Soleil Neige (2025)

I just got my 100ml bottle today, I blind bought it. At first I thought I'm nose blind to this scent profile, but then I realized that it has a very weak sillage so I just oversprayed to get a descent one in order to understand it better. I haven't tested the original, so this is not a comparison. In my skin it has a scented water effect. very smooth, very light and elegant bergamot, so "round" and pleasant I bet it's from the bergamot/carrot combination. This is NOT a strong fragrance, it stays in your skin in a very discreet way creating a thin aura of lemon meringue pie. This is totally an every day signature scent, safe to wear in the office, or for an evening coffee date, and I'm sure it works better in a colder weather but I guess I will have to wait for the summer to try it as well, but I'm afraid that the heat and the sweat will devour it. If you're looking for a beast mode here, you will be disappointed, this is a VERY discreet...or you can call it a performance weak frag, whatever works for you. If you ask me, this is a unisex frag leaning a little bit feminine and although I'm a guy, I don't care about stuff like that, a scent is a scent and I'll wear whatever agrees with my nose, and regarding Soleil Neige, I just found my daily signature scent for the winter. Happy New Year to all! 1/3/26: edit. It is very important to let this one "marinate" a few days, it becomes stronger by the day! Lovely scent! 1/18/26: second edit, ppl with one spray the whole room smells, bergamot became way stronger, a bit soapier overall, I'm totally in love with it!

Can someone tell my why the ratings are so low? I want to know if this is the same EDP just in a new bottle? because everyone said the EDP was discontinued and seems like they just rebottled it and released it in 2025, if it's really reformulated that would be a shame but as long as it smells close enough to the original or parfum i'll be happy. Also they offer a 100ml in this bottle which is so good because previously it only came in 50ml bottles Edit - I finally tried it today and it smells close enough to the EDP and parfum, it's not the same fragrance though. It is different and reformulated, smells more gourmand than the others and more unisex, less floral and feminine. Which is good I feel this one is the most unisex out of the 3 and I happen to like gourmand. I get more citrus and vanilla in this one that the EDP and parfum. This almost smells like a lemon meringue pie or vanilla ice cream, the previous EDP had a more fluffy/cloud kinda vibe to it which I preferred but this is still good

I didn’t own the OG. I’ve only smelled it many times in store but never bought it. I loved the OG. And im nor a citrus fresh scents lover but it’s a different kind of citrus. It was clean white sparkly cold but warm at the same time. This version is sweeter. I still love it! The opening and mid are amazing! But in the dry down I get this bisquitts, cake vanillic note that’s powdery and mild and nice but it wasn’t there in the OG. It’s also not so sparkly as it used to be. There is something very lemon cake about it in the dry down. One plus is the longevity this one tends to last longer on my skinn as the OG edt. Never smelled the Parfum version. I like it! Since I have hard time with citruses or summer freshies I do think this will be one of my main summer scents. It’s citrus but not in the classic watery citrus way and that’s what makes It special. If someone knows scents like that citrus but creamy and soft and cloudy please tell me.

So soft...very light scent. It has a simple combination of citrus, white florals and a fluffy musk. There is a light sweetness that I imagine comes from the benzoin. This is nice but oh so light....it is hard to justify the price. I would buy a bottle if heavily discounted....because it is pretty. Also, that is the kind of scent I can wear to work... So soft and pretty...really pretty scent. Update: I got a full bottle as soon as I saw it on fragrancenet. It is so lovely...I have received so many compliments wearing this scent...I am now waiting for the parfum to come home...I also had to get the parfum bottle. This baby is that gorgeous. Yes it is soapy...but it is the most luxurious spa scent ever...

Fragrances like this are the reason why Tom Ford is one of the greatest fragrance houses. "Soleil Neige" means sun snow and the name is absolutely warranted. This is a fragrance that you can wear on a sunny day walking on the beach with a lover or at the top of a rocky, snow-covered mountain. Every time I smell this, I can feel the cool, crisp mountain air entering my lungs and the frigid wind hitting my hair as I look down on the clouds and snowcapped hills. It has a perfect dose of sunscreen sweetness that reminds me of the sun glistening on freshly powdered snow while also having floral accords that invoke images of a sunny garden or arboretum. Beautiful scent.

I was obsessed with TF's Private Blends. There was a time that I had every bottle, every rare gem & every unicorn of this line. My all time favorite though was Neige. I smelled Neige at the current packaging (the one as shown in the picture of this page); all I can say is that it resembles pre-Estee batches (full acquisition of TF's perfume department/after 2023), and it's definitely an improvement to the last batches which they seemed dull. Go for it.

Based on the notes, this is not a perfume I would normally expect to like, but somehow it’s blended so well that it was love at first sniff. I’ve already bought a 10 ml to see if it’s just a short-lived crush or true love. I first smelled the original two years ago, and that one felt a bit too floral to me. Rare experience when a new release is better than the original however doesn't last very long on me.. about 3 hours.

I LOVE THIS!!!!!! This is easily my favorite from Tom Ford. It really is a heavenly scent, quite hard to describe. It quickly became my daily signature. Really does remind me of snow. The performance is perfect on me I can still smell it after 8 hours. Try it if you like musks, white type of scents. It invokes the feeling of comfort, safety, purity, innocence. 10/10

As @Dumbplings mentioned, I too connected the scent to Aerin Amber Musk as it’s one of my current favorites in my collection. Once the mid-notes hit, it immediately reminded me of Aerin Amber Musk but once the base notes hit, the similarities end on my skin. I really have taking a liking to the Soliel Neige. The dry down is very soft and feminine on my skin.

If this ever becomes too popular i'll switch to aerin amber musk which smells the closest to this fragrance. This is my signature scent but previously I wore musk therapy and then that became too popular so had to switch to Soleil neige. I love this stuff so i'm gatekeeping it but have amber musk as my backup alternative to this which i'm keeping a secret

Soleil Neige really lives up to its name. It is an atmospheric scent that is a pleasure to wear. Settles into a quiet high luxury sunscreen vibe. Perfect for vacation (hot beach or cold mountain!). It earned its spot in my starting scent lineup.

Ayer lo probé en la tienda "Dillars" me pareció un olor muy sutil tipo nota de iris cuando pasan horas en tu piel. Muy limpio y sutil, no creo que dure mucho pero es un aroma bastante agradable, parecido a otro tom ford del mismo color.

Smooth, soft and luxurious. Would definitely fit into the minimalist, curated 90s CK vibe, so it feels like it’s office appropriate. I like the name as it really does live up to it, a texture of a crisp white snow on a sunny beach.

In my opinion, it smells almost exactly like the original (especially the dry down). It’s a fancy detergent-like scent that’s easy to wear 👍 + i’ve been wearing it for over 8 hours and i can still smell it on me

Had to buy a bottle after I tried it and been wearing this everyday, gonna be a signature scent in my collection forever this is my fav scent at the moment

Clean floral, citrus airy scent. A bit powdery. Can be worn in any scenario. It's a favorite of mine. Just wish the price was not what it is. But... TF

I love this cologne. My only issue is, it doesn't project and its very faint. Other than that, a great cologne, especially for the price point.

The "this perfume reminds me of" section is stupid. People just looked for "sport" fragrances and said yep.... or they're all bots.

1 spray ombré leather, 2 sprays Soleil neige right on top after drying. Thank me later

I'm still a little undecided about this one. First time I tried it, it was a burst of fresh citrus, that smelled more of lime than bergamot. It smelled like a sporty showersoap, after the citrus calmed down I almost couldn't smell anything... I have tried it a couple of times more, and now I can smell it a little bit more each time, so it seems that it gets stronger and more nuanced once it's been sprayed several times. I find it to be typical with many perfumes. I think some perfumes need a bit of oxygen in the bottle for all the notes to appear. Now I can smell a bit of white florals and something sweet once the citrus calmed down. I considered selling it after first trying it, but I'm gonna give it a chance, because I think once it's macerated/developed a little bit, it will be absolutely beautiful, I just hope the longevity will improve as well...😊

Very similar to my loved Tempting Bergamot by Angel Schlesser, with this solar? feeling, like luxury sunscreen. This is like mixing Beach Walk by Maison Margiela with Tempting Bergamot. It lasts even if you shower, even if the projection is not otherworldly (in my opinion). I get comfy, clean vibes with a playful side to it. It's a little expensive and I might not be buying it, but the scent is completely enjoyable and suitable for almost any occasion.

This is THE SAME Soleil Neige as previous one just in a new bottle as confirmed in my message from Tom Ford. I don’t know why some notes are different here in Fragnantica but it’s the same perfume. One of my favourites. Their message “Thank you for your inquiry. The citrus floral scent of iconic Soleil Neige is now presented in a Signature fluted glass bottle.”

It starts with a pretty bergamot and turns into a very likable summer skin scent. What my skin was exactly smelling like I’m still not 100% sure- while it is a very well blended jasmine musk with benzoin, there is something I just can’t describe. I still really love this tho the performance was very bad. -M206

This is dope. Light, airy, elegant, easy to wear, great on hot weather (under 30 degrees) Well done TF, well done. And well priced. Men can wear it easily, unless it's a formal occasion... where this will smell like a holiday.

Smelled this yesterday and oh wow... smells so good ! I love the dry down on this as well... very fresh and herbal. But lasting power is horrible... I would never pay that much for something that disappears so fast. To bad...

This smells fresh in the beginning but starts to get floral and powdery in the drydown. It leans slightly more feminine I think but it can be a unique and bold choice for a man.

ok maybe my mind has changed about this one its clean yet baby wipes esque mixed in with carrots leans a tad bit feminine which i dont mind but it kinda leans too much feminine for me and after a couple minutes becomes a skin scent the scent reminds me of a girl whos 12 years old and talks to much and who has never showered so she beggins to spray her perfume on to herself while you can still smell her body odor cause she hasnt showered for me personally myslf l absolu is better and being way less cheaper

Oh how unwanted to live this . Right away it smells fantastic! I smelled that Soleil Blanc DNA but in a more fresh clean and slight more masculine way. Fantastic!!! But after 15 minutes it gets gets a santal smell to it It smells almost totally different after about 20 minutes. Does it still smell nice , yes . But it totally falls off from what it smells like at first. It turns into a santal musk clean dustiness . I was ready to buy this but not anymore . I will give this a 6/10

It carries the DNA of the OG, but in a sweeter, more citrusy, and overall lighter form. The metallic chill that once gave it its cool edge is gone, as are the dense white florals that defined the original. Aside from the bottle’s improved appearance compared to the former design and its more accessible price point, I unfortunately don’t see any real advantages...

(I have only smelled the current 2025 version so can't compare this with the prior) This opens up beautifully. It's crisp, zesty, not too floral, very unisex. The marketing visuals seemed fitting, with minimalistic lines and sparkling snow. Unfortunately the drydown has a very strange note, sort of bitter herbal. Is it the carrot?

The private blend version of Soleil Neige Edp was fabulous and better than the 2025 signature collection version. The new signature collection Soleil Neige version has no longevity and lost after 2 hours. It's very disappointing as the new version is watered down and faint.

i have a love hate relationship with this. it smells beautiful on paper but it turns funky when sprayed on skin. i'd catch whiffs of it throughout the day and sometimes i love it, other times i hate it..maybe it just doesnt work with my skin chemistry :(

Its ok, on my skin its citrus and something floral, kinda reminds me of a dish washing liquid, also a bit candy-like. Its not really fresh.

Tried in store and it smells like a soap for me. The white soap, if say exactly a turkish brand Haci Sakir. Reminded me of my childhood.

Beautiful but extremely light. If I pay 200 Eur for a parfume, I expect something that actually smells. 😞

Meh. Pretty basic for the price imo. It's a simple fresh fragrance, very unisex which is nice tho.

Just got a sample of this for my husband. It’s marketed as unisex, but for me, on my husband, it’s way too sweet & “feminine” for my liking. It’s also not a scent I would wear either — not my taste — so it’s a “no” for both of us.

Initial spray smells strongly of old flowers and ammonia to my nose, unfortunately. The dry down is a somewhat faint but pleasant airy floral, but I can't get past how sharp it smells beforehand. :|

This is just pure water locked in a bottle at a ridicoulus pricepoint. No detectable evidences of the listed notes or the late original Soleil Neige, no sillage, no longevity. I've worn this after JHAG Not a perfume on the other day and I can say Not a perfume is a multi faceted, ever changing beast mode fragrance comparing to this one. Bravo, 'nice joke', TF!

Love at first sniff. I had the same visceral reaction to this that I had to Sospiro Vibrato... it is one of very few scents in my collection that I’ve purchased immediately. When SN was in the private line, there was a metallic undertone to it that went dank on my skin. It was a beautiful scent in the opening, but the dry down smelled stale. After many times trying, I finally resolved that the scent was not for me. When I saw it re-released with slightly different notes and a simpler base, I decided to give it a sniff. I was blown away. This is you freshly bathed and moisturized, sitting on your porch, wrapped in cashmere, shipping bergamot tea, looking out as the sun glistens on freshly fallen snow. The scent takes on a creaminess akin to cold cream as is develops on my skin, becoming more and more beautiful as time goes on. This scent just feels like me. I’m grateful for this improvement to the og EDP dna. Sometimes less is more.

Why, why, why did TF do this? The original Private Blend Soleil Neige was my signature scent. It was stunning and the sillage was stupendous. This is exactly what it looks like: a cheap version of a quality fragrance. It is similar to the original but not quite the same thing and it smells like the "bargain" version of Neige or a knock-off and has a tinny/metallic undertone that isn't in the original. I can't understand why they would treat this like Black Orchid when it was an absolutely beautiful and unique product. I'm so sad but did stock a few Private Blend bottles before it went offt the market in the fall of 2025. The new scent isn't completely unfortunate but it's nowhere near the exquisite fragrance it once was. I feel fancy wearing the Private Blend but cheap wearing this one. The packaging is very inexpensive looking as well. This whole thing is so disappointing. Leave it to Estee Lauder to wreck a good thing.

A very clean, airy, and angelic scent. To my nose this deserves Valaya's reputation and it comes at a much friendlier price tag. Very happy that Estee Lauder's TF team has moved from the generic and uninspiring releases of the past few years (vanille fatale etc.) to much more sophisticated and minimal scent profiles. They have clearly studied Gen Z'er preferences and taken notes in terms of brand approcheability. Opening new entry points to the high street perfume market in a strained economy landscape is not an easy feat and they have just achieved that. Less is more, and Soleil Neige makes for a discreet, easy to reach choice.

a simplistic citrusy white floral, yet extremely charming in its simplicity. its a bit musky and fresh, with a lovely sweetness reminiscent of boiled carrots (but its doesnt smell of carrots by no means). the lasting power, however, is around 1 hour of pronounced smelling, and then about 4 more of being as loud as a skin scent. hopefully will perform louder on clothes. it also starts smelling very generic in the dry-down, for the price asked they could've put more effort into creating something of higher quality. very promising beginning but eventually fell flat.

On skin the most prominent notes (for my skin chemistry) are the carrot and labdanum. The bergamot gives this fragrance a bright freshness. I would say the projection and sillage are intimate to moderate. And I would call this a long lasting fragrance. Other people may not smell it after a while but I can still smell it on myself. I would say this could be a good signature scent in the fresh category for someone with the right chemistry for it. Non offensive for work environments.

This one smells almost exactly the same as the old formulation only whitout the rose note. It is still juicy and floral but with a punch of white florals in stead of rose. Which is perfectly ok for me.I also smell some aldehydes which I don't find in the original formulation. Just a tuch of aldehydes. So overall I find this one a bit "lighter" than the original one. But the longevity and projection is the same compared to the original. Love them both!

Am I crazy, or is this new version completely different than the old one? I went to the TF counter to smell it, and they told me it was just a rebrand, new packaging old fragrance. But I cannot agree less. The old version was on my wishlist forever, I kept smelling it time to time and it was fabulous. This new version is very disappointing, I feel so sorry I didn't get the old one!

It's odd that they would make this apart of the signature collection, when they literally just made a parfum version. I'm sure it's been tweeked a little, but this is no different than any of the other private blend, becoming a signature. I'm glad it is tho, because I love it. Now it's cheaper.

They have ruined it. My guess is there is an ingredient they can't get anymore or something like that. A shell of the original, it is now sharp and cloying not classic and refined. Just get the Oakcha dupe. I am so disappointed!

Clean, musky, a bit powdery and a bit bright. Really pleasant, safe, office-friendly. Unisex to my nose, maybe leans a bit feminine. I like the white florals here, they do not smell too overpowering.
