Maritime Voyage

I really like this one. Its giving out tropical relaxing paradise vibes. Its very light and breezy. Lime and salt are not too heavy here, its tastefully rounded out with musk to soften the spikes. All the accents of a shoreline of a beautiful resort. Driftwood and some green botanicals of sandy beaches. Green color of the bottle fits this profile perfectly. No harsh herbal vibes here, just smooth and relaxing atmosphere. It doesnt last or project long, but it stays on your skin long enough. If you want a nice subtle tropical summer scent go with Tommy Bahama brand. After several wears I can confirm this does not last at all, below average longevity, too bad, its a nice hot weather scent.

I’m honored to be one of the first to write a review of this. This is a special fragrance. I find it kinda hard to figure out exactly what it smells like. I’m finally comfortable saying that I smell lemon, but not like in any other fragrance I’ve smelled. Aside from that, I know I can detect the elemi. And the elemi smells like The One EDP. This is a really tasteful, unique, and well done fragrance. For a guy, this is blind buy worthy. The sillage is good, longevity, fine. I can see this becoming a big hit. I’ve smelled a lot of fragrances. This is one of my favorites.

Long lasting, maybe 2 hours of decent arm length. Then strictly skin. Fresh, shaving cream, but creamy. The confectionery note hits on the tail end of a sniff. Very good stuff, worth the 25$ for sure! I think this is an oversprayer. 8 sprays and you will project pretty good while remaining fresh!

Maritime Voyage is a refreshing aromatic fragrance for men. Top notes are lime - linden, lemongrass and starfruit (carambola); Heart notes: elemi, sage and juniper; The perfume base consists of driftwood, cedar wood and musk. A very refreshing eau de cologne with a very distinctive lemon scent, and the star fruit is also very noticeable. Since I was a former captain and traveled the world from East to West, this eau de cologne reminds me a lot of my trips to the islands of East Asia, when the refreshing scents of the sea mixed with the scents of green forests and the scents of lemon grass. The scents of wood and musk remind me a lot of the rivers of East Asian island countries. When you acquire this fragrance, do not look for longevity, only look for personal enjoyment... This fragrance is eau de cologne... so do not expect more. Conclusion: A very sophisticated eau de cologne mixed with high craftsmanship and suitable for men over the age of 40 who appreciate enjoying different eau de colognes. Note: The fragrance bottle is a masterpiece.

Maritime Voyage is a unique fresh scent. Unique in that it doesn't dry down into the typical woody scent many freshies have. There's also no aquatic scent. Voyage starts out with a burst of fresh citrus and then quickly dries down into a smooth scent that gave me a very shadowy hint of Montblanc Legend EdP. Overall, very pleasant and refreshing. I can easily envision this scent working on a hot day. The problem with Voyage is its dismal performance. Within about an hour after application it was gone. Granted, I'm testing this in winter (to get ready for summer!) but my guess is that on a very hot, humid day you might get an extra 30 minutes out of it. I really haven't tried anything this weak since Hermes Concentré d'Orange Verte. I have samples of most of Tommy Bahama's currently available offerings. I hope the remainder don't have this poor performance.

EHH. It’s an okay scent. The lemongrass, sage, driftwood and cedar notes stick out most to me. A juicy, mature green cologne in my opinion. Maritime Journey imo smells and performs better than this. I paid $35 and feel like I overpaid for the 125ml. Definitely a spring to fall scent. I like it but I don’t love it. I’m sure there are better green scents at this price point. Not worth a blind buy to be honest. 4/5 scent though, definitely a mature musky scent on the dry down.

I really like the starfruit in this fragrance because it is unique, but there isn’t much else to it. To my nose it smells a little like an axe body spray. It’s cheap, but it’s also a EDC so it really only lasts for 2 hours. If you are looking for a cheaper summer fragrance I would recommend D&G Light Blue EDT, which in my opinion smells and performs a lot better. Its a little more expensive or the same price if you can find a good deal on it like I did.

A slightly sour shower gel scent. A little bit spicy/peppery. I like the bottle better than the scent itself, but the fragrance is nice enough for all normal purposes. Good, but not purchase-worthy.

Smells like central Florida. I do detect lime and perhaps lemongrass and star fruit in the top. I also detect a salty wood smell. Very good. 8/10

They're best worn with shorts or linen, barefoot on the beach, or while out on a fishing boat. Their ideal setting? An outdoor bar or dock—definitely not a boardroom or crowded city street. Tommy Bahama is not meant to be paired with a tie. Only by embracing this mindset can you fully appreciate what these fragrances offer. At the time of this review, Tommy Bahama offers a 1oz sampler set featuring Maritime for Men, Maritime Voyage, and Maritime Journey. I felt compelled to compare the three based on my personal experience and replicate the same comparison review for each scent. I first encountered Maritime for Men at a department store and was immediately intrigued. The salty top notes and fresh aquatic vibe made me think I had found my new summer signature. However, a major drawback with all of these fragrances is that they are colognes, and their performance often doesn't match that of other scents in a similar price range. Knowing that department store prices for designer fragrances are usually inflated, I chose to purchase online and opted for the three-bottle sampler set. On first spray, the top notes of each delivered exactly what I expected. However, after 30 minutes, any projection had faded significantly, leaving only a close-to-the-skin scent. This was consistent across all three bottles. That said, fragrance performance can vary by skin chemistry—your experience might be different, and you may enjoy longer-lasting results. Though they share a similar DNA, each of the three flankers offers a slightly different take: Maritime for Men is the most balanced of the trio. It opens with a fresh and slightly spicy note, transitions to a soft aquatic heart, and dries down to a woody, clean musk. It's casual, clean, and easygoing—perfect for a day at the beach or laid-back summer wear. Maritime Voyage is the crispest and most youthful. Bright green apple and lemon give the opening a zesty, energetic feel. It smells like a cool ocean breeze with a fruity twist. This one is playful and often compared to other mass-appealing fresh scents like Nautica Voyage, though I find it smoother and more refined. Maritime Journey is deeper, spicier, and has more aromatic character. Cardamom and juniper add maturity and depth, making it slightly more suited for evening wear or transitional seasons. It’s less bright than Voyage but stays true to the fresh, nautical theme. I genuinely love the scent of each one at first spray, which only makes the quick fade more disappointing. All three scents are similar however when directly compared they are distinct. Choose Maritime for Men if you’re looking for a balanced, fresh aquatic scent with woody undertones. Choose Maritime Voyage if you prefer bright, citrus-forward fragrances with broad appeal and a slightly better projection. Choose Maritime Journey if you want a fresh scent with a bit more depth, spice, and personality. I’m looking forward to testing these on 90-degree days to see if heat helps with longevity. Before the dry down, each one ranks very high in my preferences. I truly enjoy these fragrances, but it’s difficult to recommend something that disappears so quickly.

Ok Summer fragrance with a slight beach resort vibe. The lime, starfruit, lemon grass, and elemi particularly stand out to me. It’s a nice mix though I wish it had a little more driftwood. It’s fairly weak since it’s a Tommy Bahama EDC. Ultimately not nearly as beachy as St. Barts, but doesn’t smell as synthetic as that one either. The ingredients seem a little bit better quality in Maritime Voyage. This has a more natural treatment of starfruit too as compared to the ultra synthetic St. Kitts. Great looking bottle also. This is by far the best of the Maritime series but that doesn’t say much. Sold mine.

This thing is weak as water. It comes through and the notes shine a lot brighter on top of some sandalwood oil. That's the only thing keeping me from tossing this out or giving it away. Not their best release. I'll say that much.

Nothing special, just another fresh scent generic and versatile with no mark or signature. It's cheap and the bottle looks nice. If its discontinued no one will notice.

It's wave with a clean/soapy shower gel vibe. The main note I can really pick up on (other than overwhelming salt) is lemon grass. Like an all-purpose cleaner type of thing. Maybe juniper too, since there's something evergreen coming through. I think I've smelled this before in one of those high-end furniture stores that also sells candles and diffusers. The kind of place that I've never seen anyone buying anything from, just a few browsing couples killing time on the weekend. I'm realizing that anything related to a "salt" or similar types of notes gives me a headache. It's all I can smell with these fragrances. Overwhelms all other notes. Not for me, but I know others like it.

#313 in my "Tour de Fragrance" Like everything Tommy Bahama makes, except Maritime, a weak, generic, characterless freshie of no interest or value with no distinction from the rest of the line. A sour version of Martinique.

This is the 'special' scent at Dillard's or Ross, tj max, where ever they sell cheap scents. This will most likely be the best one. Grab it. GREAT for summer. Minimum 15 sprays 😆.. while is isn't new or breathtaking, it does bring a sensual tonka bean, and I'd assume whatever this 'starfruit' is makes the sweetness unique. It is citrus based, it is shower gel vibes, but it's also it's own scent, and smells better then the rest of the cheapies. Performance, 5/10. Scent, 8/10. Easy reach during summer.

I have to admit that I’ve never had a bad experience with Tommy Bahama. Until now. My expectations were reasonable, but Maritime Voyager offers nothing. Absolutely nothing. I sprayed multiple times trying to make it work with no avail. I have to make a big effort to detect some notes because they are presented at once like a mash of tropical synthetic neon-green notes that translate to nothing. Get the good old St Barts, Martinique or St Kitts, instead.

Tommy Bahama's Maritime Voyage is a soapy and clean smelling perfume. Kind of reminds me of being on a beach or cruising on a boat. This fragrance is distinctive. It is not long lasting, but the sillage makes up for it. Blind buy approved.

Good scent, sampled. Smells woody, slightly soapy with some citrus on top.

All I get are citrus, salt and musk.
