Freedom for Her

I didn't like this the first day I tried it on. The ginger seemed to much, but now I love it. It is invigorating and while a good summer perfume the ginger makes it spicy enough for the cooler weather. It's replaced my signature scent Safari since I can't get that anymore though I believe when this bottle runs out I won't be able to buy freedom for her either as I hear this too has been discontinued. :-(

Such a clean, fresh, yet somewhat spicy fragrance. Keeping my fingers crossed for a relaunch. I have managed to keep half of a 3.3 oz bottle from the late 90's...to say the least, I will use it very sparingly!

Does anyone know of a perfume manufacturer that copies fragrances? I would love to have freedom copied. It is my all time favourite.

I had to replace this with Lacome Miracle. Still wish this would be brought back. Also using Shisedo Energizing as a replacement.

People here should vote for this to come back in the awards. This was so fresh and energising why did they take it away?

So annoying this was discontinued. Bring it back! A real "wake me up" perfume with ginger!

I have a bottle from sometime pretty close to the launch of this perfume— complete with my name engraved on the cap — that is just about empty. This was near the beginning of the new millennium, and perfume like most things was going through a change. Instead of the heavy, bold scents of the 80’s-90’s, things were starting to become lighter, fresher, more clean and green. A bit flirty, a bit edgy. Freedom was quite “of its time” in that way. It was a gift to me from a long gone, long missed friend and I can’t bring myself to wear it very often these days, mostly because I want to hang on to the smell forever. It really is one of those fresh and clean scents, almost sporty or aftershave-ish, yet with enough complexity for it to be something of a changeling. In fact, on my skin, I always found that the spicy ginger notes were in a bit too much competition with the florals, leaving it somewhat unbalanced... I always *really* liked the start, but wasn’t ever quite as fond of the dry-down, but that’s just a tiny niggle with an overall great scent. Will always evoke memories of younger days and dear friends and the excitement of the coming new millennium.

I have a bottle from the early 00ies, and the ginger is very true to itself, but the rest of the notes are gone. I do not recommend to blind buy this beauty. The close perfume to this one now is the White Tea Ginger Lily from Elisabeth Arden, but of course it is for the young sweet toothed crowd and not as zesty as TH Freedom is/was. The new Estee Lauder Pleasures are closer in my opinion, for the white flowerines.

This was such a unique scent, with combinations of florals, spice, freshness and god, there is melon in it? Never realized! This was a bottle of perfume I treasured as my father had bought it for me on his travels at an airport. I think would still love this scent eventhough it's been years since I actually smelled it.

Fresh,uplifting,a really vivid,clear perfume! And longlasting and modern as well. I dare to say is not only for summer,is an everyday,should I say for evening too? Little bit masculine,but fresh on the right skin.If you still have it,enjoy!

Please bring it back, and make it less artificial.

It smells like nothing I've expected...stinks. Funny, I tried it at a perfume store, so it's definitely fresh. Somehow it smells so different from other Tommy Girl fragrances...

I have never understood why this lovely feminine fragrance was d/c'd. It is a beautiful creamy white, green note scent. I have been asked when wearing this one what is that gorgeous scent I'm wearing. It lasts all day or night. Great for all occasions. I have a vintage bottle of this one and covet and lovingly take care of it. I once found this in my daughter's room, and promptly told her "no" she has done this in the past and let some friend's "borrow" the bottle's and I've never seen them again. NOT with this one. I really wish for a re-launch so that this generation can experience this one.

I don't understand why the hell was this discontinued ?!! why is it whenever I am crazy about a perfume and its lasting power , I no longer find it ! from escada en fleur to l'eau de roger gallet to freedom by tommy .. even the ones that are still being produced are very difficult to come by like priavte collection by estee lauder or senso by ungaro.. cmon give me a break .. this was sooooooooooo fresh , so clean , so personafied and very and i mean very long lasting .. please bring it back , it is so different from any other "fresh" or sporty" scent out there..

I have a bottle of this, it is used but only a tiny bit, it is the large 3.4 oz bottle I was looking to sell this and looked on ebay and everyone stated that it was rare, I can not understand why it is rare because it is still being sold, but with that said I am selling mine, I see a lot of people like this scent so if you are interested, paypal only please, email me at [email protected] =)

my bf brought it to me from London when I was young and fresh and only 16 back in 2000 :)) I fell in love with it immediately, it was one of the best scents that I've ever smelled!!! 10 years passed already, but I still keep 3,4 oz bottle as sweet memory of the days passed. Tommy Hilfiger people, for God's sake, pls let Tommy Freedom be back, I desperately miss it!!!!!!!

Simply love this perfume. Smells great on my. My husband gifted it to me very soon after we were engaged and it's been over 10 years now. I use it only for my MOST spl. occasions and the compliments just POUR in. Everyone wants to know which perfume this is. Didn't know it's out of production. PLEASE do bring it back so that many more women enjoy this fabulous perfume.

It was given to me as a gift a long time ago. I never used it as I'm more into oriental perfumes. I decided to use it one summer that I went to the shore. My husband commented on how he didn't like it on me. There was a particular note that stood out it most have been ginger, it also reminded me of tabacco somehow. I ended up giving it away

I got this for my birthday back in 2002 & I loved it. Then it became a tradition I get it every year for my birthday. Then they no longer have it in the states. They have the mens, but womans. It became one of my favorite scents. If anyone has a bottle of this they dont use, please let me know if you want to sell it. Thanks....Margie

This is such a lovely perfume, reminding me of good times. I was afraid I just remember of it, but wouldn't like it's smell anymore, but managed to buy a vintage bottle and I'm still in love with it. Never found anything like this since it was discontinued. Please, please bring it back for us!

Bring it back please, rename it if you want , repackage it if you will .. do whatever it takes but bring it back .. this was so damn fresh and had a beast silage at the same time which is very difficult to come by ..
