are what trails after you. So, to my nose, Ombre Leather 16 is actually the cleaner, classier, more balanced and consistent fragrance. Personally, I hope Ombre Leather 16 sticks around because it's my go-to leather fragrance right now. If it's not already, I see this being a future Tom Ford classic.

OMG I LOVE this fragrance I have Tuscan Leather and Rasasi La yuqawam. Rasasi La Yuqawam is closer to ombré Leather in my opinion. While TL is straight Leather to me OL you get hit with that Tuscan leather note first then comes the jasmine right behind it and after the dry down the floral notes and the Tuscan leather are even that being said the leather is a little lighter in this fragrance but still great. I layer Tuscan leather with Aventus now there is no need to Ombré leather is great alternative.

Slightly different from the latest version. Its more refined and the violet leaf is more pronounced, mossy and silkier. The dry down is not as cut dry and powdery or sweet as the latest version, instead this one is creamier, smoother, better composed. Some might find the scent identical, I however don't, as OL18 always seems to turn into a powdery sweet mess. I love the noticeable differences, making this the overall better option.

i much prefer this hidden gem to the overexposed "Tuscan Leather" sister scent. Its a much smoother and sweeter leather. Ombre 16 is the gentlemens club version of Tuscan leather - warm and sophisticated, with less spice and a slight hint of fruit. freshly rubbed leather with a whiff of the wing commanders sherry. i get lots of positive comments at work when i wear it. this and TFs tobacco vanille are unbeatable.

I love how this smells on clothes, but on my skin it becomes almost nothing but dirty jasmine on the drydown (2-3 hours). My skin usually brings out floral and musk notes, but this is one of the worst "turns" I've experienced - OL16 morphed into an almost unrecognizable, sharp, cheap, boozy jasmine. Not for me, even though I really love the scent. Will have my husband try it instead.

Smelled this in a Middle Eastern mall in 2021. Fell in Love with Tom Ford immediately after getting my nose on this and Noir de Noir. Unfortunately the only thing I have is the Parfum of this from the Signature Collection, which if my memory serves me right is fairly closer to 16 than the EDT. It was a great scent but sadly disoncontinued Scent: 9/10 Performance: 8/10 Price: 4/10

Amazing scent! Fell in love with this one at first sniff. I have a 5ml sample that I reserve for special occasions only. Absolute beast mode performance; too bad it got discontinued before I could get a bottle. I bought Ombré Leather 2018, but that one gave me a headache; it was too animalic for me. OL 16 got the balance just right! 9.5/10

One of my favorite Tom Ford fragrances, I love the fact that it's so versatile. This can be worn in all occasions, and you will receive many compliments. As for me this last all day, even when I get home from work, after working 9 hrs. my wife compliments this scent. 10 out of 10 for me.

This reminds me of a softer version of tuscan leather. I really can't differentiate the similarities other than it being less harsh. I love Tuscan Leather, so this is still a thumbs up for me.

If I had know it would be discontinued I would Have bought a flacon. It’s the best. 10000000% it’s what got me in the game fragrances. So purely done. I cherish my 50ml from 2016.

QUICK UPDATE: The 2018 version is better. It has superior contrast and sings while this version is more resinous and linear. Pass on this and get the 2018. Immediately applies luxurious with pure, high quality ingredients. "Rich" undersells it. Not heavy, yet full of nuance. Rare for scents to evoke such physical pleasure! Warmly attractive without being sweet or generically spiced. Gently smoked, dark oiled leather, dense wood, faint vetiver, and balsamic resin. All harmonize to be intoxicatingly sexy and very easy to like. Nothing challenging here. Deserving of being called a masterpiece. Dries a touch as it settles, which is a slight diminishment. Spice grows more pronounced. Later on, spraying on clothes becomes a little too sweet. These minor imperfections aren't enough to discount it. Solid strength and projection. 1ST REVIEW: Applies very smoky. Exquisitely rich vetiver - some of the best ever. Bold, manly, cowboy - but, the opposite of brusque. Even though it’s big, it’s impressively nuanced/refined. Feels like you’re getting your money’s worth buying high-end. Overall, it’s mostly the richest vetiver that leans leather with a perfect amount of patchouli. Top note of faint violet is almost invisible, but essential. Blowing my mind there’s none of my biggest triggers: dry soap/powder or saccharine sweetness - thank you! Vastly prefer over Tom Ford’s “Tuscan Leather” which has too much scummy oud. Good enough to be bottle-worthy.

While it's understandable to see this fragrance as a derivative of Tuscan Leather, this is very much its own fragrance! Ombre Leather's main note is more of a suede than a black leather. Suede = velvety soft, musky, woody and leathery nuances. O.L.'s suede is bright, airy, and soft compared to Tuscan Leather's deep, rich, and rounded leather. Ombre Leather's already smooth suede becomes slick with the pairing of the watery violet leaf which makes it an amazing opening. Instead of using the fruity sweetness of raspberry to counter the brashness of the leather used in T.L., O.L. uses an organic sugar accord with its smooth suede. As it dries down to the middle, the sweetness tones down and the oakmoss becomes quite apparent as the violet leaf dissipates into the background. The oakmoss makes it more mature and gives off a scent comparative to an old book's pages. The base loses the oakmoss but still maintains the main note with the pairing of something green, possibly the mixture of the jasmine sambac and the violet leaf. Definitely a castrated leather fragrance, but that's great if Tuscan Leather is just too much for you. O.L. has great performance on my skin and everyone around me wanted to know what I had on and where they could find it. It's definitely not abstract or offensive.

Tom Ford Ombre Leather 16 is one of the newest releases of late 2016 and the scent is pleasant, a relatively middle-of-the-road blend of leather, violet leaf, and patchouli mainly to my nose, the violet leaf being more prominent in the opening and the patchouli being more prominent in the dry down. It's consistently leather-dominant but not terribly spicy, animalic, or sweet--just mostly leather. While it certainly leans toward a high-class, refined leather, the scent itself isn't overly impressive. Comparisons to Tuscan Leather are inevitable, and when comparing the two previously (just out of the bottle, not on skin), I definitely gravitated toward the sweetness in Tuscan Leather over the pure leather smell of Ombre Leather 16. It's interesting that some consider Ombre Leather 16 to be smoother than Tuscan Leather, but as far as I'm concerned, OL16 is also a weaker performer, and less sweet than the raspberry accord of TL, so it's not simply a question of smoothness but also intensity and note breakdown. I like OL16 but I don't love it, certainly not enough to buy it, as I don't even own TL. I'm admittedly picky about leathers, but OL16 isn't trailblazing new territory. 7 out of 10

I don't know...I got a nice big sample of this from saks today and I'm sniffing this as I write. It definitely resembles Tuscan leather so much so that I think they just tweaked the formula a bit, ran off a bunch of new labels, and slapped them on the bottles... Or maybe not. While the "structure" IS similar, their are subtle differences. While Tuscan leather is brash and bold and all over the place, this seems more....restrained...refined...dusty? Perhaps. Greener and more bitter. A tweed hat instead of a raspberry beret. But certainly they share the same DNA of an almost sweaty, dense leather....ill really have to wear it fully to appreciate it, me thinks. Scent 8/10....pleasant, better than TL in my opinion. Projection8/10....seems to project nicely in a 4 or 5 foot radius and leaves a long scent trail Fortitude9/10...really lasts a long time 4 sprays on the neck and can still smell it around my head after 12 hours Full bottle worthy?...certainly...if you like flowered leather EDIT... One of the most complimented fragrances I've worn in a long time. Customers and coworkers love it and I must say...I feel a little badass wearing it. My new favorite toy

Sicuramente non una novita'. OL 16 si presenta bene con un melone ? & pelle nera appena lucidata,per niente toscana se non nella qualita'. La prima ora la passo tra foglie verdi,rugiada e cremoso gelsomino.in questa fase avverto zaffate non particolarmente piacevoli di fondotinta e qualcosa che mi ricorda minotaure paloma picasso che trovo stomachevole. Ok ombre'16 e' piu donna. Fortunatamente si spegne un po' per diventare fumoso con il patchouli. qui trovo il lato piu'dolce di TL insieme al cardamomo anche esso ben distinguibile. Per nulla rozzo,versatile e piacevole con sillage adeguato. credo sia piu adatto di giorno e in primavera. Drydown burroso. Per me che tuscan leather e' 10/10 - ombre'16 vale 7,5/10 Da comprare?..si'...ma' aspettando i saldi di fine stagione!

Introverted Tuscan Leather. Got a decant and thought it was watered down at first. Doesn't last, doesn't seem to project; perhaps I'm desensitised by the exciting olfactory cosh of TL- It's possible I reek of it even though I hardly smell anything after the short opening. Good for daytime, winter and spring I reckon. Good for evening too. OK for senior men, and over 30s (I hope)-- I have trouble knowing my age limit for scents- I'm a slightly disgraceful, well preserved near 60 yr old and a newbie to fragrances. -I would choose TL over this anytime- but that's a personal thing. I am glad to have it as a laid back TL

I tried this via a Nordstrom sample and, yes, I agree with everyone else: It's sort of a toned-down version of Tuscan Leather, which I own and like. As I have quickly scent-neutralizing skin, this stuff doesn't last as long as TL on me. So if it's the same price, why buy it? It's... okay. It's a good leather scent but not one of my favorites. For Tom Ford cost I expect more Wow Factor. ---------------- Smelled it again in a big department store in Paris. Yep, same conclusion. The underwhelming little brother of Tuscan Leather.

Smells great. Same DNA as Tuscan Leather, however it is lighter and a touch more fruity/seductive/creamy. Smells like what you would think Cat Woman's leather outfit would smell like! It's more feminine than masculine. The projection and longevity are not good for a perfume of this price. Upgrade to Tuscan Leather for better value. Scent: 9/10 Longevity: 4/10 Projection: 3/10 (it's awesome for the first 20 minutes, then it's literally gone)

A cleaner, almost soapier, version of the original Tuscan Leather, while retains the same spicy leather DNA. To me, smells more like Montale's clone of Tuscan Leather, Aoud Leather, than Tom Ford's Tuscan Leather. A like from me but not enough to pull the trigger on a bottle.

I've almost made my way through a bottle since 2017 and as it ages it's evident the leather accord is castoreum based. I don't see this note listed. I have a bottle of castoreum @ 10% and the note is unmistakable in TFOL16.

This could have been named Tuscan Leather Summer or Tuscan Leather Eau Fraiche. A bit lighter but still has excellent longevity. Violet really shines giving it that fresh appeal that many love.

Kinda gone off leather scents, but ombre leather is a much nicer, less harsh leather i can wear.

Just got it, waited so long to get it. For the first time i'm a bit disappointed in a Private Blend Scent to be honest. And i really hate this one. The opening is a freakin' harsh suede scent with a very annoying side, don't know what it is, but it almost made me gag. Like some kind of bad detergent. After one hour it becomes a very simple and ordinary leather (suede) scent, still harsh. Something of the worst i've ever came across. This one is not to be compared with my Favourite of the Private Blends, Tuscan Leather, at all. Not a bit. Different Leather, no sweetness. Just an awful bad fragrance. 5/10

a lazy performer, a very feminine toned down version of Tuscan leather, nice, but it comes only in 50 or 250 ml versions, so this is a no go plus....

Oh boy!!!! Did we really need another Tuscan Leather?

Onto something exciting. Ombre Leather 16 is delicious. It has a succulent sort of sweetness about it that I primarily compared to Nabeel Arab Tradition, an apparent Tuscan Leather clone, whose sweetness is attributed to notes of raspberry, in one, if not both of them. But the notes don't show raspberry, or whatever delectable sweetness it is. Apparently it's floral. No matter, the result is excellent. Upon reading comments that is slightly fresher than Tuscan Leather, I decided to go for this, given the equatorial weather I live with. The floral is just so excellently blended. I don't know what it is about these TF fragrances that are so round and mass-appealing. But this scent, I can get behind. I realise I'm not talking much about the notes, but the opening is just so excellent. I think I'd have to get back and focus on development but if its like the other TFs, it'll be linear, and the sweetness may or may not fade away. But the remarkable point about this fragrance is that the sweetness hasn't cheapened the fragrance as I have noticed with others. Whether it's Mugler stuff, Herod; you know the type. The gourmands, they are just so rarely done well. Maybe it's not my genre, but, the sweetness in this garners no complaints. It bears mentioning, in my mind, at least, with the associations I have; is this a contemporary Fahrenheit? Do TF take existing successful DNAs, retain their essence, and put a tiny spin on it? Guerlain Vetiver and Grey Vetiver, for instance. Anyway. It succeeded. Tom Ford, as much as I am on the fence about the individual, is the new house that I just hate to love, but have to, to an extent, with the quality of what I've been smelling, lately.

I recognize the combination of scents that is the common leather accord used in many of the leather scents that I've tried. Other scents seem to break apart on my skin, and maybe I'm just getting used to it, but this one didn't. I think the addition of peppery sweet violet to the salty musky "leather" really helped. The oakmoss and jasmine started as background players, and came forward more after an hour or so. They're well blended together and straddle the line between blending to indistinguishable from each other without ever crossing it. The combination of the two really mark the fragrance as unisex. It never gives way to any of the gendered fragrance tropes, although I'm sure many women would feel the leather is too masculine. I didn't much care for the drydown. It fades to a faint sweet and powdery amber. After 6 hours I can barely smell it, as can my fragrance sensitive partner.

As we have heard, "Some memories never fade". I have definitely this kind of relationship with my scents. For me, behind every stronger scent there is a deep memory or may be the scents create an association with the moments which are being preserved forever. I was never in love with this scent but the leather aroma, that new car or jacket smell is something which cannot be ignored and it creates a fondness, also, somehow being able to breathe in the air which had either the smell of paint, cigarette or leather, it kinds of uplifts the mood. And truly, either you will love them or you will hate them but you will never be able to ignore them as they are dark, intense and very strong. I would love to relive my moments again with this scent. Why is it being discontinued? Is there any option to get it?

Sampled Ombre Leather 16 today, 5 days prior to its Aussie release and I must say that I'm impressed. Does not even remotely resemble Tuscan Leather.It has more in common with Dior's Cuir Cannage but on a more subtle scale. The violet note however is not detectable for mine,I was anticipating more of a Bond no 9 Bleecker St waft but no. This is very dry,the leather has more of a suede effect as opposed to the robust tanned leather hide from Tuscan Leather. Its almost Serge Lutens Daim Blonde like in its intensity. Jasmine is present and blends easily with the leather note.Patchouli,which is one of Toms signature bass notes helps round it out magnificently.The oakmoss is also played with a discerning hand.Not overbearing at all. Worth checking out in my opinion.

An initially bi-dimensional fragrance which is something a little different, but then after 2 hours becomes a standard leather fragrance... I applied 4 heavy sprays 0 -2 hours. This is in two parts with a smooth comforting blanket around the leather. I like the dual aspect. The smoothness is 60% with the leather 40%. It came out all shiny on my skin. The performance is good with 3 foot projection 2 hours - 5 hours- 1.5 foot projection. This fragrance now looses the smoothness and it is now a linear bog standard straight up leather fragrance 5 hours - 7 hours. It disintegrates on my skin as the quality is lacking. Skin scent 7 hours - 8 hours- Harsh ash and leather, not nice Very Unisex Good for the office Not for me

Like all the Tom Ford Private Blend that I have sampled, this has the American Ultra Luxury connote that was started years ago by Lauren. Ombre is contemporary and suggests the American Meritocracy Global Set. The difference is that with the Ombre, Lauder has tastefully adjusted the volume. Still vainly arriviste and I guess that's the point. Like, this is the fragrance of my DB9 factory fresh. Before I've had the dog saliva, my sweat, perfumes staled, Pipe tobacco reminent and spilled coffee implanted. I'll stick to my ancient Bugatti 1992, contemporary Dusita and the like. They fit better with my vain Plebian taste.

Sometimes modern synthetics just hit the right note. Like Gucci Guilty Absolute pour Homme, I'd put Ombre Leather 16 in this category. It dials back on Tuscan Leather, stripping the fruity note out and giving us that petroleum note of good old (the really old) Farenheit. As modern (synthetic) leathers go it is one of the best; far more wearable than Miller Harris' Etui Noir for example which can take on an almost vinyl note. It's current diffusion line Ombre Leather cousin is just a bit muted, I think there's less of the petroleum/violet leaf - still beautiful, but lacking some umph.

Way too similar to Tuscan Leather. This is the key issue with Tom Ford fragrances: they are extremely overpriced and while they advertise catchy names and enticing fragrance blends, they do not deliver. The Vert line all smells like the Vert line. The Mandarino di amalfi, fleur di Portofino smell like a blend with a slight variation. They sometimes remind me of febreeze or Tide detergent. They have different scents but all basically smell like detergent of Febreeze. This is the last fragrance of theirs I will ever buy. Save your money, buy 3 of anything else.

Batch - A66 (2016) Ombre Leather 16, This thing is amazing. This is such a clean elegant leather unlike tuscan leather which is so sharp and in your face. Its toned down a little but still smells like absolute perfection. You can still smell the raspberry making it sweet like TL, but here the violet leaf and the oakmoss just shine so much. Smells like a CEO with a tailored suit on this is just so intoxicating i wish i had a flacon of this thing. Great longevity of 7-10 hours, this projects fairly well for about 2 hours. This is a STRONG 8.5/10

I used this at the counter when I recently bought another one of TF's. I LOVE Leather, but the "Tuscan" has a smoke to it I do NOT like, this is perfection! Straight Leather smell. I put one drop on my wrist, & was in the mall for hours smelling other things, etc. I could still smell that one little drop on my wrist that night. I did get the little vial sample to try it out for a few weeks, this juice isn't cheap ppl, but the most straight well put together leather scent I have found.

Luscious, juicy, fruity, and boozy to open; with a purity of tone that is cool, clean, and slightly sharp. The leather here is supple, sumptuous, refined, and subtly textured. With a dry and earthy base of an intensity that perfectly compliments the well balanced journey before it. Violet leaves, Cardamom, Jasmine Sambac (the green unopened buds of) Black Leather, White Moss (drier, less damp and earthy than Oakmoss), and Mr Ford's beloved Patchouli. A real pleasure to wear.

I tried this one today since Tuscan Leather has been a staple in my wardrobe for years. I have to say I LOVE it. I know they consider it a floral leather. But to me the leather is dressed up in a sweet and voluptuous way. It almost seems more fruity than floral imo. Maybe more fem? If Tuscan leather was a rugged Top, Ombre would be the more attractive, younger bottom. Anyways, its dream. Douche yourself with it.

But there is more than one note: Notes: Violet Leaf, Cardemom, Jasmin Sambac, Black Leather , White Moss, Patchouli.

Smelled this in Gallery Lafayette Dubai Mall, finished my shopping and returned to buy it before leaving the store. I keep smelling Leather & Saffron (even though it's not listed). The perfume overall is not the kind of perfume that I would cry when I finish the bottle and can't find it anywhere (since it's "LIMITED EDITION"). It's an OK unisex faint leathery scent that if you missed it, you didn't miss much.

I do not like Tuscan leather on my skin, but I Loooooove this. It is more wearable for a woman than Tuscan leather, and reminds me a bit of Oud Wood in its depth and sweetness. This is smoothe and balanced, tart, sweet, floral, fresh, dirty, warm all at once. It is strong and concentrated but doesn't project too far, which I think is better. I really enjoy how the floral notes balance out the rough leather.

I've always played baseball since I was a kid and I can tell you that the smell of this reminds me of a dugout or utility room its combination of the leather the wooden bats and the clay dirt all coming into one ..if you know anyone that's played baseball have them smell this scent and they will agree..it will bring them back.. happens to be my favorite scent I could smell it forever
